Nice place but Nothing to do except fishing , amenities in poor shape , no toilet

The lake has a magnificent and enchanted view. It is located about 45km from Kuala Nerang Town. The main road is wide, good and well maintained. We were exploring along the road when we found the abandoned Mutiara Pedu Golf and Lake Resort. It is in very sad condition. Need to put up more signs and make a stop place for view point. The resorts, chalets ( mostly closed and abandoned) and lake are lack of activities. I'm really hoping the new developers or Kedah Tourism Board will come to revamp the place. Streets lights, parking area and good road to the resort is needed. Family theme park, low budget chalets should be added at nearby area to draw local tourists and make the area alive. Have to think of alternative activities during dry seasons when the lake is drying up. (Cable car service maybe?) Please, please and please bring back your rubbish home and stop littering. Even there are rubbish bins placed around somewhere, the monkeys will ransack them before the rubbish collecter come. Ended up with the rubbish scattered everywhere. Seen a lot of fishing activities but these anglers don't clean up their mess before they leave the fishing spots.

The lake was so lovely . Stunning view . We did a loop exploring the lake . Very limited signs . Which is get us easily confused . Make sure to use ur waze . We went till the end of the road at mutiara pedu lake . There was nothing . The place is closed .
