I have been going to city Barn since the early 2000’s and will not go else where. Their knowledge is second to none. The quality of their fish is also fantastic and at great prices. Staff especially Zach is extremely well educated in the aquarium industry. Great little shop and a great location.

An excellent place for all your pets needs. I initially visited due to my local post store not having any stock of my pet food. The variety of products was excellent, and prices very good for the quality you receive. I will definitely be back again to browse when I have more time on my hands.

Someone please give Zac a holiday as his customer service is not very good. I really feel he’s probably been in this job far too long as he was not interested in listening to me the customer ask a simple question, especially when it was gonna benefit him. I found him quite unapproachable.

Good fish range

This store is a hidden gem!! I found all the hard to find fish products in this store as a fish keeper. They also have dog/cat/guinea pig/bird/rabbit, and other animal products. Staffs are super friendly!! I was so happy with my purchase!

Went in this afternoon & brought some items for another aquarium we are currently setting up. price was on driftwood tag as $30.50 per 20kg. we paid & looked at receipt after we walked out and realised she charged $30.50 per kg. walked back in to question the price and the older lady that served us said “well no i don’t actually have to do anything about it” (if something is labelled as a price it legally has to be sold for that price). The lady was rude and literally laughed after we said we were not going to return here again. me and my partner have spent so much at city barn and referred family & friends here. We won’t be returning again after this incident. We also have photos of the tag and our receipt. If she was nice about the situation it would not have been a problem.

Great range and prices

Such a great shop. Been shopping here since 2005 their have a beautiful selection of tropical fish. Staff are always friendly and happy to help you. Zach is a great friend of mine and his customer service is amazing.

Absolutely brilliant, couldn't ask for better customer service, but best of all their prices !! I was paying $145 for a 20 Kg bag of quality dry dog food their price for exactly the same was $25 cheaper. Well worth dropping into.

This is where i get all my fish tanks, pumps, heaters, hoses and frozen fish food like blood worms shrimps etc and dry foods. Everything they have in fish is half the price or close to then the place down the road and there advice is based on experience and to help the customer where the other place wants you to spend more and advices accordingly. They sell much more then fish but thats all im interested in. I was sold when i saw the store cat sitting at the front door like it was the boss of the establishment. Doesnt run off it loves the people there. I just come from there after buying a whole bunch of stuff and theres a cat rugged up in blankets in a trolley not for sale. Iv seen the store clerk cradling a baby bunny while serving. You wont regret going in and saying hello.

There range of fish, aquariums, plants, hardscapes is increadable especially since they also sell things for other types of pets aswell. The guys and girls in the fish section really know there stuff and are super helpful. Hundreds spent there so far, hundreds more to come. Keep up the great work!

Friendly staff and big range of pet supplies and fish

City Barn have a wide range of products for most animals including food, cages, grooming aids, toys, ornaments, garden supplies and specialised items. They sell some live animals including budgies, cavies and chickens. They often babysit birds and it can be fun chatting to one of the many galahs being cared for. The staff are super friendly, helpful and knowledgable. They have worked here for years. The only downside is the store is packed with items and can feel a bit cluttered

I have lived in the area for going on 2 years and only recent did I discover CityBarn and I am so thankful that I did! They have a wide range of products, cheaper than most and the staff are fantastic and knowledgeable. By far the best pet store I have been too!

Clean good interior variety of bird toys food cages and accessories large variety of bird items pretty nice and educated staff really helpful and supportive good knowledge on bird topics birds and animals in general kept in mid conditions diet is ok have a large amount of birds tamed and untamed overall good place.

The amount of birds and fish are amazing they are in tip top condition with fair prices I love this place

The staff are always so knowledgeable and friendly. The animals all look so healthy with nice clean enclosures. We love going out the back and talking to the cockatoos. Really nice place to shop for your pet.

Prices are pretty good, generally cheaper than City Farmers. Range is overall very good as well. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's a little cramped, but that's ok because they keep it filled with a much stock as they can. If it was more conveniently close I'd shop there for almost all my pet needs.

We went and bought the family a baby dwarf rabbit today we have never had one before, the manager Ali was a great help getting us set up with everything we needed and it was not as expensive as I first thought it was going to be, if your looking for pet supplies or just some advice about pets or supplies I highly recommend going and seeing them

When I started shopping at City Barn it soon become my go to shop for all my pet needs. The only reason I go elsewhere is because of product availability. I find the pricing to be the best in my area and also great product and staff.

I get mixed experience coming here each time. In terms of the range and price, they’re one of the best in Perth. However, customer service is either great or dismal, really seems to differ depending on who’s working. There are times when you’d come into the store and not a single acknowledgment from staff. Waited a good 15-20mins for someone to help with buying a fish, only to be ignored and ended up walking out of the store and down to Robs aquarium instead.
