    What an absolute joke . Not only did the receipt not work in any machine the food was 20 mins wait then had to ask where it was then another 6 mins later it come without the wrap and the wrong burger . The staff seriously need to stop messing with the drive through and sort out the customers inside . Only gave 1 star cause it couldn't give any less . Joke here

    Hands down the worst mcdonald's you can go. When going through drive thru Even if you only got a straw they would park you up for 10 mins. Burgers always look like they have been thrown together trying to beat the world record for fastest burger made, so go with chicken selects or nuggets if you do have to go here . 4am in the morning on way home from a flight only place open so I had to go here again. Asked for a burger with no ketchup and got a burger with extra ketchup. Also the fries were stone cold. Called the shop to complain and the phone was put down on me.

    Worst mcdonalds ive been to Double Quarter was served cold not even close to a hot meal this kind of service doesnt even deserve one star considering a meal costs almost £7 these days.

    So got 3 meals found a hair in the packaging with one of the hash browns the woman on the floor that we told just whent what I put it ontop of my coffee lid to show her so she just went to take the lid and i said no hang on can u replace the hash brown please and she said oh u want a new one I'll see what I can do

    Computer ordering screens have a huge lag...I thought it was not working. went to the counter to order to be told in quite a rude manner (surprisingly by an older member of staff) it is working! I will come and do it for you!. Went back to the machine and surprise surprise it had decided to catch up! So I paid and said to the lady, "....would'nt it be better to allow people to come to the counter to order?, you know, a bit of human interaction?" For her to shout back as she walked away from me back behind the counter, "...no cos we're short staffed". I answered with, "...well maybe if you paid your staff a decent wage, you might not have these problems?" One of the many customers waiting told me, "...yeh see your problem mate, the machine would not give me a reciept so I got to ask what's in the orders as the shout the numbers out....they have a smart answer to everything in here" So would I recommend switch island mc D's? Err only if you want a public slanging match in front of other customers! And use slow slow computer ordering....apart from that it's OK.

    The sausage and egg muffin ordered on the online app had been through the wars before it reached me. I ordered a breakfast meal which was cancelled upon my arrival to collect it due to an error on the app leaving me no time to try and order a replacement. The staff member who brought it to my car said a lot of customers had similar problems with the app. Very poor service McDonald's very poor. 3/10

    4am been on the road for 4 hrs. Start work at 6. Thought cool sit down have a coffee. Doors closed. Drive thru 'We're only taking orders on the app". Nothing about this here on opening hours information. Only wanted a coffee.

    Famous words. ‘Can you pull over for us’ every time anyone tries to order, whether it’s dead or not. Needs sorting out, never known a McDonalds like it, clearly not fast food. I’ve had a restaurant cook me a 12oz steak faster than they serve food.

    Waited for 40 minutes in a parking space for the food after going through the drive thru. Went in to be told they'd forgotten.... Had to go back in yet again for dips that weren't in the bag. Food stone cold. Won't make the mistake of visiting this one again.

    No matter how many times you order from this place, they never get an order correct. Uber Eats or Just Eat orders are a nightmare , and more often than not you end up having to drive there to get your missing items. Oh, and trying to get sort a refund from these two online ordering services is like trying to get blood out of a stone. They do not make it easy

    Grim. Waited 20+ minutes for no food, cancelled & refunded. Awful service, chaos behind the counter, poor management. However one member of staff was good enough to be doing waitress table service for her friends or family. I very rarely use mcdonalds, but as we were with our niece we went there. I wont make that mistake again.

    Once the best mcdonalds in Liverpool, now one of the worst. Drive through never have food ready. Customer service is terrible. If your not ordering just eat or uber eats don't bother that's all they care about.

    Food is what it is in Macdonald's... Can't go wrong really. Unfortunately the service was awful. Since they've refurbished and focussed on the self service system, the quality of the customer facing element has significantly declined. If they don't get your order right first time - which they rarely do - you'll struggle to get their attention as they're all round the corner concentrating on drive through customers.

    It's not the food, it's the service that's lets this franchise down. We wouldn't normal entertain a McDonald's restaurant most of them hold a standard that is nation wide. For a tycoon business there will be mistakes as most restaurants generate profits only independent businesses could dream of. Mcdonalds Switch Island | Liverpool Food Review: QUALITY: Regards where you are in the UK the food hit a standard time & time again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ VALUE: Thought prices have risen in later year you still get the same as yesterday. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ TASTE: Nothing special but it's a required taste on tap ⭐️⭐️⭐️ CONSISTENCY: Always the same no matter where you are give or take mistakes here & there. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ For this we're looking at some of the services the franchise offers from the drive-thru to the counter. SERVICE: Switch Island has is moments, we've had what you expect at the counters, however here like its counter-part Aintree restaurant fails on a regular basis to fulfil the correct order taken & given. ⭐️⭐️ WAIT TiME: This can depend on the time of day your average wait time even when not busy is between 8-12+ minutes with drive-thru being far quicker sometimes than walking in & ordering in person ⭐️⭐️⭐️ STAFF: To Date we've only had 1 members of staff at this drive-thru worthy of a 5 Star 🌟 solo performance, however its the in-house counter staff that are fail the mcdonalds brand reputation, many including management are disinterested with a number of staff avoiding customer eye contact or service & little to no exchange of communication or proper hospitality. ⭐️ HYGIENE: This restaurant has a standard we've seen maintained however tables clean up & clean as you go seem alittle laboured at times with bins filled beyond capacity. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mcdonalds Switch Island | Liverpool Overall Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️

    3rd and last time I’ll ever use the drive thru at switch island. Told to park up which is fair enough if they need to prepare the food. But 25mins later I finally got my food and not one item was hot (the item maybe that was causing the wait). When it finally arrived, there was no apology for the 25min wait and upon checking my order it was wrong! Having no faith in the staff bringing my order out, I went into the ‘restaurant’ to collect the correct order, once again no apology for delay or error. I don’t see the point in a drive thru service if you have to go inside to get your order. If it was a one off that’s understandable, but it’s the last 3 times we’ve used the drive thru. Management need to teach the staff customer engagement skills. My advice, Drive to Aintree McDonalds as even with the longer drive you’ll still probably get served quicker! (And more chance of your order being hot and correct). Won’t be going back.

    Staff, including the manager, stood around chatting whilst they were fully aware 4 of us were in the que waiting. Kids where running around chucking ketchup. Can safely say, we will never return

    the ice cream machine never works, it’s rare they have any milkshakes or mcflurrys. they’re always busy so the queues are very long and it’ll take around 20 minutes just to receive your order. however the food is satisfactory

    If I could give no stars I would! Ordered at 1:20 had to do it through the app as the tills were down! Waited 40mins we had to chase the food to be told it’s being cooked then handed cold food asked make fresh waited a further 10mins to be given the same cold burgers and the hot apple pie! Apparently they had no staff to bring over to the car! When there was ample staff no apology we will not be returning! Shocking experience you need to pay this Chain a visit!

    Ordered food through drive through waited 20mins for it, to find drinks where flat which got swapped. Got home 2mins down the road to find stone cold chips and burgers and a plain double cheese burger to be 2 normal single burgets not plain which my child wouldn't eat.

    This used to be a brilliant McDonald's for many years, but since the pandemic the take away service has become quite slow. If you use the drive in, you often have to park up, and wait for a staff member to bring your order. If you go inside the service can often be slow.

    My partner and I waited 20-25 mins for our food, so I went to the counter to chase it up - we were then given someone else's order! We waited again and were eventually given the correct food. The staff seemed more concerned with keeping the drive through moving than they were about their indoor customers happy. Only one staff member was remotely helpful to us, the others were apathetic and demotivated.

    Nice clean mcdonalds. Think the salsa dip with the mozrella sticks is just a myth. Everytime I tell them to put it on the order. It's like yeah sure. Drive out and boom its not there 😂

    Food arrived stone cold, how on earth do you forget to put 2x cheese slices on my burger ‘The Big and Cheese’ (a quarter pounder with 2x cheese and cheese sauce) but put on only the cheese sauce?!? Not only that! My coke arrived flat with NO straw and the whole order had no dips at all. Anytime I’ve visited this place by car I’m always having to pull up and wait for someone to come out which they might, emphasis on might, come out 20-30mins later.

    It's alright, your average McDonald's, didn't feel as clean as McDonald's Aintree, but then again these guys are much busier so I can understand. Staff are nice here too, haven't had any issues with my deliveries from here.

    As always I ordered and paid extra for full fat coke, I double checked on collection as I am allergic to sweeteners, and was told it was definitely full fat. Sadly it most definitely wasn't and was definitely diet, which resulted in me being violently sick, and ill for a number of days afterwards. I called the to complain and was told I could return the 12 miles for a coke... very rude manageress. They need to take food allergies seriously. I also messaged the Facebook page and was told there would be an investigation, that was more than 2 months ago now, and my messages to follow up are being ignored... a restaurant that cannot understand the seriousness of food allergies should not be operating!

    I ordered on Uber Eats from this McDonald's, and I received a donut which as stale and rock hard, I complained to Uber about the issue and explaining that the donut was not edible and it was stale, providing a picture that showed the donut to show I had taken a bite and spat it out as it was soo hard, with the part of the donut I spat out as it was stale next to the donut, and they will not issue a refund to my account. Every time I order from this McDonald's they always miss something off the order or do not read the grill stickers asking for no pickles. This is ridiculous as a former employee of McDonald's I think that it is disgusting that this happens on a regular basis, and the managers at this store really need to hate a team meeting with their crew trainers and crew members, as they are clearly not checking consistent with their food quality, or customer satisfaction either.

    Called at about 8.30pm on a Monday evening. Had to wait a while for our food, and this was behind quite a lot of home delivery orders being collected. However, the food was brought to us, complete, correct and perfect of its kind, with great friendliness and courtesy. You can rely on McDonalds and this was the perfect customer experience despite the wait.

    The only McDonald's on Dunning Bridge Road L30. Quite busy most of the time. Clean and tidy and offer drive through, eat in and out and delivery.

    Stayed in the Travelodge Hotel next door so was very convenient for a breakfast muffin each on one day and a snack burger for lunch on another. Quite cheap with discount offers through the app'. Very helpful young lady advised us on the first time as we are not very good with tech. Extremely quick service.

    Recently used the drive thru. The was a queue but was expecting that with it being dinner time, however the queue moved quite quick. When I got to the window to pay the lad was also taking orders on the headphone. The poor lad was doing both jobs. He done a great job with a very stressful situation he was in.

    This is the worst McDonalds I have ever ordered from. I have made the mistake too many times and tonight was my last! The order had never been correct on each occasion. The last time I ordered it took more than 1 hour to deliver so was cold and had missed a complete meal and all the chips from the other meals amd sent the wrong McFlurry with no sauces and no straws. Tonight was the final straw for me when yet again the order was wrong, had no sauces and no straw again. I know it’s quite a busy McDonalds being the drive thru however they always seem to have plenty of staff and Managers what are you doing if not checking the correct orders are being sent out? I DO NOT recommend a delivery from this McDonalds.

    Bacon tasty meal stone cold. Of course you expect the lettuce to be cold - but not the burger and the bacon. Completely inedible. Big Mac meal was warm - although if you compared it to the big tasty it was red hot!!!! Absolutely disgusting. Had to wait in the car for 10 minutes for it to be brought - we presumed that meant we were getting hot food.

    Don’t understand why they are advertising halloumi fries on there billboards. Tried ordering it they stated that no McDonald’s do them anymore. Which i believe is false advertisement so then tried ordering a veggie plant burger meal an was told that they don’t have them stock. This place is a shambles no one seems to care about the customer was told my food will be 3 minutes. I’ve waited 25 mins for cheese dippers and also a filla burger I definitely think the that they need sort the attitude out in this shop and have a real manager running the store

    Is this not the bloody slowest Mac Donald’s on the planet ! They are the slowest bunch I have ever stood watching from a queue for 25 minutes, fast food it ain’t ! Avoid it is my advice, go across the road to the pub or the cafe in Dunelm !

    This Maccys seems completely incapable of getting a delivery order right. And MacDonalds themselves try to blame the delivery company. Ubereats didn't bag and seal my order. You did. And tbh feel completely ripped off. Bunch of thieves. You will order a Big Mac meal, and it's missing the key ingredient. The Big Mac. You'll order nuggets with dips, get no dips. Your drink never comes with a straw. And when it does eventually arrive it's freezing cold. Avoid this place like the plague.
