Spiaggia di Citara

Spiaggia bellissima, peccato per l’affollamento di gente. Mare molto bello e vista spettacolare. Ci sono molte onde in questa parte dell’isola, soprattutto in questa spiaggia. Mi sono divertito parecchio a nuotare “in mezzo” a queste onde, un’esperienza che consiglio assolutamente.

Ładna plaża, piasek gruboziarnisty, woda czysta. Doskonale miejsce na zachód słońca.

Molto bella.....un pò caotica. Comunque vale la pena andarci..

Beach is nice. Busy but not so much that it gets annoying.

We found the only free beach after a long bus ride. The water is cloudy because of the sand. Otherwise beautiful environment and nature. Great summer temperatures. I recommend buying a lot of packaged water and ice cream :).

There are also a lot of fish in the water and they're not scared of humans at all. A nice free beach in Forio where we found a very interesting fumarole with hot water, where we walked, enjoyed the sunset. It’s a very small beach so it’s busy all day. There’s parking spaces , a bus stop with taxis too, and there are a lot of restaurants. one of the most beautiful sunset you’ll ever see. The water is cloudy because of the sand. Otherwise beautiful environment and nature. There are rocks just beneath the surface, invisible due to muddy water full of kelp. The sand is coarse, the water is clear but full of jellyfish. There are a lot of waves in this part of the island, especially on this beach.

My favorite beach in Ischia. Initially I thought, the water might be too cold to swim in in June. But it was perfectly fine and refreshing. There are also a lot of fish in the water and they're not scared of humans at all. The waves were not too strong, so it's a good place for swimming. The sand is soft and not pebbly.

A nice free beach in Forio where we found a very interesting fumarole with hot water, where we walked, enjoyed the sunset and relaxed and also enjoyed a short but very efficient back massage session done on the beach by a Vietnamese lady. For your own wellbeing, I recommend you not to refuse it 😀

The beach is divided into two parts. One is owned by the Poseidon Baths and is very pricy. There are 4 rows of parasols and each row has a different price. I had to pay 32 Euros for a parasol in the second row. There are showers and clean toilets here. The smaller part of the beach is a free beach but extremely crowded. Otherwise the sand and the water are clean and the nearby mountain gives the scenery a nice touch. I enjoyed bathing here.

Beautiful beach and landscape, but there were too many algae and the shoreline was decidedly steep.

Mostly crowded but beautiful beach! There is a lot of shops, bars & restaursants nearby.

I’ve visited ischia two times now and I keep coming to this beach, It’s easy to reach by bus,car or just walking and it has all the necessary things . There’s parking spaces , a bus stop with taxis too, and there are a lot of restaurants/cafes and a few little shops . It’s a very small beach so it’s busy all day but since I stay in the water a lot that doesn’t bother me. What makes it nice to swim here it’s that there’s a few rocks that you can swim too which are not too far away and with many fish surrounding them. As a swimmer i find it very nice that you can also swim about 1-2km to the end of the bay without going too deep.

One of the best beaches on the island! We used the free beach side, and helped ourselves to the nearby café for quick snacks and toilet. No showers. But one of the most beautiful sunset you’ll ever see! Also very clean water, ideal for snorkelling.

Sempre molto bello, peccato che le mareggiate hanno eroso la spiaggia negli anni La roccia ed i graniti hanno una colorazione che tende al verde, molto caratteristica e peculiare

Nice beach. Crystal clear water, beach itself isn’t polluted, the view is nice. The one can watch a sunset here.

La spiaggia, libera, è piccola ma molto carina. È il posto ideale dove fare il bagno se si è in vacanza in mesi come settembre, quando le spiagge non sono eccessivamente affollate.
