Having dinner here but the service is very bad. We reach the shop around 6something. We waited there to be seated but nobody willing to come to show us to our seat whereby other outlet at berjaya times square and setia alam does. All the waiter there were pretending to not seeing us, purposely facing the kitchen whereby they just waiting for there for the food from kitchen. This was including the cashier who was facing the shop front/entrance. Although there is quite a few customer at that time, but mostly of the customer already have eaten or their order have been taken. We have to get our seat by ourselves and still nobody come to take our order. As shown in the pix, our portion of vegetable given is lesser thn our next table, we paid the same price and yet been served like this. The butter chicken is a BIG NO NO as it was some leftover chicken which they have fry for numerous times till it become charred.

Service by wait staff was top notch, our orders were take very quickly so there were no issues here. The food quality however is sub-par to other outlets. Vegetables are heavily seasoned that anyone who has sodium sensitivity might need to limit their consumption, you can literally taste the salt in the fried bittergourd. Chicken 65 is fine and in accordance to the price charged but the mutton on the other hand is absolutely terrible. Me and my partner ended up sharing the chicken because there was nothing but bones in the mutton varuval. Do better, if there is not enough mutton to make a serving then tell the customer its sold out. Don't just serve it to them and expect them to take it because an order was already placed in. Over the years I have dined at banana leaf restaurants this is the first time I've seen such ridiculous portions, not even the ones in Brickfields, Bangsar or PJ would dare to give 12 pieces of bones and 5 pieces of meat and charge a premium since it's supposedly the speciality dish. After paying RM78 for a supposedly decent banana meal consisting of 2 BLRs, one chicken, one mutton, 2 hot teh o panas, I can pretty much say this would be my last visit because there is nothing redeeming about this outlet.

Regret trying it. Doesn't match the taste of Indian's banana leaf not even 1%. The only thing that taste alike would be the cabbage. For those who craving the taste of Indian's banana food, this is definitely not the restaurant for you. Also, the servive is quite slow.

Initial service was okay. But when we needed to top up it was very hard to get attention of the waiters. When we told one person, the person goes on to do another task and forget so we constantly had to try to get attention of the waiters. There is a lack of system in terms of waiter service. Many waiters but all of them seems to be confused on what their tasks are. I suggest at least some waiters should be in charged of a section or have one person coordinating. Very little communication between waiters.

Had brunch on 2 January 2023 at 11am. Ordered Nasi Briyani with egg, egg on the way never arrive. Malaysian style! Sayur/acar timun tak dapat. Portion is big, good for hungry people. But still my egg is missing!

After waiting almost one hour this is what i get. The restaurant is not busy but the service is incredibly slow and the staff don't even care. Save your time and money. Don't come here or you will regret it. This is my second time coming here and both visit has been very disappointing. Mamak restaurant beside the street have more standard then this. What a joke.

Just had a meal there at aeon shah alam. For me, it's average only. 2 pax meal cost us RM63.55 (add on biryani rice and Teh lawa ais) . The kuah taste, average, the papadom, lemau not crispy, the Sayur goreng ok, timun sejuk ok. Ayam 65, normal normal only, fried calamari ring, biasa biasa sahaja. Cleanliness of the outlet is good. Staff are helpful and very attentive. Will I come back in future? Yes for the cleanliness and helpful staff. Convinient. Food wise, I will rate 6/10. For the price, my expectation is to have at least an at par dining experience. Overall, it's a good experience to try once.

2nd time visiting this place.if you like to have a day for vegetarian meal do come here. Just pay one price n you can add the same dishes with no extra cost. (Vege /rice/papadom/curries sauce-love their fried snake gourd!) Theres also other indian dishes you can choose and even the portion for ala cart dishes..enough for 2/3 people.nice place.friendly staff.can be full house during lunch time n weekend

It was indeed a great restaurant choice to eat delicious Indian food!! The price was reasonable, will come again!! Their service was fast despite the restaurant was busy.

Please improve your staff!!! We having our dinner here, ordered with a set. We ask the staff leave the curry to us, so we can take ourself. The staff face show very bad to us, we dunno whats wrong with him. Ok fine we also cincai only. Eat until half way, we still havent get our drink food, we talk to the staff and they said ok, but wait for so long still dint get anything, we take a hand to the staff for few time, I am sure they saw us but they keep ignore us. until when they serve beside our table customer, we ask him help us to refill the food and remind him our drink still havent come. But when we called him, he just said tunggu ye and then just do other job. We keep waiting until cannot tahan anymore, go to the counter asking again the same thing. This tome everything come very fast, no need to wait at all. But the ice already melted. This is the first time, and also the last time we came. Wont visit anymore

Been here 5 times and i enjoyed the food here very much. Portion size is good too. The cleanliness is tiptop, the staff is very friendly and soft spoken, the food arrives surprisingly fast as well even though there are many people there. I can't understand why their ratings had dropped

This shop deserves ZERO star. Staffs are REALLY rude. Asked for refill up to four times and not getting entertained to even once. Confronted the PIC assuming it’s the manager, thin tall man wearing black shirt and spectacle yet no apology coming from him, but that’s fine, we didn’t proceed with the refill and was ok with that. I went to the sink to wash my hand and one of the waiter literally mocked me behind my back dengan isyarat nak tumbuk kepala i, macam tak puas hati. My husband literally saw that and called the guy out and he ignored my husband. Is that how you trained your workers? We could lodge a police report if we wanted to. We are PAYING customers regardless how cheap or expensive the food we ordered, what’s wrong with asking for refill? If we’re told that we’re not allowed to get a refill, kindly say that to us, yet, no communication given, rude pula tu. Dah la the sink area is very slippery and dirty. We went to many banana leaf restaurants; Nirvana, Acha etc tak pernah kena layan macamni. We went to other branches of BananaBro; Damansara & KL East Mall and this is the WORST experience ever in BananaBro AEON Shah Alam. 12 March 2023, 2:30PM-3PM. Edit: 4PM, Encik Azizi called my husband to personally apologize on this matter. However my review for this outlet remains unchanged. Still the worst.

A little to say, there is room for service improvement. Too many to say actually, but i leave it there. Be better next time, Bananabro.

We order for family combo 4pack All item completed at our table. the good is ,we can request for top up rice and snack/Papodam. Food test good. The issue is about hygienic of the stainless steel curving set of the curry at our table have a balance .and the staff crew, used for top up curry with other customer.For my suggestion please set up individual stainless steel bowl for the family 4combo set due to get a proper Hygine in food service Thank you !

The banana leaf set was good. Service consider fast but the atmosphere still can be improved.

Firstly, the service here is good.Every workers are helpful.For me, the food especially fried foods are quite soggy and cold. It looks good but once you eat it more you will feel queasy… For the gravy, i prefer kari ikan as I can taste the fishiness of it nit just the curry itself. It has a delicate taste of curry. So, for improvement, I think they have to make sure the sides are not cold nor soggy (fried foods). That’s it for now hehe

Description say can refill, been asking for the bitter gourd for 5 times, never even bother to entertain. Very2 bad service. Would really recommend nirvana over this stupid place. Kudos guys.

We came during off peak and the service is fast. Waiter and waitress are attentive. Teh Tarik Lawa here is better (less sweet and kaw) than other branches. Food wise same taste and flavour as other branches (we've tried in Setia City Mall, Paradigm Mall). Keep it up guys.

Environment ok, service is nice. Curry fish and chicken 65 taste very tasty but the chicken we get mixed with cold and warm dish. For the squid dish nahhh I dont recommend to choose. Can improve on the food taste

I've asked 2 of your staff (different timing) to refill the veggies. Both of them look me like i'm begging for free food. Ridiculous. Please train your staff properly

Worst experience. The staff was rude and unfriendly. They also talked bad about us behind our backs and acted like we didn’t know while they made it so obvious. You're lucky we're kind enough to not take the picture. The food was cold and quite a small portion. I've went to other banana bro's franchise and they weren't even stingy about the food. The only good thing about this place is the fried chicken and calamari. Both are quite nice but not enough to compensate for the worst experience we faced. To the owner: I saw your replies in several comments regarding the rude staff. You said “Please know that we will look into this immediately, as well as speak to our staff about this. We promise to improve our service, and we hope you’d give us a chance to redeem ourselves”. This was a month ago. But here I am, a month after that, and they are still rude. Train your staff properly. If it didn’t work, remove them. They will bring bad reputation to your business. Thank you.
