The staffs shared : Red Velvet is their signature cake. You guys can give it a try. I liked it because it wasn’t sweet, the moist texture was just nice. Taste wise ; leans on the lighter side. Ambience is great , the interior feels homey and cozy. After moving to USJ 9, I find the parking spot is easier to get. Better than parking 🅿️ in Taipan.

Nicely decorated bread shop cafe. The sourdough breads are hot selling even at around 1.30pm Sunday, nothing much left. Will definitely visit again ☺️

Visited this café for the second time this year. Ambience as always homey and inviting, and the aroma of freshly baked bread wafted through the air was an added plus. The staffs were polite, friendly and brought our order within acceptable time. Drinks: Cappuccino - great, Irish coffee : slightly sweet but good. Food : Chicken mushroom pie - Suitable for small eater, tasty Big Breakfast : Worth the price and tasty Carpenter's choice: Suitable for small eater, bread is good. You can buy their baked goods home too. Wholemeal loaf was good. Parking can be a bit tricky especially during lunch time peak hours weekdays.

Came here for the key lime pie. Decided to sit down for an early dinner Probably was one of the best decisions. Sausage Platter was divine, Tropicana Pizza was homey, cold-pressed juice was lovingly-made. Good food, warm vibes, friendly staff equal the creation of returning customers. Recommended to go upstairs to try their ice-cream and dessert attachment. Thoughts in next review. 10 out of 5 for me. Highly recommended for chill people who love a quiet eating experience with a hint of familiar ambience.

All time favourite to have family gathering here. Must reach in earlier time if you need more tables and seats. Fresh breads and sour dough are selling fast 😁

1st time attempt to this cafe' on Sunday morning, 24th Sept. The ambience quite cool with beautiful English Home deco. There's 1 old lady greet me at the entrance very politely. For the 1st timer, of course I need to hv a look at the display pastries and cakes before place an order. The girl at the counter seems very rushed and not friendly, she's not even give a smile to the customer. When I asked a question, she answered a little bit rough (she wore a mask) maybe not too clear for my ears. Then I asked for a menu, and she gv me a menu book. Suddenly my heart blossomed back, when another staff at the back (she's baking a bread) gv me a smile. Thanks! I ate a pie, lemon meringue pie and drink a hot cafe latte. The latte was not bad for me. For the pie, what I can said for the pie filling was too sweet, eventho still hv the sour lemon taste but the sweetie taste already cut off the lemon taste. I can't finished it. Well, it's just my personal opinion. Definitely I'll comeback again to try other menu for my dinner then I will edit my review for the foods. Thanks.

Expensive for small portion. Eggs benedict was horrible, egg was overcooked with barely any hollandaise sauce. Arugula wasn't fresh. If it was RM15 I'd close one eye but this was almost RM25. Won't recommend this place.

The ambience in the place is really nice. It has a very rustic design and ambience which I love. The food is pretty good, price is about 20-30 per person which is normal for cafes in Subang. Service here is really good the workers are very friendly! Overall, would definitely recommend this cafe and would come again!

Nice cafe in Taipan. I had my breakfast there, homemade pancakes with bacon, sausage and omelette. They only use fresh ingredients that make the dish even more special. They also have pastry, pie, cookie, and cake. I love the atmosphere 💯 Friendly staff

We bumped into this café with a cool looking vibe. The carrot cake was delicious and so as the beverages. The staff needs some training though, one lady was assisting my order in a nasty way. Another staff just chased away a customer by not selling the cakes he wants and so we were baffled. The interior is nice though! 📸 By Kät Bonita #iamkbonita #kualalumpur #malaysia

Kids friendly place. Good ambience. Love the way they decorate this place with comfortable couches. A picture perfect background. Good food and we love the breakfast here. Friendly and helpful staff. Please call and reserve your place as this place is always full.

Tried their breakfast set and was very satisfied with their sausage, it has a very strong fragrance and going with the mustard sauce is just perfect. Ordered a cuppucino but felt like a latte as I can taste the milk more than coffee itself but the coffee is still nice. The ambiance is really good, the air-con has the perfect tempreture, not freezing cold but not until you will sweat, felt like sitting at a country side cafe, with the light music at the background, it just feel really nice to have your breakfast there

Tried few times here (both old shop and new), the food are decent. Have all kind of artisan breads. Environment is cozy best for chill out with friends. But the staffs are always not attentive (both old shop n new) , not giving menu even we had sit down for quite some times, and this happen everytime we went there, they dont seems busy as we see theres 3 persons at counter, we sit RIGHT INFRONT of them, its weekday and not full house. Thats why we do not see the needs to ring the bell 🙂. Was one time, we waited quite long until passed breakfast hour and being refused to take our order for breakfast set, that was at old shop. So the recent dine in, at last, we stand up and take the menu ourself.

Personally love the baguette that came with the mushroom soup and bread slice in the big breakfast. Sausage was decent too. Other than that, service was a huge turnoff! Was neglected by staffs and lady boss at the counter for multiple times. Totally understand their busy service but to get a reply which sounded like I was there to get a discount after asking the texture of their pizza base is really plain rude. I wasn’t born yesterday. Please don’t tell me the pizza base is hard cause it’s made of sourdough. Also, I would appreciate a good explanation and in a proper manner rather than RM2 rebate on 2 glasses of RO water. Thank you very much! 🙂

Had the blueberry waffle with scrambled eggs and fakon. Real Canadian maple syrup! It was great. The latte was great too.

After reading all the good reviews we decided to give this place a try .I can only say our experience with both food and service at this café is extremely disappointed , poor customer service that make you feel unwelcome .it seems like the server rather be anywhere else but here . Note that it wasn't lunch time and they aren't busy . After a few times for asking our food and water without response, finally our water came , without informing ,they charge you rm1 for each small glass of water , charging is alright but is there a courtesy to inform your customers our café don't provide water ? Roasted chicken wasn't fresh and the taste is quite mediocre .Unfortunately we need to pack it to feed the stray outside the street . Poor service, poor food quality , It was overall a very bad experience .

Brought by google map and check out the artisan bread here. Be there about 1pm and lots of bread not available for the moment. The pecan pie here is really delicious.

Probably the worst cafe I been in so far. I read about this cafe a couple of times and its mix review but I liked how the cafe looks so I decided to give it a try myself. I must say the food was horrible. Ordered eggs benedict was so dry. I could not even eat it. It was literally lightly buttered bun topped with old frozen Salmon, plain salad and an egg on top and on the other bun was with mushrooms but it wasn’t seasoned at all with an egg on it. It was extremely dry without any sauce on it. I also ordered the big breakfast which was shockingly bad. I couldn’t believe it because how can u ever go wrong with an English breakfast right but Oh My God it was bad. The mushroom was dry and not seasoned, the mash potatoes and egg was a joke. It was so dry that I could pick the entire thing up with a fork. You can see it on the video. The drinks were alright. Nothing to shout about. The service was bad. Although their restaurant was empty no one was able to serve us properly. We kept looking for someone to pass us salt and pepper or chilli sauce but everyone pretended not to hear or look so we got then ourselves. Overall I personally feel whoever cooked the food was lazy and has no intention of making the meal taste good. I think the owner should plan a surprise visit with a stranger and review the food themselves because I dont think anyone will want to eat in a place such as this. Its one of my worst.

I ordered the Rebasco, Mushroom Randan, and the afternoon tea set, and every dish was a 10/10. I also got the matcha and homemade kombucha and they were EXCEPTIONAL. My highlights from the afternoon tea set included the cheescake and tuna pastry. You’ll see in my last picture I licked every plate CLEAN. I drove 35 minutes from downtown KL and lemme tell you this was WORTH IT. I’d make the drive again - this is a MUST VISIT.

Cozy cafe, pleasant ambience, friendly and prompt service. We arrived before 10 on a weekend and there was ample seating available. The place filled up very quickly later. Breakfast was pleasant, but we felt the portions could have been a tad more generous.

A nice quiet cosy place for tea or lunch, (when not crowded). Came here twice in less than a month. The first time was on a public holiday. It was a little crowded but managed to get a table for 4. On that day, there were 2 customers who occupied a table for 4 each and they were on their computers. You can actually sit in this nice ambience for hours, at the expense of other waiting guests. Yes, on that holiday, a family waited for about 10 minutes before they were given a table. Thankfully they had a comfortable place to wait. Well, yesterday (Friday) it was less busy at lunch time. One section was not open (air cond off) till a few ppl took the tables. The food is mainly western. Nice options. We took the set lunch which is not much in quantity but filling enough. I was disappointed with the pumpkin soup. It was nice but I was given 1/4 of the serving bowl only. Yes, not enough to enjoy it. Must be expensive. I ordered an add on smoked duck but was surprised by the size. It's so dainty, not enough to satisfy my taste. Although I cannot deny it was good. All in all the food is good but the quantity might not be enough for a big eater. And it might be considered a little pricey.

My favourite place to go to! Environment is cozy and comfortable. The table seating is just nice for us to dine in. I love their food and drinks. Been here few times but always forget to share pictures. This is what we had. Bolognese spaghetti, croissant with egg, cheese & turkey ham. Drinks were irish coffee and iced mocha. Definetly would go back whenever Im in Taipan.

Came here on a Saturday. Lunch took awhile to prepare, so better avoid if you're in a rush. I feel the food and cakes were decent, but don't expect Michelin standard. My wife loves the bread, so all good.

Went here for tea so we had something light just to try things out. The environment is super old-school themed. Reminded me of my childhood days. We had the carrot cake, Vitamin C booster juice and also the scones. I highly recommend the scones. I even bought additional two to bring home. However, be prepared that the price for the scone is only inclusive of jams without the butter.

Good side: Good food. Fresh bakery & pastries. Comfortable ambience. Not so good side: waiting time for your order could exceed >30mins. If you don’t mind waiting, this is the place where you should spend your Sunday mornings with your family.

Food :4/5 Environment :4/5 So far the most comfort breakfast we had if the place is slightly bigger , if the table is slightly spacious will be perfect . The sourdough is delicious . We bought home a loaf too.

Best pumpkin soup ever. Service was great, they will say sorry if they overlooked or anything - which I found to be really nice. This is my second time here. Cozy ambience. I must say that their food was better than breakfast food.

Tuna wrap was a little bit too salty for my taste, but the pizza was good. Something pineapple pizza. Don't remember the name. Sorry. But anyways, ambiance of the place was nice. Gotta come back and try the lemon meringue pie some other day. *Tried the lemon meringue, and it was good! Nice, sweet yet sour. Perfect.

A homy/vintage French looking cafe. The matcha/mocha tarts were delicious and worth having a try. But the pesto, including the add-on egg and chicken breast were quite bad: pesto sauce lacked fragrance and wasn’t seasoned much, if at all; poached egg was souring on the white part, probably because they added vinegar in the water for poaching; chicken breast was very dry even to a chicken breast lover like me. And I didn’t exactly appreciate the fact that there’s no free flow of water, while they charge service tax with almost no service other than taking orders (sugar/salt/sauces are on the self-service condiment bar).

Nice place to work if your table is near to the power sockets. Table size is big and comfortable for me to put my legs under. The air temperature is tuned to be good for me to work without putting on my jackets. I ordered the chestnut cake as I want a cake with less sweetness. Tastes nice although it's not my fav tbh. As for iced long black, it's a bit too bitter and 'woody' to my liking, but its taste remains in my mouth which i don't really hate it. However, for latte it turns out to be nice blend with milk and tastes much better. The price is bit expensive given the small portion of the iced long black and with about 6oz of latte. Price for cake however is still acceptable imo. I know this place is famous for its bread but I did not try it out. The place is great for those who come in for a short break, but not for the long hour stay like me.

A friend recommended this place and decided to have lunch here today together with my family. Very nicely decorated shop, so homey and so comfortable. One note to add, their Christmas decode was really beautiful. Food and coffee is good and the service crew is friendly. Had a chat with the lady boss, such a cheerful character! We really love the place. I strongly recommend their Sourdough, we really love its texture and taste. They sell a pretty wide range of specialty breads. Had a good time here and will definitely come back again!
