the room was nice and clean . this morning , 7 may , i had breakfast , the cashier intends to decieve and take my money . she overcharges 2 person for rm52 but the breakfast price per person include tax is rm17+ . the way she handle this situation also very rude . i hope goldenbay bintulu take action on the cashier and improve the service

Doesn’t deserve even 1 star. My first time staying overnight in Bintulu and very unfortunately happened to stay there. It would be long list of complaints if i have to list out.. 1) only 1 socket is functioning to charge my phone, it is inside the bathroom, just next to toilet bowl, no more functioning socket to charge my apple watch 2) tried to order for dinner, the staff just said, easily with no apology, due to one event is on going no menu is available apart from western food, ok i ordered spaghetti with sea food, turned out with 2 tiny prawns, charged Rm 32 3) no drinking water bottle is provided, you have to go and get from water cooler from the middle of your floor 4) so call TV channels, in total <10, most of it are free local channels 5) if you look at in photos, there are 2 dim light stands , but non of these is not working etc… My worst ever hotel stay experience in Malaysia 😤

Location in town is good. Room was executive suite. Water does not drain properly in bath room. View is nice, but a bit far from the water front. A pity that the former pantai ria restaurants are gone as this used to be a great place to choose any food available. Room maintenance, cleaning was not done unrequested, but had to be asked for. Although policy is to clean bedsheets every three days, they have never been changed. Also toilet paper availability was not checked, although at the last day the staff kindly hung some at our door. First days there was hardly any breakfast, probably due to Chinese new year. Later some more, but the remaining of our 9 days we took breakfast outside. We enjoyed dinner on the top floor restaurant. Price was reasonable, but some of the ingredients was not the freshest. View during new years eve was excellent. Wifi in the room was not up to standard. We had only one place near the entrance of our room, where we had only 1 wifi stripe. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Family room suite is spacious and clean. View is beautiful from our floor. One unit AC not working in the room & remain unfixed till we check-out. No slipper n water bottle provided. Toilet seems to have some unpleasant smell and water clogged at shower area. Overall ok.

We are here for business purpose. We bring 2 kids with us. I stayed 4 days at parkcity everly hotel & 2 days here. And hm. I hope you can improve more. Room - very spacious room. However, This room is a room for two. but they provide toiletries for one person. Hm. Service - mind you, if you want to change the bed linen on the day you arrive or you request for linen twice because your kids accidentally pee, they charged extra money. Without informing you. And this is my first time ever experiencing this kind of rule. Breakfast - below par. When i read others said, the breakfast is not variety and limited, i thought it cant be that bad. And to my surprise, it really bad. not many choice for kids. Swimming pool - only for kids. If you kids is 5 years old and above, they will find this boring and unattractive as it really shallow. Booking the wanted room early, nearly one month early. 3 days before checkin, called the hotel management ask and confirming about the room. When checkin, the room given is not what have been booked. Ask and complain it to management/desk, they seems to confuse and noticed the problem but still gives an excuses to not solving the prob. This is not good and professional mangement. We, customer cannot have a refund if we cancel the booking room. So, unsatisfied, have to stay and take the room of not u wanted and choose. If it can refund, surely cancel the book and stay in other hotels that will gives the wanted room. So dear hotel management, do please look and solves professionally this problems. Thankyou.

Booked the hotel directly via the hotel web. Hotel location: Hotel location is far from basic amenities nor food court around. Everything is via grab not a walking distance. Food: Food is 5/10. Room: Plus points: Room is spacious with a reading table. 2 x Power points are just by the side of the table. Down side: The lugged stand is so cramp up by the side of the bed. Not sure why it was placed there. My room was given with the twin type room with an access door to the other, on my last day of stay , a fly was staying with kids. Was unable to have a good sleep that last night. Do take note if you loose your key card the hotel will charge RM 50/card.

A decent hotel at best. For the stay, No room slippers, no hand soap or any extra toiletries (there is body wash and shampoo in the showers). The water given is a drinking water cup instead of a bottle. And checking in took longer than expected (feels like no matter what room u book, ur given on a first come first serve basis). Maybe it was bad timing but still, i expected a lot from this hotel. The seminar room however was good. Good mic and sound system, water jugs on every table. and the room is close to the toilets too. What a great hotel. I only have positive things to say. The staff are all super friendly and do their utmost to assist you. The place is immaculate, modern and very clean. The rooms are well fitted out, everything you might need. The bed is so comfortable I wish I could take it home. As I was working during my stay here the desk and chair were ergonomic and easy to work from for a regular days work. Breakfast which was included in my package was good but compared to other places perhaps offered a little less of a choice, but still plenty to enjoy. Fresh and tasty which at the end of the day is what you want. The facilities include a gym, conference rooms, a rooftop pool though not deep enough to swim in, but looks nice! The deck are is very pleasant to sit and relax. Theres a rooftop eatery and bar where the food is very good value and well presented best it actually tastes good too. The menu isn't extensive but a good variety. The bar offers a good range of tap beers and even include some more special beers and of course plenty of bottled beers to choose from. They have function rooms up on the rooftop too which seem to be booked out each night. Though the hotel isn't disturbed by them. They seem to all finish by 10pm. The location is reasonably central a quick 10 minute walk and your in Bintulu commercial area.
