Lovely, modern cafe with very friendly staff :) We had a yummy breakfast with really nice fresh bread. Some fun drinks including lotus biscuit latte and yummy smoothie! We even bought some cake to take home as it looked so delicious. Will definitely be back again!

Excellent English breakfast for my Italian friends. And my daughter had the crayfish salad. Very impressed, thank you!

Haven’t been to the Post Office Cafe in about 3 years. My experience here was mixed. Firstly, the woman serving me was a bit funny with me, seemed impatient when I needed to ask my partner if we wanted to eat in or take away. Then seemed to be annoyed that I said we wanted to eat in but have everything in a takeaway bag (in case we wanted to head off as we had our baby with us). The second thing that wasn’t great was the pricing of what you get in there, it seems rather extortionate for what you get. The third issue was the milkshake I got. I paid £4.20 for a large milkshake which was tasteless and was filled with foam. The ironic thing was that on the side of the cup it says ‘thick shake’. It was anything but and for that price it was pretty awful. The positives were that it is nice inside with a lot of seating, it’s dog friendly and one of the employees offered to grab some water for our dog which we really appreciated. I feel there’s a lot for them to work on but it’s not bad. I think with the reviews and hearing from others about how good it is usually, we were expecting it to be better.

Just met with friends at The Old Post Office Coffee House to say goodbye before they set off on their travels. It was fantastic, really fresh and lots of variety. They even catered for my partner who is gluten intolerant. Very impressed. Good value for the money. I will be back and can highly recommend high tea here!

Just been to the new cafe in Marden, The Old Post Office Cafe. I enjoyed a lovely jacket potato for lunch, with tea. The staff are very warm, welcoming and friendly. There are a variety of different teas and coffees on offer, if you fancy something sweet then this would appeal to you, plus there are plenty of healthy food options to try too. Well worth the visit, independently run, family cafe, plenty of room upstairs and toilet facilities on site.

Lovely local cafe that also serves alcohol later in the day. Yummy breakfast/lunch options in a lovely casual setting. Friendly staff and good local spot in the hub of the village.

A cute cafe with a great variety of cakes, snacks and hot food! For 8 hungry cyclist, there was more food options than we knew what to do with. The snickers slice was a must have, and alongside a oat milk cappuccino I was more than happy. The staff were very accepting of our disheveled state, and the service was exceptionally quick! Would definitely make a detour to come back again.

I often get lunch here as I work nearby. The food is good quality, albeit a little expensive. I particularly love their milkshakes and baguettes, but I can also recommend the quesadillas and the breakfast burritos. Worth a visit if you're in the area. Also has an eat in area, however I very rarely use this as I only get a set time for lunch.

A hidden gem. Nice range of delicious homemade products. Perfect for a quick snack or a more leisurely lunch. Upstairs offers a nice view of the toing and froing of Marden. Service is very friendly and helpful.

Nice food, nice staff. I wish the ketchup tube was at least half full not almost finish on my table. 5 stars only for perfect experience. A bit pricey.

I used the Old Post Office Coffee House to provide the food for a feed stop at Rolvenden which I was using as part of a charity cycling sportive. Olga kindly met us at the cafe at Marden at 0730 on a Sunday morning so we get the food to Rolvenden for 0830. The food, enough for 100 people, was terrific, - really excellent! Sandwiches, quiche, sausage rolls, cheese straws, brownies and lemon drizzle. We received many, many compliments from the riders about how good the food was. “Better than most weddings I’ve ever been to,” said one. If you want some outside caters then I can’t recommend the OPO highly enough.

You will not regret stopping here. The coffee is perfect and as for the food, wow, you guys have it down to a T. Not a single flaw. Highly recommend this place if you're nearby, passing or just In the area. Good value, you get your money's worth 100% regardless of whatever it is you order

Nice tea. GF toast available. GF cakes available. And delicious. Nice inside and a few tables outside if you'd prefer. Most staff friendly and efficient. One teenage cashier failed to make any eye contact for the whole transaction, but with my face, I'll excuse it. I won't excuse the scrambled eggs, which were not up to scratch. I rate this place highly enough overall to have bought my daughters a voucher for a cream tea.

Went here last week with family. From an accessibility standpoint it's a little difficult for people with mobility issues- on road parking only and main seating area is upstairs. I'm not sure where the toilet is. The Old Post Office offers a great selection of savoury and sweet food...everyone on our table enjoyed it. Loved the decor in there and the coffee shop had a nice, relaxed vibe. Staff there were lovely and the place was immaculately clean on our visit.
