This is an amazing bookstore! The atmosphere is enhanced by the powerful theatre sound system and the layout is delightful, like a maze! Many nooks and crannies to explore and we almost forgot its a bookstore. Had a wonderful experience here and would recommend any visitors to KL to drop by.

Cool place, totally worth it for bookworms as well. One meeting point for hang out with your friends and loved ones. Please watch your step when explore the book maze. You can get your ice cream or snacks in first floor after exploring the maze and got your book. They still have shows as well. It's 10/10 to go to this place.

What a surprising layout! All the books were arranged according to their genre so if one got their specific fav genre, it easily will help them to find the book. it took me an hour to explore up and down through the maze of bookshelf! also, i managed to grab 2 books from my fav authors! the price also affordable. but, the music just too loud and repetitive 😅 anyway, it was a good experience. i would like to come here again!

Cultural arts place with lots of food at the basement, a Cafe and ice cream stall on the first and second floor, a book store at the top floor. There's so many picture worthy spots and just a place full of hipster vibes.

Just visited the digital show “Other World” in REXKL. It’s out of this world! Amazing visuals, music and choreography! Definitely recommend to visit. And ofcourse indulge Yourself at one of the food stalls or cafes. And visit the book store on the Top floor - it’s a real Hogwarts Library in KL

Very cool spot. Loved that they redid the interiors and kept most of the building the same. It has so much to offer from pizza, coffee, clothing, books, all with very thoughtful design. Definitely a nice fun find in Chinatown area of KL. Would recommend to those visiting to check it out

Great spot to check-in with lots of floors and a big bookstore with amazing interior achitecture ❤️ the life at this place is quite busy during the day 👍 people come to visit a lot and there are lots of spots for photos, many tourists come here for the book shelves 😁 You can enter for free, no ticket needed. People here are friendly and nice.

It’s a nice hangout place with friends. The little shops and Bookstore is fun and interesting. However, the choices of food on the ground floor is kinda limited, not a good options for people with different dietary needs. The bar has a (not too bad) selection for beers and IPA but the cocktails… hmm… let’s say, they don’t have many many choices. On and off they have some events and at times, it gets too loud and not fun.

Nice place to check out if you happen to explore China Town. To me not quite alot to see, the varity of shops are limited. And it will be very hard to book a grab from this place to go anywhere esle at 4pm. We had to wait like near an hour to get a cab.

The place is super kewl normally. Got a little market downstairs. Retro shops and books shops. They have an absolutely massive and unpractical bookshop at the top. Well worth a look. It was like a factory or something once. We went for a visual arts thing, and it was awesome

Indie, artsy and alternative peeps, this place is for you! An old cinema turned into cutting edge art centre, RexKL has plenty of retro charm and inspiring decor. There is a very industrial, artistic feel to this place. The floors are chipped, the structure is somewhat crumbling and gritty yet beautiful. The toilets were a little creepy but even the graffiti had some artistic and punk rock feel to it. 😂 Lots of interesting art installations, vintage shops, local art stalls and food shops here. You'll definitely be surrounded by creative, fashionable people who dress much edgier and cooler than you 😂. That's how I knew this place was a hot spot for the hip locals. The moment I saw all that eyeliner, flared pants and combat boots, I KNEW 😅 Try out the food stores that serve a dizzying variety of local and fusion dishes and listen to the thumping, smooth beats. There's a vintage thrift shop, a tattoo parlour, a local boutique (Kanoe), an alcoholic ice cream parlor, a Bila Bila Mart (where you can support local artisans by buying their merch) and of course, the labyrinthine BooksXcess which attracts social media influencers and bookworms alike. I felt like this place was almost a little too cool for me 😂 but I had a wonderful time immersing myself here because I loved the vibe. It's a must see for foreign tourists or even locals who want to check out the indie art scene in KL. It's quirky, hipster, edgy and yet deeply Malaysian.

    - walking distance from Chinatown - has different floors. Love the concept of the building. The building where REXKL is also have food stores/like a food court, they also have a coffee shop, vape store, bar, and like an antique store - REXKL is an Instagrammable spot actually the whole place is but it's kinda hot there. Hopefully they improve the place by making it a little colder so people could stay or hang there
