Old and classic but there is a huge price difference with the one in Venice mall and this one. Taste wise they are the same. Would visit again out for desperate situations.

Restaurant is in first floor, tiny and looks old. Food quality is fair and staff are limited. So there might be delay in service. Taste of food is ok and quantity is good. Cleanliness could be improved.

One of the few Indian restaurants in BGC (or in the metro, in general), New Bombay is easy to recall when craving Indian cuisine. They have a thick menu, so it may take some time to scour through the pages. Based on how the place looks inside, it gave me an impression that they lack proper maintenance. I took a peek in their kitchen, and it was such a riot. I ate the dishes without thinking the aforementioned thought and I was delighted, especially by their naan. The samosa tasted just okay, but everything else I ordered was more than average.

Here is my post covid update... I really like this place. They’re my favorite Indian place in BGC and surrounding area. However, I will say their quality and consistency is slipping. I also notice that certain things they’ll cheapen up on. Like the samosa have BARELY and filling now. They used to be loaded. They seem like they’re getting smaller and smaller everytime I order. I will say that they easily have the best samosa in the area, hands down. However, please beef these things up back to their original size.

Not an expert in Indian cuisine but I liked the food I ordered. Wait staff was very timid but nice. Restaurant's AC was not cool enough.

Zero atmosphere.... Not the reason we come here. Hahaha. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. Best food in BGC! And now massive gold tray plates😁

Delicious Biryani. I just hope they will improve the ambiance and their place to make it appealing and make their customers comfortable to eat.

Its called new bombay but doesn't have any Marathi food. If you are keeping the name of the region then atleast serve the food from that region. And btw Bombay is an old name which relates to it's dark past, Mumbai is the correct name

One star, Do not visit There is no place in the world known as New Bombay.

All I can say is that their food is really authentically Indian. Their chef is also Indian. I ordered chicken tandoori with naan and it was the best combination. Although, they need to renovate the place because it looks dilapidated and quite rundown.

Average tasting. Wouldn’t come back. Needed some vegetarian food prior to a long flight after staying in BCG. Let’s hope I don’t get the runs. Service is average and lazy. Vegetarian Biryani made from tinned vegetables. You can tell.

Yogurt was expired and fermented. Chicken was extremely spicy tho we ordered medium.

It was delicious their food.. the soup and their biryani menus were so yummy! Ate there last week! and their portions are huge.. quality and quantity 👍! I'm not into Indian food but this one, I'll definitely go again

Gross! Unacceptable mutton quality delivered to me in October 2022 I'm worried I might fall ill from it Naan is OK, so I bumped the score up to 2/5

The food has too much cooking oil! Ordered lemon rice..it was just plain rice with lemon juice on it!.

The house need a renovation otherwise I will give 5 star. The food was great and you will have the feeling of real authentic Indian menu. The service is nothing but good. I would surely recommend it to anyone. But for those who are conservative think twice. Which you would value the place, the food, the service or all of it. I will surely go back to this place again and looking forward for the changes in the future.

Nah man...don't go here. I would not. Being a vegetarian and an Indian, after a week in Mindanao, I was desperate for good vegetarian food (any cuisine). Landed at my AirBnb in BGC, late night and had to eat something quick. Looked at the rating and thought I'll take a chance (even with bad rating). 1. The curry was going stale 2. Flavors was sub-par 3. The worst was that I had bad runs & stomach cramps for 3 days...Yikes. Never again am i going here.

Authentic Indian food. Love the hyderabadi briyani, just like how it was cooked in India. The place is a real hidden gem, though its a bit crowded.
