A great place to stay for short vacation. Suitable for business trip and leisure where the Duty Free Shopping Complex just next door. Easy to access from Kuah Jetty Terminal ( approximately around 10 minutes ) and 30 minutes driving from Langkawi International Airport.

Possibly one of the best locations in this area. Markets out front are good quality and the eatery across the road is a real gem. Hotel service is top notch. Rooms are spacious and very clean, comfy bed and couch. No alcohol allowed though. Meals in the hotel are just average and advertised choices not always available.

If you booked a triple room, you will get a different building at the beside of HIG Hotel. You need to go to reception counter first then they will tell how to get in the condominium of triple room. Very convenient and besides with HIG Market.

Here for a trip with my family for 3d2n. Stayed in a suite. The rooms were good, the service was good, the hotel food was good. Very cozy and chill environment. Although there are no commodities, overall, i enjoyed my stay. Was surprised with how good the restaurant food is. Wished more people supported this hotel and its restaurant. Highly recommend!

Overall we had an okay time at HIG. The hotel is nice but I think it is clearly outdated. The service was great and the room was big. There is a massive variety for breakfast! Also we liked the small Islamic touches like a Quran and Qublah direction, these are only small things that shouldn't put off non-Muslim travellers. We came across a big issue on our first night. I opened the hotel's own water bottle that was provided and drank from it, then realised there was black dirt inside the cap and inside of the bottle. This really put us off the hotel in terms of hygiene and cleanliness although the manager has now escalated the situation and said it will be investigated. We did also notice that some of the dishes during breakfast weren't clean. Also we ran out of toilet roll after a day and were not provided with hand soap when we first got to the room. The hotel has 3 stars and I think this is an accurate representation. It would be good for a budget stay. For context I would normally stay at 4 star hotels so perhaps my expectations were too high.

On the upside, the hotel's location was a positive aspect, earning a 4-star rating. It was conveniently situated in close proximity to various attractions, making it easy to explore the beauty of Langkawi. However, one of the areas that fell short was the value for money, which I rated as 2 stars. I felt that the overall quality of the hotel did not quite justify the rates charged, leaving me somewhat dissatisfied with my investment. Furthermore, the maintenance of the property received a 2-star rating. I noticed several areas where the hotel could benefit from better upkeep and attention to detail, which affected the overall ambiance. In conclusion, my experience at HIG Hotel Langkawi was average, with aspects of both satisfaction and disappointment. While the location was convenient and the service was acceptable, the value for money and maintenance could use some improvement. One of the best hotels here in Kuah Town, Langkawi to stay. Located in the heart of the town with market in front and connected to duty free shopping complex. Easy to find and free parking. Stayed 2 nights in delux twin rooms with breakfast here. Check in and check out was very quick. Rooms are pretty clean and tidy. Buffet breakfast was very delicious with wide range of local and western food in menu. Very well worth of price paid. Staff and service was very good. I strongly recommend this hotel since this hotel provides 4 star service and amenities at 3 star price. 👌👍

Excellent services by all staff members. From receptionist to housekeeping and kitchen. They provided new towels everyday upon request. I lost my key card this morning but they did not incur any penalty fee. Few little downsides, breakfast menu can be improved and can consider to upgrade furniture, looks a bit rundown.

IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS THAT MATTER THE MOST I would like to convey our appreciation to the hotel staff who act fast on our departure day. He made a call for our grab to Langkawi airport as we told him that we are late (our mom using walking stick). Finally, we managed to catch our flight. Bravo to the whole team of HIG Hotel.

I stay in Langkawi for 3 days at 3 diff hotels. the HIG is the best hotel among them. will stay here if I come again to Langkawi.staff very friendly & helpful. very much recommended.
