Came here for the Peking duck but was disappointed. The duck was dry and the skin was as if it was cooked in an air fryer. However, the crispy seafood noodles was excellent! The century egg and jellyfish also great. Honorable mention to the har gow too. Staff are attentive and quick to assist with any request.

Really good Chinese restaurant in Makati, serving cantonese-style dishes. Food tasted authentic and was well-seasoned. (Details in captions) Prices are a little on the expensive side but servings are large and are meant for sharing with a group. Service was excellent, food came out at a reasonable pace given the amount that was served. Staff were knowledgeable and very accommodating. Ambience was nice, although the restaurant does show its age. Overall, really good place for “classic” Chinese food.

Lousy service now as compared to how it used to be. And the servers didn't even bother to check up on us. We had to regularly ask for table napkins, water refill, etc. The food though was mediocre okay. It could be improved.

We had the worst experience given its price point. The customer service here is so poor. The waitress didn’t even bother to ask us what drinks we want or dessert. The menu that was given to us doesn’t include it, so we’re guessing they have a different menu for that. They didn’t even bother to give us water and we need to ask for it. The mapo tofu was a meh for us, doesn’t have any spice at all. Their infamous prawns in salted egg that the waitress mentioned that was a best seller it not good as well. We also don’t like the asado. Binondo restaurants can offer more authentic Chinese food compared to this restaurant. The only good thing about this restaurant is the large serving but it doesn’t matter if the food doesn’t taste good. We are not going back to this place and I don’t recommend it.

We had a family lunch at Jade Garden. The restaurant has a classical Chinese restaurant ambiance. The service was great as the staff were knowledgeable about the dishes. The food was great. The duck meat was really juicy while the skin was crispy. Other items on the menu were as they should be as well. The price, compared to other known Chinese restaurants in the city was, in my opinion worth it since at the very least, Jade Garden's dishes taste as they should. (Had an experience in another known restaurant where the Mapo Tofu didnt have Sichuan Peppercorn). All in all, I'd say this Cantonese restaurant is worth it.

Dined here for my dad's birthday celebration. Jade Garden is known as an institution already. And with its longevity comes familiarity. Food will be on the pricey side, but you get your money's worth. Food is good and quality is great. Families dine here to celebrate special occasions. Service is also top notch as there are multiple servers to refill your glass or to replace your plate when needed. As for atmosphere and ambience the decor seems dated, but it still has the feel of a high end restaurant.

We had food delivered to our home before and ate here a couple of times already. From private birthday celebrations to dates, food is always great and service is top notch. Food: Simple but cooked properly with each of our visits. Chef and the team must be very disciplined. Service: Staff are attentive and efficient. Price: Somewhat pricey but worth it in my opinion. Serving size is big so better to come with family. Will recommend and will come back again.

Authentic Chinese cuisine. Dishes are delivered quickly and quality is very good. However, last New Year's Eve, both quality and service declined somewhat due to the large number of customers. Best to go on a regular day. Still recommended.

Food was okay. One of our orders were peking duck, 1 way. we had leftovers and our waiter didnt even ask if we would like to take out ours. We also forgot to ask for it. In other restaurants like Hai shin lou and Gloria Maris, they would put the duck on the table and ask if we would like to bring it home.

Very lovely Chinese restaurant on the second floor, they have elevator. I was there for a family gathering and it was first time I had been in almost 9 years. They have a very extensive fancy (code for pricey) menu. The food is good, the service was excellent with several folks hovering nearby to clear dishes, refill tea pots and bring dishes out as prepared. The restaurant is good sized and able to accommodate most any sized party. Staff was efficient and pleasant.
