Shared a happening that happened in this property. A friend visited me for 30 minutes and her car was towed because she did not park in the visitor parking. See the picture of the charge. I moved here two months ago and the agent never told me about the parking restrictions and the danger of parking here. I went to ask the property manager to compensate for my loss. She said - why you did not read the contracts? Everything is mentioned in the contracts. She declined to compensate for my loss. She did not even care if I would write reviews and filed complaints with BBB. Another happening- recently a dead squirrel sat on the grass for several days. I had to call twice before someone removed it. So, expect to receive this kind of service from this place.

Pros: good location, apartments are bigger than newly constructed ones, lots of parking, free heating during winter, got some basic recreation activities like swimming pool, kids park and a very small gym. Cons: Mgmt staff is very very rude, their manager is even worse and might even yell at you in case she is not able to answer your question. the hallways are smelly as they do not take care in cleaning them. the elevators often do not work. the ACs are very old and only make a lot of noise but do not cool the place. dirty laundry area. apartments themselves are very old and not maintained properly both inside and outside. leaks are common. they make moving out of the apartment a real pain. Avoid if you can, as the mgmt staff takes ZERO responsibility of any issues and puts the blame right back on you with a very condescending attitude.

I really wouldn’t recommend moving here. It’s just…dirty and run down. The refrigerators and microwave are completely deplorable when you move in. And the hallway and common areas are not much better. Even the pool is dirty. A film of dirt and debris on the water surface and sharp pebbles on the pool floor. Our microwave handle broke, so maintenance came and replaced the whole door. Cool. But you guessed it, they replaced it with a door that looked like it got pulled out of a landfill. Deplorable condition. There is also no ventilation in the buildings. So you’ll smell every single ethnic meal that gets cooked in every unit. How does management think it’ll go over for them treating tenants so carelessly like that? I will give the complex credit for their maintenance team, super easy to put in a ticket in the app and they come promptly. But that still doesn’t make up for the dirty surroundings. Also wanna add, we did have every intention of renewing another year, it was the complex that sent us a letter, only a mere 2 months before our lease was due, saying that they aren’t renewing leases at this time. So definitely be aware of that, you will be displaced on short notice with no rhyme or reason whatsoever. Extremely unsafe. Thankfully it was just the push we needed to get out and find a complex that is much better all around. Hope this review helps steer you in the right direction!

DO NOT MOVE HERE....MICE and HONEYBEES are in my Apartment. This place has Mice in the apartments. It is 2:00am and I cannot sleep. I had to abandon my bedroom because there is a Mice in there. Worst decision of my life by choosing this apartment. PLEASE BE CAREFUL FIND SOME BETTER PLACE TO LIVE

this apartment complex is INFESTED with ROACHES. Winter time heater not working properly,,hot water issue,,,mouse in home,,,and when you complain to the leasing office they send someone to spray inside the cabinets and nothing else. when you try to break your lease they threaten you with over two month rent in fees. DO NOT rent from here!

I’m so disappointed with property, I went above and beyond to try to make this my next home! I worked Melissa over the past month and she made it seem I was going to get an apartment, I went and paid a debt I had and got an eviction sealed from almost 7 years ago, they went a did very deep credit check, they call me and tell my I don’t qualify because of past credit issues, which were paid! And still got denied! They prolong the possibility of me getting a place, like be straight forward with people whom are looking for their next home! Tell them some rules and regulations in the beginning instead of getting people the run around! It’s not ok to do that to people!! I could have been looking else where instead of having my hopes of moving here!! SMH

If I could give zero stars, I would. They deserve a negative star rating, and several of their employees deserve prison time. Glen Oaks evicted my family after stealing more than $16,000 from us. They allegedly had us on a month to month lease but never sent over the documents for us to sign, resulting in us being forced into giving rent payment every month without a legal lease in place until they decided to evict us in November of 2023. We are currently building a lawsuit against them for this, and several separate lawsuits for other things such as failing to maintain functional heat during the winter and allowing rats and roaches to infest the entire apartment building, resulting in my wife's cat dying from rabies and my wife ending up in the emergency room due to the cold weather making her anemia flare up. There was also black mold in the basement laundry room, which was, at one point, so bad that my wife, who is asthmatic, would cough up blood and have an asthma attack whenever she went downstairs to do laundry. There was also an incident where one or more of the tenants stole over $2,000 of clothes and laundry from other tenants, not to mention over $3,000 of packages from myself alone. Management refuses to put cameras in the lobbies to deter criminals and to watch over the mailboxes. We have several lawsuits that we are building against this company. Do not, I repeat; DO NOT rent here. The management company and the landlord are all criminals. Also, for the record, I am not the only former tenant, or even the first tenant in general, to sue the company. Edit: The prior review from Mannish Boy is also mine. That is my old Google account. These people are criminals.

Nice, quiet community. Homes have new appliances and the community staff is very polite. Regular updates are made to equipments and building structures. Queries used to take a lot of time to be resolved but the new maintenance people are very quick in responding and fixing things in case of any issues.

DO NOT MOVE HERE, MELISSA is worst manager I’ve ever met in my entire life, she really arrogant and disrespectful. She don’t know how to talks with tenants. From my point of view Melissa will make all the tenants go away cause of her behavior. If someon has an idea to move in the place redo your mind, the place itself not even worth to stay in roaches, trash, and strong smell all over this place, the carpet really dirty stains over the carpet, inside elevator always smell plus gone have Mellisa to disrespect you on the top your sweaty money. She’s not professional at all… staying away this place, this place not a good condition to be living in.. your package will always get lost and then when try report it to staff they just shake their shoulders on you make feel like you stupid by reporting that…

The good is that in-unit maintenance requests are usually always timely and that there are no issues with heat. However the bad makes it difficult to recommend this place to anyone. The interior common areas are in terrible shape making it borderline embarrassing bringing guests over. Carpets and walls are disgusting especially in the elevator. much of this is on other residents as I have found full bags of chips completely spilled and left there without attempt to clean it up. Roaches are commonplace and can often found in the laundry room occasionally in the machines . To their credit management does take efforts to curb this but still a ongoing issue. Doors are left wide open and packages are often stolen. Amenities are a joke the gym is only open during office hours so if you work 9 to 5 good luck getting in.
