The house is a beautiful house, probably recently renovated. The rooms are on the first floor, no elevator. There is a shared balcony area where you can sit. Rooms are spacious and clean. There is a very comfortable king bed, some space to put your stuff, a shower with hot water and a western style toilet. Regarding the area, it's close to the central place with the mosques, but still ok when it comes to noise. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, but it is possible to have breakfast at the homestay. There are also lots of shops around. Good wifi as well. We would definitely recommend this place if you stay in Makassar.

I've rarely met a host family so friendly, accommodating and just plain NICE! They were always open for questions and made us feel at home. The rooms are flawlessly clean and the AC works. Value for money and location are perfect. A big recommendation if you're visiting Makassar.

You can choose different type of room: good view with balcony, good wifi connection, 2nd or 3rd floor. You can also order breakfast, Ibu (the host) will cook for you. She also can give recommendations about driver, transportation, or worth places to visit!

Marlah and George are amazing hosts and have a beautiful homestay. We went there on our way to Raja Ampat and were excited to go back to stay one night and meet them again because heading back. It’s clean, nice and they are really arranging and flexible. We felt really at home and very well welcomed. They have a nice breakfast and cooked fantastic banana pancakes. We also appreciated the Christmas decorations! Also a shoutout to Lia who is helping at the homestay, she is lovely and likes to practice her French. Marlah didn’t hesitate to propose to bring us to the airport and we waved until we lost sight of each other. We will definitely love to say hi again in the future and will stay here again. Really recommended!
