The clubhouse is also some great work of art. A very impressive architecture. The Staff are friendly and helpful. You can only play here with a member of the club.

We attended an Akad Nikah Ceremony here, for the cool couple, Adam & Maisarah..it started at 9:30 am, before the sun could shine us with all its full glory...the garden was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers, and attended by close family, relatives and friends.. what a nice way to spend our new year day!

Beautiful and well located golf course in a superb location with an interesting and challenging layout. As other reviewers have mentioned, this 5 star course is marred by having a very rude girl at the registration counter. For the benefit of other visitors, I would also like to record the requirements for a rain check at this course. When I registered and paid the green fees, the girl at the counter said that if there is rain, then we could get a rain check if less than three holes had been completed. After two holes, it rained heavily and I went to claim the rain check. The registration counter refused to issue the rain check at first saying the actual conditions are: 1) the siren must blow and 2) the course marshal must confirm that less than 3 holes had been played. Even though it was raining heavily and there was thunder, the registration counter refused to blow the siren saying lightning had not been detected by their lightning detector. I had to wait 10 minutes until lightning was confirmed and the siren was sounded then I had to wait another 20 minutes while the registration counter waited for confirmation from the course marshal that our flight had played only two holes out of nine. Fortunately, I managed to get the rain check for my flight in the end although the experience was very unpleasant and stressful. In short, do not rely on getting a rain check if you play at KGPA if you are a visitor. Members are treated differently. Some members came in to the registration counter while I was waiting and requested for a rain check and the girl at the registration counter immediately gave them a rain check with a big smile. Very different treatment for members and visitors. Five star rating for the course and layout and one star rating for the girl at the registration counter.

It has been too long since previous chance to play KGPA. My only real memory was the up hill fairways to even more elevated greens...my memory did not fail me. 3 nine hole loops - Hills, Lakes and Forest - members prefer the Hills and Lakes. The greens are fair and generous but felt a liitle slow in speed but most importantly were consistent. The golfers terrace offers quick bites and selection at very good rates and the Leonian (formerly Transview) pro shop caters for essential needs. Visitor rates are very competitive but see if a member can introduce you for an even better deal. Currently Ramadhan promotion rate for walk in guests. The visitor car park is a multi storey arrangement - not great signage but minor hassle.

Me and my friends were there as a guest at driving range. Saw someone smoking & we feedback to this Halim staff, he said to us if we are a member then we can do anything but sadly we are only guest. Wow fantastic leh member can smoke at non smoking area. I should consider to sign up member and swim at driving range then

we were actually at M Hotel & Suites.fr a short weekend stay. we were trying out a new hotel in the situated next to the KGPA. The F&B staffs were friendly ,helpful.Invited my son n his family fr lunch. it was my son's bday so the staff of 10 gv a surpri se bday cake for him. it was a Santai weekend .will check.in again

Have not played here for many years and glad to see that it is still well maintained and still an enjoyable course to play. The hilly terrains and buggy on track means more walking and can be tiring. Greens are nice speed

Another golf course that I hv not been playing for years. Since then it has improved alot in terms of facilities, especially the multi- level car parks. The fairways has also been improved in terms of outlook & upkeep. I rated the greens as 3.5 out of 5 (HIll 9's better then Forests 9's)

During a recent round at KGPA, I was informed by the starter about a dress code violation. I was wearing NIKE golf shorts and was denied play due to them being deemed inappropriate. When I inquired about the reason, the starter mentioned that it was based on instructions from KGPA's management. I was wearing belt, short in the shorts... I think there are no problem. Later, after realizing there was no real issue, he commented, "It's okay for today, but next time you can't play" in a dismissive manner. I felt his attitude was extremely rude. I sought a response from KGPA's management regarding this matter, but there are still no reply. Overall, I don't think the staff's handling of the situation was good. It's disappointing, especially considering that the course itself is good. I've felt this way not just this time but consistently on each visit.
