We like to stay here very much. The enviroment is calm and nice with lots of plants and birds. The host was amazing. She blew us with her kindness and delicious food.

This place was recommended to us by one of the people in our group chat from the Tuk Tuk rental company. We love it! The host was super friendly! They even gave us a welcome drink! I picked milk tea. The hot tea was served in a cute teapot set with milk and sugar on the side. It was really good! The room was really clean and spacious! It has a large, relaxing lounge area as well! You have your own private restroom with a hot shower. It also has a small sofa! It even has a hair dryer! It is like a luxury homestay! It is within a walking distance to Little Adam’s Peak, the Nine Arch Bridge and downtown Ella. The Sri Lankan breakfast was amazing! They were super on time! Also noted that we got to the homestay around 11AM and the room was already ready for us! Amazing! There is a small mini fridge with drinks in the room for you to purchase. There is no AC, however there is a fan in the room. This area is cool so there is no need for AC and the fan did keep the room cool. Also note that we are here in late November. Highly recommended!

I can highly recommend this accomodation, rooms are clean and comfy, host is super nice and you can enjoy breakfast at the terasse every morning. Also its just few minutes to the city centre and no problem with parking nearby. I would stay there again! 🙂

I can't even describe how good the place is! After first day in Ella in other place, which was basically a disaster, Dhanudi Homestay was like a salvation! Clean room with all the amenities you want, close to the center (they have a shortcut to the main road). Hot water, many outlets (also with european slots and USBs), kettle, hairdryer, etc., if you want they can do your laundry also! Breakfast was amazing, fresh juices and fresh food. I could say more good things about the place, but just come and try it by yourself! :)

Spacious and clean room with a nice bathroom. Breakfast is served on your own private terras. Just 5 minute walk to the center. I would definitely recommend it if you were looking for something close to the center but also just far enough to sleep through the night.

This place was our favorite in Sri Lanka. The host was a very kind lady that helped us with everything and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. One person in our group was sick and she gave us a local medicine to take with us. The rooms are very clean, confortable and with great bathrooms. Big recommendation !

Amazing place and super kind people! Dhanudi Homestay is definitely one of the best place that we found in Sri Lanka. The room was super clean and comfortable. We had the room with the "less" nice bathroom but trust me, it was absolutely clean. We loved to have a nice balcony where we could enjoy our breakfast and relax. It's just 10 minutes far from the centre (walking distance). Nirosha (the lovely host) made a delicious and vegan breakfast for us! Don't hesitate to stay here, everything is perfect ❤️

By far, this is the most well equiped place we’ve ever stayed. They have torches, umbrellas, fridge, first aid kit, mosquito repellents… I mean, everything we needed, they had it in the room - which, by the way, is really confortable too. Also, Nirosha is a fantastic host and an incredible cook! We still dream with her breakfast (and try to have a dinner there, its great) and always remember how toughtful she is with her guests. Definitely is a place we’ll stay again in Ella! Nirosha’s brother in law, Indika, is a great guy and can help you with tours, tickets and with guidance about What to do, see and eat um town.

A very above average beautiful and clean accommodation. Very obliging and nice hosts. We felt warmly welcome. The accommodation is also well equipped. In addition to a mosquito net and automatic fan also a small fridge with drinks, a kettle and tea to brew yourself. Furthermore some pretty handy things like a flashlight we could use and an umbrella. Also the bathroom was very well equipped with soaps, creams, a hairdryer and a hot water shower. We spent three very pleasant nights in the Dhanudi Homestay and got a very tasty homemade breakfast. Thank you very much for that.

If you want to have a central and clean homestay in Ella, then stay here! Nine arch bridge and little Adam's peak are acessible by foot.

Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Comfortable mattress. Close to the center but not on the main road so it is very quiet and offers a good night sleep. Well located to walk to Nine arch bridge and little adams peak. Would defenetly stay again.

The location of the room has a superb view of the mountain area. We were well attended by Nirosha and her family. They were very friendly and accommodating sharing with us the feel of Sri Lankan hospitality. The food serve were great as well.Overall experience is excellent.

Great homestay. The owner is extremely helpful and kind. Always making sure that you are having the best time. Breakfast is great... you can choose on the previous day and is freshly cooked in the morning for the time that is more convenient to us. They even arranged the rest of our trip... including private car and safari in Udawalawe :) the bed is huge and very comfy. It is located near town but it's all silent as it is not on a main road so we enjoyed a peaceful night.

This is a fantastic homestay with a comfy private room with a big bed and spacious bathroom. There is hot water and hairdryer and wifi and its perfectly comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful and has multiple options, it can be served any time. And the host is really lovely and kind. A room for 2 nights cost us c.£40 inc breakfast so great value. HOT TIP: This is hard to find using Google Maps if you're walking so best way is to map BBQ HUB and then continue past this and look for a small road uphill with a sign for Dhanudi Homestay. Its a slight rocky walk up this hill and steps and then you are there.

What a beautiful place to stay. We stayed for two nights. The room was exceptionally clean, very modern. The host was absolutely lovely, very accommodating and gracious. A massive SL breakfast was provided. Absolutely delicious. 5 minute walk into town centre, 15 minutes walk to 9-arches. Would definitely recommend staying here.
