Jeanine our host planned everything for us meticulously from the first moment of our enquiry till our departure. It could have been disastrous with a group of 21 people ranging from 2 to 89 years in age. The accommodation has plenty to offer and the personal touch of the host is tangibly warm and welcoming. . Super comfy accommodation with added extras just to make your stay a wonderful experience. Cotton sheets and squishy pillows. A selection on cereals, fresh milk, filter coffee and some fresh fruit. Even pretty towels and lovely hot water. Jeannine was amazing. Standing in the rain just to help us. Thank you for making us so welcome.

Lovely clean and convenient accommodation. The parking is a tight squeeze and not for the faint hearted.

Lovely little cottage. We were in the 5-sleeper and the second bedroom was a bit cramped with two, three-quarter beds in it. But the main bedroom was a nice size. There was also a sleeper couch in the lounge which wasn't THAT comfortable, but I'd recommend no more than three people in this unit for great comfort. Wonderful shower. Very, VERY beautiful garden and swimming pool!

What a wonderful place. This has been our home away from home for three months. Through rainy cold days and hot summer days this beautiful cottage has been a superb accommodation. Clean and comfortable. Our two years son loved his room and spent hours looking at the birds in the garden. Thank you Jeannine. We're going to miss the Applebee cottage.

Lovely accommodation and we loved the heated blankets. The little touches, like the filtered water in the fridge were really appreciated. Well worth staying at.

Beautiful clean comfortable rooms. Hostess is very accommodating. Added bonus of electric blankets and fresh milk for my coffee. I travel a lot - this is by far one of the nicest places I have stayed in.

The services provided by Jeannine, Tony and other staff on the grounds was beyond exceptional. They communicate well, pay attention to detail and are ever kind! Applebee is well located, close to the city centre and supermarkets. A simple, complimentary breakfast was provided and fresh, drinking water was provided daily. Wi-fi and a generator were also made available. Our stay was amazing and very comfortable! Definitely worth a re-visit.
