Was lucky to witness the low tide phenomenon that allegedly occurred 2 days in a year! Head on the beach around 7am and there’s already a myriad of people coming out to experience the once in a year phenomenon. The beach rather clean which is much appreciated.

Beautiful and clean beach. Entrance of the beach is secured by a security guard. No backpacks allowed. Belongs to the Four Seasons Hotel. One of the best beaches in Langkawi. Recommended for a stroll.

The best beach in langkawi. We visited over 4 beaches in Langkawi and this was the best beach. It was a 40 min ride from pentai chenang center by bike. You can also get a grab. The beach is clean, quiet and empty( hope it stays this way). A great place to swim of you love ocean swimming. (Caution: a few feet into the beach and its deep) . The beach has food options. It's also a great place for kayaking and stand up paddling. You can rent this here for about 100 ringgit. Our stand-up paddle instructor was great and took us for a long paddle into the other islands that you can view from the beach. Also there's a bar on the beach get your beers there for 5 ringgit πŸ˜€ NOTE: There are RTVs but please don't rent them on a quiet beach where people are sleeping/sunbathing. Don't be that person that everyone frowns upon. Don't contribute to the noise pollution.

Awesome beach, go there for the sunset. Very quiet and clean beach, new food shops are coming up so hopefully cleanliness is maintained. Must visit for those who are looking to get a glimpse of the crimson sky before the sun sets in the horizon.

The beach is very clean and beautiful. It's very pristine and serene during the day time and some tides during evenings. Water is so clean that it looks blue. I suggest not to go inside where Google maps show the exact location, rather stay outside where they have put marks, it's more beautiful and long beach line there.

Beautiful clean beach. Only 30 mins drive from Kuah. Has small restaurants and few agent booth offering boat trips, water sport activities etc. Happy enough to be there, walk along the beach, dip my feet into the fine sand and look at the clear seawater. Malaysia is blessed to have such beautiful nature.

A clean beach with majority foreigners having sunbathing on the beach and swimming in the sea⛱️ . Two rows of stalls selling clothes, souvenirs, transportation rental booths and water sports booths are available along the pathway to the beach. There is a collapsed building opposite the carpark, an eyesore to the scenery. Hopefully the local authority can take action. No public toilet for bathing here.

The beach is really beautiful, white sand and perfect water condition. Only downside are the squads going up and down the beach and disturbing the quiet place - should be forbidden as the case for other beaches, same for the drones!

Beautiful white sand beach that was almost completely deserted when we went. Easy parking and spotlessly clean.

Beautiful white sandy shores, more of an inlet than a beach- still very beautiful. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy with shaded spots under trees further up from the shore or rent a beach bed from the locals. Take a walk around and see this beautiful place for what is is. Please take your trash with you, so much filth on this pristine landscape from tourists not doing the right thing. Must visit!

Lovely view with some small islands opposite. Water was serene. Quite empty on a Thursday afternoon except for a couple sunbathing and some soaking legs in the sea. Maybe too short stretch of a beach for other water sports etc. There are a row of shop selling tours and car rentals services. A separate building for washrooms but don't see any F&B kiosks or stalls. Nice quiet place for relaxing.

Beautiful public beach located beside Tanjung Rhu Resort. It was relatively clean (by Malaysian standards) with clear waters. Went there on Hari Raya Aidilfitri so we practically had the entire stretch all to ourselves. Only thing lacking are public toilets. I expect it can get quite crowded during peak season as the pick-up point for the mangrove tours are nearby.

I personally think this is the best beach at Langkawi. A long and wide beach with clean beautiful sand. A non commercial area. The water is clean and really good for swimming. The water is not that deep for an adult but will be for kids so please watch your kids when they went in. The place doesn't change much since last time I went there 20 years ago. Still beautiful and well preserved unlike Cenang beach that has been totally destroyed by commercialisn. Please care for this beach, throw your garbage in the bin provided if you come here. A good place for a family picnics and gatherings.

there are two areas to this beach, the first it's the pubic beach where there are signs of Tanjong Rhu, DRIVE further to the end, 5-10Mins, there's another secluded beach area that's a good place to hang and chill. it's definitely a another good choice to Chenang Beach cuz it's definitely more idyllic, quiet, private and CLEAN! only downside is there are not much eateries, and public shower and toilets for use. the place or deck chairs on the beach should be owned by private resorts. but the view is spectacular!

One of the most pristine beaches in Langkawi. It has been my old favourite to come and relax by this beach and now it has upscaled its facilities with taken care toilets with shower and small area to wash your sand off other than a row of small stalls that sell varieties of food and beverages. Some tour agents are also available for you if you are interested to try boating, kayaking and other adventurous activities. But most of all what bring you back to this place is definitely its soft bluish green water lapping shore, delicate sand and breath taking scenery

It would’ve been more beautiful with better weather. Probably nice to watch sunset when sky is clear.

Very nice, quite, calm, serene beach located in the north of Langkawi. It was beautiful and peaceful with less tourist around. I got a foot massage done here as well.

Absolute joy and serenity to be able to walk along the beach on the pearl white sand and to swim in the 'can't-take-my-eyes-off-you' sea. Unforgettable experience, eventhough you are not doing any activity there. Just be there is enough.

Nice beach! We had rented scooters and visited the beach. Beautiful beach!! Real tropical Island! And the restaurant near the beach is nice and good. Lots of local food and good and great shacks and tropical fruit juises.

Very beautiful beach for swimming with white sand , to rent the 2 chaise lounge with umbrellas are 40 MR for the day or large pillow for 10MR. ( no umbrella), however there is shade around the beach from the trees . Place is not crowded , Must visit if you are in Langkawi.

Amazing beach, the best in Langkawi in my opinion. Very few people come here, just some local families and a few tourists, so it is very calm and you can relax at the sand without any noises, especially during the morning. You can have an amazing day, with the Andaman Sea full experience. There is a restaurant and a cafΓ© so you have all the amenities you might need.

Please come here if you are looking for peaceful, quiet beach. Sea is not as rough. Sand is not as white, acceptable to my liking (not powdery sand like) Quite far away from Kuah or Cenang. Next to Tg Rhu is the mangrove tour area. Great place to get a tan. Bring your own mat. The banana fritters are worth the calories. There’s a stall selling coffee for MYR 5. You can pay MYR 0.50 to use the toilet and MYR 1 for the shower room

One of the prettiest and scenic beaches I have ever been! This is a secluded white sand beach and is accessible only if you are travelling with a localite in a taxi, hence it is less crowded and is the cleanest beach. The pristine blue-green waters overlooking 3 small islands is located on the northern part of Langkawi island. It's a must visit if you are going to Langkawi and is totally worth visiting it. Also, the entry is free!

Probably the most beautiful beach in Langkawi. Half an hour drive north of Kuah Town, an isolated part of Langkawi, two resorts are there on this beach: Four Seasons and Tanjung Rhu Resort. Two clear access to this beach, one near a fish and chips restaurant visible from the road, and another where the road ends, you will find a few shops and you could buy tours from there, specially the mangrove tour, since it starts from there too

Very nice beach to sun bathe and chill, the water however isn't meant for swimming in my opinion, lots of boats nearby, water isn't as clear as other beaches, but still a very nice beach

This beach is far from the city but probably the best one. water here is crystal clear and so peaceful. There are many cafeteria near the beach. very less crowded as it is far from the main city. One of the main reason I like this beach.

Came here during rainy time. Didn't have the opportunity to view the sunset from this venue. But, I bet the sunset view from this point would be the best sunset ever since the point is facing the horizon with 3 little islands in the background.

Beautiful setting with extremely dated facilities. The staff also not educated on SOP as we were first turned away for a lunch and only after we called them the security let us through. Then at the lobby they turned us away pointing us to a wrong restaurant. Pity for such a pristine location.
