The
front
desk
guys
(both
day
and
night)
deserve
a
5/5
for
how
collected
they
were,
dealing
with
this
monstrosity
of
a
place.
They
continued
smiling,
were
polite,
and
helpful.
All
the
other
comments
you've
seen
about
the
elevator
is
true.
"It's
a
nightmare"
were
the
exact
words
of
3
other
guests
we
bumped
into
while
waiting
for
the
elevator.
The
elevators
were
not
only
used
by
guests,
but
also
the
house-keeping
staff.
We
found
ourselves
in
the
same
elevator
with
the
dirty
laundry
bin
on
our
first
day.
But
that
wasn't
the
worst
experience,
neither
was
the
27
minutes
wait
for
an
elevator.
The
worst
was
4
house-keeping
staff
squeezing
into
a
full
elevator.
We
were
sandwiched,
but
of
course
non
of
us
were
ready
to
get
out
and
wait
another
27
minutes.
We
got
to
our
room
and
found
the
bathroom
floor
wet
and
dirty,
no
door
mat,
no
towels.
We
called
the
front
desk
and
they
got
house
keeping
to
our
room
almost
immediately.
He
was
a
foreign
national,
we
spent
a
good
10
minutes
explaining
that
we
wanted
the
floor
dry.
But
he
did
a
good
job.
There
was
a
balcony,
and
cigarette
butts
all
over
it.
The
linens
appeared
clean,
but
the
sofa
was
stained—someone
certainly
had
an
exciting
night
on
the
sofa.
The
room
is
badly
lit—if
you're
in
Malacca
for
business
and
might
need
to
take
a
call
or
do
some
work
from
the
room,
this
is
just
not
the
place
you'd
want
to
stay.
The
mounted
bath
tap
does
not
flow
into
the
bathtub!
Mind
you
they
are
both
mounted.
Yes,
you
can
put
the
handheld
in
the
tub
to
fill
the
tub.
But
why
would
anyone
let
this
failed
interior
pass.
There
was
rubbish
all
over
the
floor
outside
our
room,
there
were
no
lights
on
the
corridor
at
night
and
our
room
was
at
the
end
of
the
corridor.
The
pool
is
in
the
middle
of
3
towers,
when
it
gets
busy,
it
is
echoey.
But
we
had
a
pleasant
15
mins
walk
along
the
river
to
Jonker
Street
that
night.
Finding
food
around
this
place
wasn't
a
problem
at
all.
Park
on
level
7
or
8
for
free
parking
and
good
luck
waiting
for
the
elevator!
