Regarding the birthplace of Seimei Abe, who was famous all over the country as an onmyoji, the Takamatsu family in Osaka, Sanuki, and the Nekojima district of Akeno in Chikusei city, and the old family of the Mearu Honto family in the Yoshio village in the Yago district of Ishioka city, are the birthplaces of Abe Seimei. It is said to be the birthplace of Seimei. There is an anecdote about Seimei Abe who, as a young man, was on his way to Kashima Jingu Shrine when he rescued a snake from children who were bullying it, and was given a ``Uyaku'' by the Dragon King that allowed him to understand the voices of birds. It is said that he heard about the cause of the Emperor's illness through a story about a bird, cured it, and became famous all at once.

The exhibits are well organized, but I don't think they are what I expected...I felt a little disappointed.

I thought it would be more like a museum, so I took a look, but I was disappointed because there wasn't anything on display.

You can open it yourself and enter unattended. There are exhibits on one floor, but it seems like there are also things unrelated to Abe Seimei kept in storage...I felt a little lonely lol There was a sunflower event going on at the time, and I was with someone who came to see the sunflowers, and I couldn't park my car nearby because I couldn't park at the door, so I'd like to tell you that I'll look into the event information. If it's not summer, you should probably be able to park within a 1-2 minute walk, but there's also a children's park attached, so you might want to avoid it on Saturdays and Sundays.

I felt strange in the dimly lit building with no staff in attendance... When I went through the automatic door, I found the exhibits to be too shabby compared to the building (I don't hate Onmyoji, so I was even more shocked).
