It was a wonderful lodging experience. I will introduce the specific good points in chronological order to bullet points. ・Communication on the Airbnb app was quick and very polite. ・Even though the scheduled check-in time was much past the scheduled check-in time (it was scheduled for 20:00, it was around 22:30), they kindly responded without making a single unpleasant face. ・When I was lost because I didn't know where the entrance was, you walked outside in the cold to pick me up and guide me. ・While retaining the charm of an old folk house with a lot of atmosphere, there was a sense of cleanliness with cleanliness pervading every corner. ・All amenities, pajamas, etc. are provided. ・The representative, Mr. Nobori, is a former Yodobashi Camera salesman (he was the top seller in Japan for three years in a row), and with his wonderful conversational skills, he talked about the charm of Tsukuba and the traditions passed down at the former Kobayashi residence. ・As it is located halfway up Mt. Tsukuba, the scenery and views are spectacular. The early morning sunrise was spectacular. ・The staff are full of playfulness, such as building a DIY bath while raising money through crowdfunding, and the staff enjoy their work more than anyone else. All in all, it was a wonderful stay experience. I would love to come again.

A guesthouse where you can experience the real Tsukuba. The young owner took over an old folk house (formerly Kobayashi-tei) and is running it with the hope of promoting the charm of Tsukuba and letting people experience the charm of Tsukuba.

It's on the way up to Mt. Tsukuba, so the view is good, and the old folk house has been renovated and is stylish. A calm Japanese vacation time with a gentle manager. It's also good to go alone with a laptop in hand. It was a very nice place.

An old private house located halfway up Mt. Tsukuba! Former Kobayashi Residence Motoki (stayed in February 2022) charm ・Spectacular view! ・Fashionable by renovating an old folk house ・Can also be used as a coworking space ・The goat is cute ・The rice is delicious ・Precious old toilets still in use ・Barbecue available history The former Kobayashi residence is the residence of a businessman who also worked on the Mt. Tsukuba cable car. The main building was built in 1891 and the site is 1,600 tsubo. You can stay in a nostalgic merchant house. Recommended for young people who want to stay in a retro inn but are concerned about the facilities, or who want to stay in a stylish inn!

Use a detached coworking space for a work training camp meeting. Main building at night. We had dinner listening to the sounds of insects at the table on the dirt floor, and then went to bed. All in all, it was a very pleasant time.

I used it for my overnight stay. In addition to lodging, they also offer coworking, so I have used them many times. ``A stylish old folk house that will make you want to go back to detox your mind.'' [Location] This is an old folk house at the foot of Mt. Tsukuba, so the view overlooking the world below is the best. The view from the garden is outstanding both day and night. [Interior/Atmosphere] There are hanging scrolls, storehouses, dirt floors, old-fashioned stairs, and other pieces of art dotted around the space that will make you feel like you've traveled back in time, creating a mysteriously harmonious atmosphere that can only be experienced at Jinjiki. Although it is a quiet and calming place, it is an extraordinary and creative space. 【room】 It's spacious, beautiful, and has a great view, making you want to be active early in the morning. There is no noise at all, so you can enjoy the quiet nights of Mt. Tsukuba. 【meal】 The food prepared by the owner, Mr. Nobori, is also delicious. Since he also runs a restaurant, we were able to enjoy the delicate and beautiful dishes that you wouldn't expect from his smiling face. I'm also happy that Mr. Nobori joins me for drinks! [Workation] We also do co-working in the detached house, and the internet environment is comfortable. It's a great place to work and I've used it many times. There are many people who use it for long periods of time for workdays. [Location] This is a bit difficult. That's why it's good. Driving up the narrow roads of Mt. Tsukuba, first-timers may wonder, ``Is this the right place?'' But that's exactly why I want to go again. I want to go there even if I live nearby. However, it is actually in a hidden location where you can reach the hot spring town of Tsukuba just a short walk up the mountain. I think I will go again soon!

We had a great time with the wonderful scenery, carefully prepared meals, and friendly interactions with the owners and staff! Although I visited by myself, I was happy that I was able to get to know other customers in close proximity and enjoy meeting them while traveling. (Of course, you can also spend your time quietly and leisurely.) The owner seems to be working on various initiatives to revitalize the area, and I would like to continue to support him.
