1 yr ago: This is our fave place for morning stroll or jog. There are lots of people during Sunday Market. They also have Sunday Mass at 9am in one of the gazebo. Nov 2023: Say hi to the lovely cats of the park 😊

Washington Sycip was a Chinese-Filipino-American accountant who worked diligently throughout his life to better the community around him. He served with honor in the United States armed forces after learning of his father’s imprisonment and later in life had great success in accounting, banking, and financing. I can think of no better way to honor him than to walk under the shade thinking what we can do for one another — to be of service. Compared to Legazpi Active Park this park is far more tranquil with a lot more greenery. The trees are quite lovely, the pond is quaint, plenty of spaces to sit & eat a meal; plus, large enough for a moderate paced walk. It has a cute vibe where you could bring someone after a meal for a good saunter under the shade. There is some “art” that is pleasant to observe. It gets hot here in Manila but with a place of respite like this it’s something that can be endured.

This is a very nice place to take a walk. You can also jog here although the path was not primarily designed for jogging. There are a lot of trees and a pond. If you want to sit and feel nature, there are benches and gazebos within the park. There is no restroom/comfort room/toilet here, but if you need one, you have to go to Legazpi Active Park, which is just right across from it.

This incredible park is my favorite afternoon hangout with my dog. It has a lot of benches where we can sit back and relax. There are pathways for people who enjoy brisk walking or jogging. There is a pond full of koi fish where kids can watch. Every tree here has been labeled for educational purposes. The best time to go here is at 2 pm when there are few people. It has a covered area the weather is too sunny or rainy. The cool breeze also soothes our inner spirit. You can also do your home workout here. The perfect place to find the Zen.

Probably the last remaining unspoiled patch of greenery located in Legaspi Village, Makati City. A breath of fresh air in this concrete jungle, literally as it was fresh and calming place. Hope they keep it that way. Washington SyCip was a visionary of his time and cares about our future. Bless his soul.

A walk in the park✔️ “Nature surrounds us, from parks and backyards to streets and alleyways. Next time you go out for a walk, tread gently and remember that we are both inhabitants and stewards of nature in our neighborhoods.” – David Suzuki At Washington SyCip Park, you get to relax and be close to nature without leaving the city. Aside from the usual jogging trail, the park also boasts of a Crane and Turtle Garden. The park is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. #LVPMoment✔️

It's a very good and menaingful initiative to plant new grass, but new grass also requires tender loving care early on. Many patches of soil are bare again due to no regular watering in all sections. The water hose is usually left to run continuously in one area - leading to an overflow of water in a small area and into the drain, while other areas are very dry. Just a concerned Makatizen sharing my observations. 🙂

Nestled in the heart of Makati, Washington Sycip Park is an urban oasis that beckons with tranquility and greenery. As I strolled through the park, I was captivated by its serene ambiance and well-maintained surroundings. The park's landscape design seamlessly blends natural elements with urban aesthetics, providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling city life. Washington Sycip Park boasts a variety of indigenous plants, creating a harmonious environment that invites visitors to unwind and reconnect with nature. One of the notable features of the park is its well-manicured garden adorned with vibrant blooms and lush foliage. The carefully curated greenery serves as a picturesque backdrop, adding to the park's allure. Walking along the meandering pathways, I couldn't help but appreciate the thoughtful layout that encourages leisurely strolls and quiet contemplation. The centerpiece of the park is the tranquil pond, home to a variety of aquatic life. The gentle ripples on the water's surface added to the overall serenity, creating a perfect spot for reflection and repose. Benches strategically placed around the pond provide a quiet refuge for park-goers seeking solace amidst the greenery. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, Washington Sycip Park also pays tribute to its namesake with a statue honoring Washington Z. Sycip, a prominent figure in the Philippine business community. The statue stands as a testament to his contributions and serves as an inspiring focal point within the park. For those seeking a brief escape from the urban hustle, Washington Sycip Park offers a haven of tranquility. The well-designed space, lush greenery, and serene pond make it an ideal destination for a leisurely afternoon stroll or a peaceful respite. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or simply in need of a quiet sanctuary, this park provides a refreshing retreat in the heart of Makati.

Good place for a quick run or a brisk walk to clear out your mind.🤯 Park is well maintained, well lighted and has a roving guard to keep the people safe and remind to keep distance. They started putting in "Christmas Lights" which makes you feel "hopeful" despite the reality of covid 19. Face Mask is still required while running 😷🏃‍♀️👟

Lots of large trees, shady and cool. They even have placards signifying the tree species. Lots of trees native to the Philippines such as the beautifully-patterned Bagras or Rainbow gum (Eucalyptus deglupta) and our National Tree the Narra (Pterocarpus indicus). Not too far is the Legazpi Sunday Market, open every Sunday morning 7am to 2pm.

I love the Washington Sycip Park in Makati. It is a beautifully designed park with plenty of trees. I love taking a walk there around noon time to enjoy the green and the breeze. Unfortunately there are a few irresponsible dog owners who frequent the park have left dog poo all around the walk path uncollected. This has brought inconvenience to visitors of the park. Another thing I noticed for 2 days is the contracted workers in the park will turned on water hose and left it running on the ground while she sat on the bench and chit chatting. Water was left running for more than 40 minutes and still running when I left the park. I think she is very irresponsible to waste water resource in that way. I am hoping Ayala Land will do something about it if the park is to sustain its purpose and its beauty to continue serving the community.

(Translated by Google) 🏞️🎋🎏 Little gem. The Washington park in Makati is small (not a park) but nice. There are the Japanese bamboo, the Japanese carp, the Japanese Zen ponds ... But it is mainly frequented by Filipinos and Chinese (strange ... Maybe all Japanese people don't like Japanese people?) seven and a half minutes at a fast pace .. sixteen minutes chasing my feet .. 😜 (Original) 🏞️🎋🎏 Piccolo gioiello. Cmq molto cool e molto piccolo si gira completamente in sette minuti e mezzo a passo veloce.. sedici minuti ciancicando I piedi.. 😜

We love this park! While it is a short drive from where I actually live parking has been easy on weekends. My furry friends actually love it and they get a chance to mingle. It is one of the remaining green open spcaes in the area and is very well maintained. Its clean and tidy all the time and up keep works are always visible. There is a pond and toilets for comfort.

One of the very few green places in the business district of Makati. Residents with the city and employees getting off work to go here mainly to exercise or to meet with some friends or to be alone to relax in this concrete jungle of an area. You'll often see a lot of people running around even if the space is quite limited along with people walking their dogs.
