Nice place Lot of local tasty food stalls. Bata ganga view point is nearby place. You can take a toto and visit there. Enjoy the calm sunset barite ganga river. Or enjoy sip of hot tea sitting in the river bank. There is a children park but recently that's not seen open. Still I visit there frequently and enjoy the fresh air beside river ganga 😊

Batanagar new market is good place for shopping.. only thing is you can’t find all things here. The price is also little higher then other place . Besides this place is good for evening local food and gathering..and needs more improvement.

One of the prime location of Maheshtala area. Calcutta river side is now a land mark for everyone. And the market place is well organised. In the evening a lot of young crowds spend time over there while enjoying the street food. This place is also famous for its event. A historical event.

It's a very crowded place with lots of stores. Outside the market you can find many street food stalls. But most of these stalls are scattered here and there and makes it hard for people to pass by. The road at back side of the market has a waterlogging problem which causes foul smell and is a breeding place for insects. It's a good place in terms of shopping considering the variety of things available at affordable price range but if we consider hygiene and general public awareness it's in a very bad shape.

Very cheap price... you can get various types of sunglasses, clothes,food here. It has A river side area with cool wind and lake side view at small distance from the batanagar new market with chat,velpuri,phuchka,cha, coffee and more...all over a good experience ❤️

Always overcrowded. Smoke and gutka smell all round the place. You have to negotiate price hard, so be prepared.
