Hotel Amantran is at the entrance of the fort and very close to Narmada Ghat. A small 6-room property is a good option in Maheshwar to spend 2 to 3 nights. The owner, Mr Ashish Ghati, is a very warm person and took a personal interest in making things comfortable for guests. The rooms are very neat and clean, and they pay a lot of attention to linen and towels used for the guests. They have used tall furniture, unique but may be uncomfortable for some. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but finding food in a close vicinity is not a big task. Labbooz's cafe at a stone's through away serves the purpose. I would recommend the place for a short visit to Maheshwar at a very reasonable price.

The best hotel to stay in Maheshwar. Narmada ghati and Fort are at walking distance from the hotel. The owner Mr. Ashish Ghati and his brother-in-law and their staff took good care of us. A lovely place to stay for a family.

Stayed for two nights. Sureshji ,the manager, is a very kind hearted gentleman. He took care of our needs and requirements very well. Very clean and neatly maintained. Parking facility is available. No in- house restaurant. However varieties of snacks tea etc may be arranged at request. There is no lift, so aged people might have a little difficulty but considering the Maheshwar visit (ghats and temples) climbing stairs is unavoidable. We would love to visit again sometime.
