After 27 years I back to this temple. For me it was blessing . I bring my family and the trip real king tiring. If you from kl it take 2 hours 15 minutes to reached here. The place so hot because of weather so don’t forget to bring water. The great thing I heard the place provide free meal on breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you plan to stay you must request from the management where they have a lot of dorm for you to stay. The wash room was great in condition. Don’t forget to refill your petrol before heading here. The temple open from 7am -10am and 12pm till 9pm. May Sri Marathandavar blessed you

The main temple building is closed — currently under renovation. Temporary temple was built in front of a peacock cage. As usual, many of devotees visiting to fulfil their vows. It would be nice if keeping the temple environment clean. Be sure to wear your mask when entering the temple grounds.

Road gets better. Temple is under construction. Well preserved temple. Only temple chariot made from wood that I have seen. Peacock in the cage, and the old temple tree is available for sightseeing.

Definitely a very famous and powerful temple. I'm only giving low rating as the temple is currently undergoing renovation and don't recommend visit here anytime soon. Definitely looking forward for the refurbished temple and will provide more updated review in future.

The temple is under construction. 9th July 2023 is the Maha kumbabishekam. We managed to reach 8.20pm, temple closes at 9pm. Spent a good 20mins, feel blessed!

Started as a small roadside shrine, this was a popular one among lorry drivers and passer-by in the olden days. Since then many believe their vows comes true when they visit this shrine. Probably one of the popular temple surrounded by Malay kampungs.

We have mixed experience when we went to the temple after so many years. When we call, we did got respond about the prayers time changes, which helped us to plan our trip from kl. However, we did not find any articles or news about this temple renovation or we did not even been informed over the phone. The environment looked dirty due to renovation. Now, the good part, the famous sacred tree which fell off on 2016, is being placed over there for public views. We had a great moment to see how tall was the tree.

Understand Main Temple under renovation, but Early Morning & Morning Prayers are going as usual. They will answer your phone calls but some times it took times at the atmosphere is as like this which you have to bare it, no choice. We have to appreciate them as serving for us. TQ

Check out yourself. The big tree bark has been cut and kept aside for visitors view. Temple lost its ancient vibe. Too colourful, new wall is up covered with windows and glass (not sure what). A big fan has been installed for ventilation... A big difference since I'd seen the old temple. Was too busy looking into the corners, colours until I forgot to take pictures ...

Went here around 12pm+, was so blessed to witness the 12pm prayers. The whole environment was really peaceful, calm and full of positive vibes. Currently the main temple is under complete renovation. They shifted all the deity's just next to the temple hall. Beautiful and blessed moments.

The place is in mess after the flood I supposed. The whole place needs to be cleaned and maintained all year round. The shop area is terrible and the toilets are filthy but they were collecting 50cts per entry. I suppose a lot of coordination is needed to ensure the place is well visited.

The temple is under renovation at the moment, so the place is in full mess. They shifted the God to the back part of the temple and its at an open space. Advisable not to have lunch at the temple as the food service is very poor and not hygienic. People are reusing plates that are not being properly washed.

Visiting this temple after many years! Main temple is under renovation and the kumbhabhishegam is planned for sometime in January 2023! So, right now, the deities are in a temporary area.. But despite this, when we were there, there was a significant number of people who had come! We had a lovely vegetarian lunch right there at the temple.. They have a huge dining hall with proper tables and chairs for you to enjoy your meal comfortably!

Very Poor Management. Not properly organized. Even food finished, need to wait for so long..even for the arachanai. Need to improve in hygiene. Anyway I came for Lord Muruga blessings. I got that.

Temple was good and well renovated. What was seriously lacking was cleanliness/maintain the cleanliness of the wash room. Usage was charged but not clean enough even at non busy time.

Its always a blessing to reach here to visit our almighty lord murugan. But sincerely felt missing the old temple which brings the ancient vibe, im not sure why the tree had been cut and caged at a side, temple is colourful, only archanai can be bought inside the temple, veleku all must buy outside the temple at the maalai shops
