Came here a tried the 2 courses for £10 and was pleasantly surprised after going to another beefeater and having a bad experience. Restaurant was extremely clean both inside and out, friendly staff and our oder came out quickly. Tasty, sizzling hot food for a good price! I will definitely be returning.

Lovely building, with a good size car park. Disabled access. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. £9.50 for an unlimited cooked breakfast, with continental buffet. Well worth the money, with lots of choice, from juices, tea, coffee, cereal, toast, crumpets, croissants, selection of spreads, fruit, yoghurts etc. To top it off, kids eat free! Family friendly. Will be visiting again.

Popped in for the evening menu, after 5pm. Good selection deals for 2 or 3 courses , small surcharge on the sirloin steak , which is reasonable. Service was attentive and cheerful . Recommend

We stayed at the Premier Inn next door and so it was convenient to have breakfast at the Beefeater. There's an adjoining door from the Premier Inn reception/lobby into the bar and then the eating area at the Beefeater. The ambience was great and warm the both mornings we were there. I loved the decor and think the staff were pleasant. We had the £9.50 unlimited cooked breakfast, with continental buffet on both mornings. There was a varied collection of cereals, fruits and yoghurt to pick from. The kids liked it.

5 adults 2 small children . Food took over an hour . Had been sitting under a heat lamp for goodness knows how long .fish soggy . Mushy peas hard.chips cold . Sent back didn't order desserts as service was so long . No apology about time . Getting drinks asked 3 times. Short staffed so should not have accepted the booking. Manager was rude .moody .would never ever go back . Wanted a nice meal at end of long day to round of weekend . Really wish we had gone McDonald's instead least would of been edible food .better service and hotter .

The food was really not very good. The fish and chips was all batter but they replaced it. The chicken burger was very plain with undercooked french fries and no garnish so I had to pay the extra for some salad. The service however was brilliant, very attentive and friendly and they were happy that we took a birthday cake which they brought in with candles alight. Also we stayed for ages as we were a large group and they didn't rush us.

The service time was extremely slow. They seemed to be understaffed but kept seating new customers whilst struggling to serve the seated customers. I felt very sorry for the staff being run off their feet. We had to cancel our last order of drinks because they took so long to turn up. Very badly run, the management need a shake up.

We arrived as was seated very quickly, so we thought this looked promising. Given a breakfast menu wasnt told about helping ourselves to breakfast/drinks. Had cereal, etc , ordered our cooked breakfast. When it arrived, my husband had black pudding missing, and mime had hash browns missing. We both had ordered poached eggs, which were more like hard bolied. I had 1 of everything expect tomatoes, and my husband was given 2 of everything he ordered. We won't ask how many eggs, etc . The eggs were very small compared to what i have a home and when stayed at other hotels. The food was that hot, either . We finished our cooked breafast and had some delicious warm chocolate croissants. Which we had just finished when the waitress appeared with our missing black pudding and hash browns in the same bowl. They should if ben in separate bowls as i hate black pudding . Though out the breakfast will were not asked once if everything was ok. The staff were busy and maybe needed to have more on at weekends. We paid and wasn't even asked how everything was. Tea was very hot, so that was good. Coffee from your machine was awful, so hubby said. Unfortunately, i dont think i be rushing back on mynext rare Saturday off work.

We ordered the steak sirloin and the ribs and they were reasonably priced especially considering that the ribs was a full rack. I was surprised on how delicious and tender steak was since it was excellently cooked without any sauces. Plus the accompanying sauces made it taste even better. For a restaurant attached to a hotel that we were staying, we weren't expecting anything but the food was quite good and we would come back or try another Beefeater location. Our server Leane was very friendly and we had a good conversation that was genuine.

We joined family that stayed at the premier Inn here for breakfast on Sunday 26th March 2023 at 10am. The Restaurant was very accommodating to seat us with them (we live locally so didn't need to stay at the hotel) and as there were 10 or us so they put us in our own area, sadly we all had to sit on separate tables but was not too much of a problem however it would have been nice if we could have all sat at one table. They didn't have black pudding, which some of us like but more importantly my husband only wanted the continental but I am afraid to say this was not great. The restaurant was very busy, and the few staff that were seen were working flat as it was rather busy but unfortunately the bread and pastry side was not replenished when my husband went up for his and so could only have toast, this meant it basically cost £8.99 for two slices of toast and one croissant which was offered to him piping hot fresh out of the kitchen just as we were about to leave. The cooked breakfast was lovely and the waitress that served us was fantastic.

Just had the loveliest roast beef I’ve had in a long time… roast potatoes were spot on, and the unlimited gravy, roast potatoes and Yorkshire were an added bonus. Will definitely be coming back! As a ‘Karen’ I do like to moan, but couldn’t find fault with the meal at all.

It was my 5th or 6th time in your restaurant. On this occasion it wasn't as nice as previously. I don't think i willbe coming back. It was quiet but took long for waiting staff to attend to us. Food was nice, ribs and steak was wonderfully done. Chicken wings were very basic. Do not recommend. Service... well I am not sure why was our waitress unpleasant to us. It is not that difficult to be kind to your customers.

It has been a few years since I last visited this restaurant, the whole place has massively improved! We had a cooked breakfast and it was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful, offering a warm welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back- highly recommend!

A totally good experience all round from being welcomed at the door, to our server Ben who was friendly and helpful and made good suggestions regarding wine and desserts. We had the fillet steak and mixed grill, both meals were cooked perfectly - with a standout mention for the steaks which were cooked just how we requested by Keith. We will definitely visit again.

Carole was out fantastic host today. The best roast we’ve had in years! We had the share roast platter. The roast potatoes were unbelievable and crispy and melted in your mouth. Chicken like Nandos and lovely sliders of beef. Lovely stuffing and pig in blanket plus we ordered the best cauliflower cheese I’ve ever had! The gravy was also fantastic and you can ask for more gravy and roast potatoes!! Cheese cake dessert was very nice. Will be coming back for a roast again and again!!!

Visited the venue on a Friday night with my family. We sat in the bar area and were served all night by James, whom delivered great customer service. Very friendly and efficient whilst remaining professional. The childrens menu offers great portion sizes and all drinks are reasonably priced. A huge thank you to James and we will certainly return.

Went for dinner as a family of 8. Food was good. Staff were very polite and helpful. Chloe who was our server was rushed off her feet, despite this she was very helpful and still made us feel welcome and made time to chat with us.

We were a party of 8 having Sunday roast at Sir Thomas Wyatt. The place is nice, service was great and food was served hot and it was gorgeous. Portions were very generous and we all loved the meal.

Staff were very nice and always fairly quiet and relaxing hence why we changed from harvester to beefeater, but that was only good points unfortunately on this visit , chef needs to tell the difference between well done and medium rare , egg was so snotty I couldn’t pick it up with fork , was all cooked to much and bland apart from sausages which were lovely. Then found out after I had to pay for peppercorn sauce which I thought was free . They did over free drinks which was nice but declined as already had drinks but at least they offered . Will go back again just in case the chef was on community service or something and was just an off day

Sorry I have had to remove 1 star. Have eaten in here for years and have generally always been very happy with the food and service. Had a meal this evening which was fine and staff were very nice but when I arose from my seat, I was very surprised to see what I had been sitting on(please see attached photo). The staff here all work extremely hard, a bit of head office management support /training along with building TLC would not go a miss. Please be aware Beefeater have had some unbeatable deals over the summer months as an example any two main meals for £12, yes that's correct. Update 27/09/2022 Please see last photograph for new house white wine very fruity and quite pleasant. Had a great meal (probably one of the best we have had in the Sir Thomas Wyatt , hopefully if we get a similar experience I will increase the star rating.

Food was excellent, can't fault it. However, blue badge parking bays are at the front of the building while the step free entrance is at the back of the building and not clearly sign posted. Impossible to walk the distance from parking bay to step free entrance. This clearly needs a rethink, the disabled bays should be positioned by the step free entrance and clearly sign posted. Staff and meals can't be faulted though, highly recommend.
