This review is for Manthan Songhai (the door to the left when you stand facing towards the restaurant) For starters we ordered: Bamboo fish - 6 big pieces. Rs. 358 Absolutely delicious, do try this. Fish was tender and fresh and the sauce was to die for. They'll make this according to your preference, gravy or dry. We ordered it without gravy. Drums of heaven- 6 pieces. Rs. 200. Again, delicious. Songhai special chicken- 10 pieces pieces. Rs. 344. Perfectly cooked and moist chicken pieces. Nice smoky, charred onions. Nothing to dislike. However, after the delicious bamboo fish and the drums of heaven, it tasted okay-ish. You can skip this one if you wish. For mains, we ordered: Mixed Fried Rice- Rs. 216. Fabulously made. Filled with eggs, chicken, prawns. Not skimpy at all. Mixed Hakka Noodles and Chicken Hakka Noodles- Rs. 216 and Rs. 176. Tasted delicious, both of them. Smoky and filled with eggs, chicken, and shrimp. Again, they didn't skimp at all. Garlic Chicken- Rs. 176. Good quantity for the price. Don't expect big chunks, it was made with small pieces. Juicy chicken but the gravy was sweeter than expected. Our server had told us that the gravy would be on the sweeter side, but we hadn't expected this much. It still tasted okay but a bit bland. Fish Manchurian- Rs. 314. Quantity was good. Numerous small pieces. Tasted decent. The sauce was a bit bland but the fish was very soft and tender. Rs. 2234 (including a chicken clear soup Rs. 126 and two aereated drinks, not mentioned above. Didn't try the soup, so cannot give an opinion) for 5 people. The quantity was more than sufficient for us and we were stuffed! The ambience is rather pleasing and the place is usually empty. The service is a bit slow but the staff is courteous. Booze prices are reasonable as well.

I didn't know about this place that it serves such amazing chinese. Really a lovely place for having some me time or for business meetings. It made me feel so relaxed. Ambience was very calm. The taste of the food was worth the price. Prices of the items in the menu were quite reasonable. Service was prompt and staff's behaviour was polite. The best thing I liked is, it wasn't crowded like most Chinese restaurants. I must say I had a great time here. What we ordered: Mixed chowmein. Drums of heaven. Dried chilli chicken. Must visit.

One of the cheapest bar cum restaurant in kolkata . One can visit with friends as well as family . Vodka shots starts only at rs. 95/- Their smoking area on the second floor gives a beautiful vibe . Their must try starter according to me is Mongolian Chicken , and chicken Kabab ❤️

One of the best BARS in Esplanade area. The rates aren't that high. The staffs are quite good and the ambience is just perfect. If you aren't drinking there you could definitely try some dishes, which is delicious. Credits to their superb chefs. Special mention is of the Pepper Chicken, GIVE IT A TRY !!! Toilets are clean, smoking area is present.

I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Never! The behavior of the manager(assigned on the Upper Stairs)is just pathetic. I have no idea what he thinks of himself. And apart from the rude behavior by their team, the manager (assigned on the upper stairs) almost comes and beg for the tip and if u don't tip them up some good amount of money they surely mutter bad words(insult, slang)about u among themselves,which they did to us especially the manager. At the end I would only say that don't ruin someone's day by your aarogant , pathetic rude cheap behavior just for the sake of some tips(money). People go their to relax and enjoy their day , not to ruin it. Ambience and food was norm according to the price.

We were searching for bars near Esplanade and just found this place. Car parking is available here. There is wheel accessible entrance also. We went to first floor for better view and boom! The feeling was like we went to some high costly bar at Bangalore but no the prices are so cheap! The ambience is absolutely stunning and foods are really good. We had tasted chilli prawn and chilli chicken dry. The staffs were very polite. Hospitality was good and washrooms are very clean. The place is pretty huge and you can get your privacy. There is also smoking corners available. You can bring or buy ciggerettes here as your choice. Overall at this price this ambience and perplexing bar is unimaginable!

This place is a hidden gem in the middle of kolkata. Food quality is at its best . the best attractive thing about the restaurant is that its very very affordable . the environment and ambience is gorgeous. staffs are very helpful and polite. in normal days its not so crowded but in festival occasions you have to wait a little bit.its located in waterloo street. their seating facility is good too and very comfortable and clean. if you are looking for a pocket friendly place to enjoy then its a must go.

Beers are little pricey and lacked variety. The starters were all great, especially chicken lollipop and fried chicken with dry chilie. Expect a quiet ambience with a crowd of middle-aged office goers. Would definitely go back.

Last saturday I visited here for some refreshment.The place was well decorated.There services also quick.I tried there: •Chicken jade fried as starter and •Hakka chow (egg) •Bamboo chicken Stater tasted good with well cooked 6 pcs chicken. Egg hakka chow filled with vegetables and egg. Bamboo chicken yumm,I tried first time.It was so spicy and tasty. Foods were delicious.Quality and quantity both were great and enough for one person. They have an offer now which is 2:1.Buy 2 get 1 free for happy hours on some liquor.So they served liquor with nuts. Nice place.You can spend times with your friends and family on upstairs.
