You arrive and it looks large and luxurious. You get helped into reception with your bags and up to your room. The main concierge is lovely and helpful. That unfortunately is where it ends. Everything is dark. I do understand conserving power but it’s not a nice feeling. The floors are sticky and littered with dead flies. The rooms are not much better. There was rubbish on the floor in our room which remained there the 3 nights we stayed Our mattress was like sleeping on cement but with the odd spring poking you in the back. I did ask for a better room and was told all the beds are the same The doors too some rooms have massive gaps so you can see into the room from the hall. Breakfast nice but cold. The chef cooks eggs/omelettes to order. They are very nice. However the staff would rather stand and chat than clear tables or ensure any glassware is available to guests. We had to ask for glasses. The young man that clears the tables spend most of his time chatting to other staff or eating The gym is a glorified storage room with some gym equipment and lots of equipment ie tables and chairs being stored there. Again lights off Every time we tried to go to the cafe attached to the hotel we were told NO closed The hotel has a lot of meeting rooms and has a bunch of very loud rude Japanese guests staying and using conference rooms. That works constantly stand outside there doors and mine laughing and yelling at each other at 0600 and midnight, waking us up We did not move hotels as we are trying to do a budget trip and put it down to part of the experience We have stayed in other budget hotels and had soft beds, clean rooms and hot food so it can be done

The price is much higher than other hotels and I feel cheated. And the room is old and the sound insulation is very bad. With such bad soundproofing, I barely got any sleep last night.

We booked this hotel for the second week of a work trip, hoping to have a comfortable space to enjoy after busy days, and we were disappointed. We arrived around 7:30pm on a Sunday to check-in, as we had noted when making the reservation, and found the lobby empty with half the lights off. No one was at the front desk and one of the security guards ended up coming over to help us. He was very friendly, but he had to call a staff member who spoke English and could talk him through checking us in. Once we arrived at our room, we were discouraged by the state of it. There was hair and hair ties on the ground, telling me the floor had not been cleaned before us. There were several tears in the bedding. There was a blood stain on one of the towels and the other had a fraying edge. We had also chosen the option, when making the reservation, to have the beds configured as 1 king bed and 1 twin bed, rather we had 3 twin beds. Lastly, we pulled back our window curtains only to discover our view was of some exterior, dusty hallway. Another bizarre thing was we had a maid let herself into our room at 8:30am on the morning. Thankfully we were up and dressed when it happened. We spent the night there, but ended up checking out the next morning to move hotels. The staff at the front desk were still very friendly and helpful. All in all, the staff there were lovely, but the space felt like it was done up in 2010 and hasn’t been updated or maintained since. I’d say it’s comparable cleanliness to the average hostel, but you’re paying the price of a hotel. The location is also on the edge of where all the shops and restaurants are, but far enough that it’s not necessarily a nice, walkable area.

Staying here on a business trip, it is comfortable and convenient. Not the flash hotel it appears from exterior appearance but with a bathtub - what can I say - soak and relax!

I have no idea how this hotel is getting the reviews that it is. My room is so dirty-there is dust clumps coming out of air vents, the bathroom is covered in mold, there was clump of hair in the moldy shower mat, shower curtain was molded as well, it looked like cigarette burns all over carpet, bedside lamps didn’t work or the hair dryer. They also don’t turn the hallway lights on and they are dark and uncomfortable. There is no way this is 4 star hotel. I’ve been staying at 3 stars all over Laos and they have been wonderful.

So many flowery reviews. It's fascinating how no one mentions just how loud that area actually is. Stores with speakers non-stop. I changed rooms twice and couldn't take it. Was there 3 hours and charged 900 baht. The rooms are exceptional but what good is that if you can't stay in them. If you're ok with a ridiculous amount of street noise vibrating your room then have at it.

To be honest, I have yet to get a chance to stay in the hotel but mostly my experience was by nature of business lunch, dinner as well as corporate events. Overall, the place is very pleasant & up to its reputation standard. Local staff are well trained and able to uphold the expectations for the premium hospitality standard. Just I do not like the parking availabilities, it could be pain at times during the peak season.

It located 15-20 min by walk far from the main tourist street, but very close to bus terminal to take International bus or to go Budah Park. Even old, but clean and comfortable to stay. I tried breakfast with noodle but you’d better to have a real noodle in “Pho zap” near the hotel -the breakfast was :(( in the hotel. I think every room has balcony -and you can smoke there.

The hotel is located about 15 to 20 minutes away from the airport and it is a walking distance to Patuxai monument. There are lots of eateries near the hotel too. The receptionist were very friendly although they may have limited English vocabulary. The lights along the corridor to room were off during the day, I believe is to conserve energy. The room was considered good (in laos) to me personally and the room I was assigned to has a balcony. The breakfast was good for me as they served pastries, porridge, thai noodle, sausages, eggs and etc.... Overall the experience was great!

I would stay there again as the location was good... far enough away from the busy areas to be quiet, yet within striking distance. The rooms were spotlessly clean and classy. The breakfast buffet was amazing! I seldom use that word, but it was.

A hotel in Vientiane close to the city centre. Less than 10 minutes walk to the fountain and to the monument (patuxay). Reasonable price with a good breakfast. No swimming pool. Rooms are spacious. 10 USD for the airport drop. If using a taxi only 60,000 kip. Friendly staff. Was worth for the money.
