何年か前にお詣りさせていただいた時は、境内も駐車場も狭小感があったのですが、2020/11/22のお詣りのときには、周囲の環境が整備されていてびっくりしました。
ちょうど七五三の時期で、境内は一種、三密（身口意の密ではありません）って、真言信徒にしか、わかりませんか？、、、、。
しかしわれら日本人、こちらの境内に一歩入ると、そんなことも忘れてしまうような、とにかくお詣りをしたいという強い気持ちを感じました。
真言宗豊山派のお寺さん
用明天皇2年 （587年）に、大陸より渡来し、帰化したという法輪独守居士により開基。
厄除延命安産子育 を司る延命観世音菩薩をご本尊して、古くから近郷近在の善男善女を集める。
人が多い中、おおむね小一時間ほど境内を行き来し、おめでたい方々のご利益を分けていただこうと、本堂前でお祓い・お焚き上げに参加させていただきました。
その後、にぎやかな境内の上、水子観音さまもお詣りさせていただきました。
無事今生に生まれ出た命もあれば、彼岸から彼岸に渡ってしまった命もある。どうしても避けられない人の運命であるのですが、しかし、観音さまの前でしみじみ考えてしまいました。
そうそう、客殿をお詣りしている際、こんな華やかな雰囲気の中、不祝儀の方々とすれ違いました。
がしかし、これが浮世の現実、生死は表裏一体、一瞬、こころが、スッとなりました。
何か行事や花見・もみじ狩りとかがなければ、お昼くらいの到着でいいと思います。
何かの季節のときは、9：30から10：00の到着が、駐車場も十分にありよいかと思います。
トイレの数が少ないですね。寺務所の中ですが、ちょっと場所がわかりずらいです。
お焚き上げとかは、事前に予約していった方が、かなり時間の節約になりますね。
