Nice maze at leed castle right next to lawns and kids play areas. Once you get to the middle of the maze, you can exit via the underground grotto!

Such a nice experience, not only for children, but for adults as well. Beautiful view once you arrive in the middle of the maze. On your way out you walk through the grotto, which are beautifully decorated and lighted. It was a pleasure being inside the grotto on such a warm day as it's really cool

Very good maze with a little help on the way round. The underground grotto was very unexpected. Probably one of the best parts about Leeds castle was the maze and the underground grotto. I would get there early though as it got very busy later on in the day as its right next to a kids play area. It's very far away from entrance aswell.

Beautiful place to spend time with your family.., is very little but worth it… the views are lovely from the top of the maze.. the grotto is just a unique cool place

Loved the play area and beach. Maze awful. We were stuck in there for ages . Felt trapped and hated it. The girls are 7 and 3 , but they did not like it much either. Really hot day as well. Personally, I'm never going in the Maze ever again.

Leeds Castle Maze is great fun... I ignored the grotto. The maze hedges are thick and high, you have to do the maze route properly. There are a few clue boards that point you in the general direction as you could go round in circles.

The grotto is beautiful and it was great fun to find the entrance in the meze which takes 10 min. Don't forget to check the "clue".

Brilliant maze. Takes a while to get the the middle. Not easy as you cannot see over the top. Once you get to centre there is an underground route to get out which was a welcome relief after struggling to get to the centre. Bits can get flooded if it rains continuously.

This is one of the most beautiful experiences for a family. The kids will love it. The way to get out is quite slippery so keep that in mind while you walk down. Tip: When you get down in the cave turn on your phone torch and enjoy the ceiling. 🙂

We had a lot of fun trying to figure out the Maze. Our son got to the center first and stood up on the center stone like he was Simba. Taking the stairs down to the Grotto was a bit spooky and then finding the spirit in the walls. There is a little bit of a walk through the cave to come to a natural spring. It's a fun little adventure and activity to do at Leeds Castle.

The Leeds Castle maze is an excellent opportunity to get lost. However, if you are truly lost, there are clues dotted around to help guide you to the centre and the Groto. Providing entertainment for around 20 minutes, it's perfect for adults and children alike. The maze is very well maintained, although it can be muddy following heavy rain. The underground Groto is part of the maze and a great feature.

It's the best maze we have been in the UK so far. It's true maze and you can get lost here. Kids loved it. You need to allow at least 30mins to enjoy the maze. But if you are fan of mazes you can spend 1-2 hour here with kids

This is a great maze. Nice tall hedges so you cant look over the top and just enough 'clue' boards to be helpful but not to make it too easy. When you get to the centre there's a raised stone area that offers great views over the surrounding scenery. To exit the maze, you will walk through the underground 'Mysterious Grotto' with spooky mood lighting and sound effects. Overall it was a great experience and well worth a visit if you are in the castle grounds.

Fantastic way to get 5mins peace. I send the kids off in the wrong direction while I went the right way and then stood at the centre giving them 'helpful' hints on where to go.

This was surprising good and worth a listen when visiting Leeds Castle. Something for all the family. Entry fees seem expensive until you find entry tickets last for 12 months. So can keep going back. Kids will love it here. Recommended.

Watched some falconry, looked at the falcons and owls, and took a walk through the maze and grotto. Very cool place to check out. We're don't have kids, but they also have a very nice playground area. We also ate there and the food was better than expected for a castle restaurant.

Really enjoy all of Leeds Castles many attractions. The house is good and the maze is fun. The birds of prey are enjoyable and informative aswell as nice and close for a good veiw. The child's play park is big enough not to feel cramped and having a small toddlers park and a bigger kids park separate is reassuring and safe. The gardens are very attractive and well maintained so overall a great visit and the yearly ticket really makes this a good value for money location
