Should
we
now
say,
“Move
over,
Cyma”
as
Akrotiri
is
now
here
in
Makati...and
this
is
the
closest
you
get
get
for
a
real
Greek
resto
this
side
of
town!
While
the
place
is
still
in
its
soft
opening
mode
(no
credit
card
accepted
yet!),
you
can
already
feel
(and
taste)
that
great
surprises
are
about
to
come...think
Trojan
horse
entering
Troy!
The
food
tastes
(almost)
authentic
Greek...with
all
the
herbs
and
spices
combining
to
amaze
your
taste
buds.
The
place
has
a
taverna
feel
including
the
piped
in
Greek
music
(everything
sounds
so
Greek!)
the
food
selection
is
good,
from
traditional
Greek
starters,
hot
or
cold,
to
main
dishes
of
meat,
fish
or
seafood,
to
gyros
to
dessert
to
coffee!
(coffee
not
bad
but
could
be
more
better).
The
price
is
reasonable
(I
had
the
Greek
version
of
risotto
and
omelet-
sorry
guys
but
the
exact
names
of
the
dishes
can
be
tongue
twisters
and
hard
to
memorize!)
and
the
service
is
great!
Now
let’s
all
make
a
wish
to
all
Greek
gods
and
goddesses
(or
even
include
Roman
god
Jupiter
for
whom
the
street
where
this
resto
is
located
was
named
after)
that
this
place
will
endure
here
for
a
long
,
long
time
same
as
that
of
the
Parthenon
in
Athens!
