First 30 minutes is free and the rest of the time you park there is for a fee that you can pay at various machines on the parking lot. Make sure to have a ticket on your car even if you only stay for the free 30 minutes; otherwise you’ll get a ticket that costs €35. I’ve seen comments here claiming that this parking lot is free or complimentary, which is obviously inaccurate. This parking lot is NOT FREE but it’s relatively inexpensive.

Amazing park in Kassel! In some days, from the end of April to the beginning of October, there is a waterfall show. A beautiful view opens from the Zeus monument. At the bottom of the park, there is an art gallery with the paintings of Rafael, Rubens, etc.

A great place. Water features, a medieval castle and a palace. This place has it all.

Nice park. Highlight of the park is the Hercules monument. You can park the car and take the shuttle to get to the Hercules monument or walk through the park to get there by foot.

Good location, spacious spots and near the bus. But make sure to check if bus is going that way, schedule is changing depending on the day of week and holidays.
