Really good independent coffee shop in the heart of Maidstone. Excellent coffee good range of food and cakes for a snack, friendly helpfull staff, beats the big coffee chains for quality, service and value hands down. Well worth a visit when you're in Maidstone.

Great cafe with very friendly and helpful staff. Came here for a coffee on a Saturday morning and because it was so cosy and staff were lovely we decided to stay for lunch. Coffees and teas are good and the lunchtime sandwiches are good. Would have preferred a bit more salad in my sandwich and crisps rather than tortillas with sandwiches would be better but bread was fresh and fillings plentiful. I had Brie and cranberry. We shared a brownie and this was fresh and tasty too (although didn’t realise they came warmed up so would have been better if staff had checked we wanted it warmed up). Despite a few criticisms on the food I’ve still given it 5 stars as the (female) staff were so friendly and helpful and happily working - a joy to see. Lovely seating upstairs as well as the tables downstairs.

Looked nice, milkshake was good. Fried breakfast was nice. Young lady waitress needs to be more friendly. Doesn’t really acknowledge you or look at you when she served us. Wouldn’t rush back, which is a shame.

Cake and Coffee heaven. And more variety to suit a taste for exquisitely made food. Bubble Waffles? I'll be back to try 😋👍for sure. Maybe move to Maidstone to be closer 😉.

Stop here for a bite to eat, right in the Center of town, with parking all around. Staff nice and friendly, busy with people, lovely set up with the decorations and art, love the little mouse door☺️ Food was fresh and tasty, price was ok. Good experiences will be back if in the area again Well done

Quality Cake heaven! Not just good value breakfasts but under the guidance of Manager Sarah, Chef Brandon bakes the very best cakes.. period. I had a Black Forest Gateaux and it was absolutely delicious..

More than just a coffee. Excellent customer service and delicious tasting coffee at drinking temperature. Beautiful design of coffee art which shows her expertise. The lady who served me even asked me how I would like the temperature for my latte which was fantastic as normally I get served a coffee too hot to drink from other coffee shops. I don’t live in the area but I will make the effort to go back on a Saturday morning to try other options on the menu. Thank you.

I can't rate this place high enough. The brie and cranberry panini was glorious. The Cappuccino was frothy and beautifully strong. The cake was amazing. The owners are absolutely lovely. And if you ever have somebody faint with you, this is the place to be 😅 the owners were super quick acting and very caring. This is my new regular.

Visit here on my day off most weeks. Throughout the year I have been enjoying a 99 cone most weeks but then more recently Poppy introduced me to the oreo sundae which was amazing and on my most recent visit Lindsay made me one too and said that it may not be as good as the first one. I totally disagree though I thought it was fantastic and really enjoyed. Great business that Sarah has built here with amazing staff to. Look forward to many a visit to come

I recently had a terrible experience that left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. My girlfriend and I visited the establishment with specific ice cream flavors in mind that we wanted into our bubble wraps, which was in the fridge displayed outside but we were met with inflexible and unaccommodating service. Despite the fact that the flavors we wanted were being sold separately, the waitress refused to customize our orders, stating that we could only choose from what was on the menu. We explained that we were willing to pay extra for the flavors we wanted, but our requests fell on deaf ears. We went ahead and ordered two bubble wraps anyway and asked if they could replace the bubble wrap ice cream flavour with the one flavour we wish which was from the display fridge outside at the entry, of course we’ll pay the this as a 2 extra ice creams, but to our dismay, we were served the ice cream we wanted separately. The attitude of the waitress was also incredibly rude and unwelcoming, making us feel like we were a burden to her, after she bring the bubble wraps and ice cream to our table she stated “ENJOY YOUR MESS”.

Lovely place. We asked for ice creams and we've been in UK for almost 10 years and no one had been as generous as them. Each of us had two big scoops and we asked for blueberry/Eton mess and blueberry/chocolate mint and they were really tasty. The expressos were also really good. If we go back to Maidstone, it's definitely a place to return to.

Our first visit impressed us and this will be our regular Maidstone cafe in future. We saw lots of things on the menu that we intend to try. Cake portion sizes are huge! There were lots of menu options for children.

Popped in for tea and cake as they are dog friendly, which seems to be a rare thing in Maidstone. The cakes are gorgeous and the portion sizes are generous. They have a wide variety of hot and cold drinks available. Staff seemed generally helpful and pleasant. Previous bad customer service reviews appear to relate to staffing issues around 2 years ago presumably during the high stress pandemic phase and may have now been resolved, although this is a small business and it would have been good to see some responses from the manager. For the interest of people with disabilities it is worth mentioning that the toilet is upstairs and the stairs are very steep. There is also not room enough in the cafe for a wheelchair user. This last comment was for info only and not a criticism of the cafe, they cannot change the size of building they are in. I would definitely visit again next time I am in Maidstone.

Excellent coffee, friendly staff, and the eggs royal was also fairly good.

Never let down by staff or food and drink at puddings. A good book and a big cup of chai or a chat with staff puts the world to right. You have to try some of their homemade bakes or breakfasts.

The panini was bigger than expect and nicely presented. 2 regular drinks that I thought were large. All in all, I'd go back.

Excellent breakfast and tea ( in a proper cup). They have gluten free options on cakes and lunchs , great friendly service will return.

Lovely hot cuppa Tea and great portion size for the set brekkie. Staff seemed a bit stressed.

Been in here a few times. Substantial portions, nice atmosphere, reasonable prices and good selection of food including some lovely cakes. Only issue is the food isn't always as hot as I'd like
