I’m really hungry, got a portion of mutton, curry chicken, pucuk manis and an egg sambal. Together with a lime juice drink total cost me RM15. Fairly reasonable, taste is awesome and everything cooks perfectly.

An authentic Chettinad restaurant as opposed to the ubiquitous Mamak restaurants all over town. Tourists arriving from the Tioman ferry will make a beeline for this place. The usual chicken , mutton & other vegetarian fares. Do ask for the free rasam soup if not proffered. The restaurant is only for lunchtime

Super duper Indian food. We had almost everything on the menu 😆. 2 adults and 2 kids..total was rm56 with drinks. We had mutton, chicken perratel, pepper chciken, fried chicken, 2 types of vege per person, rasam,papadam. A must have if you decide to come to Mersing.

Our family had an amazing lunch here on our way back to KL from Tioman. What is really worth mentioning is that the food at the restaurant was almost over when we got there and not sufficient enough for us (we were a group of 12). The family running the restaurant asked us if we could wait for 5 to 10 mins, and they went over & beyond to give us an amazing lunch. Homemade food at its best.

This is the only authentic Indian restaurant in Mersing. This restaurant is located inside food court. You may park inside the food court to go the restaurant. Home cooked food with reasonable price. The owner is pleasant. People who craves for Indian food after travelling from islands around, this is the place to go.

Stopped for a quick lunch after leaving Tioman. Wonderful food full of flavor, and lots of vegetarian (also Vegan) options for us. We also got a cold tea and lime juice, which was equally delicious. Most importantly, the people here made us feel like family! They informed us that all of the veggies are from their own garden, which was such a sweet touch. Would recommend 10 times over!

I am in food heaven. That rasam and mutton curry were just… *chef’s kiss*. Lord knows how I am to make the journey back after that delicious meal. Wish me luck.

Not only the food but the hospitality is just too good. Lovely family stall and delicious authentic Indian home cooked food. Always my permanent lunch stop after returning from Island. Better to call in advance to arrange arrival time if your returning from island. Great options for vegetarians and id say dont need to look further, fully recommend this place!

If you love indian food this is the place to go while in Mersing. The food is delicious, there is the choice between vegetarian and non-vegetarian and it is all homemade. And to top it off Rekha and her family are very nice and make you feel welcome! We will come again - thank you!

The food, the people who serve food and the place where we ate the food..everything was so homely. No commercialised feeling anywhere! The fish was super fresh that we ended having freshly fried fish piece even when we were full. The mutton curry was tasty but the pieces were slightly undercooked. Cabbage and other vegetable (don't know what it is called here) was tasty too. Just like we make it at home.. not too oily, spicwise perfect!

First time trying their food, it tasted like home cook Food, very trashy! The elderly couple were Soo humble and friendly. The mutton curry was sooo amazing! They really clean the meat. Highly recommend this place!

We had been here during Raya holidays on the way back from Tioman islands.. We reached the restaurant around 1pm but unfortunately they were running out of food. As we were really hungry and not much options around, we requested them if they can arrange the food for us and they were soo kind enough to cook for us from scratch.. We had to wait a bit but the wait was worth it..food was really yummy and so scrumptious..they served us food with so much of love and we felt really happy to have stayed back to enjoy the lovely meal.. All curries served was great and so reasonable ..thank you for the yummy treat.. Keep going!!

This place was a lucky find. Driving through a quiet coastal town amidst Covid-19, where to eat or stop for some safe (clean) food? we found this place. They serve a home cook type of south Indian cuisine, fried fish, mutton curry, chicken parratal, rasam, sambar & veges. It was remarkably delicious, not overly spicy but just moderate enough for anyone to simply enjoy the pleasure of spice and chili, infact its safe for kids too.

Stopped to have lunch after arriving back from Tioman, didn’t expect the food to be so good! Amazing dishes and wonderful service. Will definitely return again. Infinity stars for the chicken kicap!
