    During a busy day, there will be around 200 customer vehicles parking around and at the RM2 public carpark next to the hospital (this is excluding the staff vehicles). The service here is extremely ill-conceived and slow even though there are still several friendly and kind staffs here. Both the ground and first floor were packed with patients so you can throw social distancing out of the window. I came for a simple hearing checkup appointment for my child and it took me almost 3 hours of waiting before I could do the quick 10-minute checkup. I cannot imagine the stress and frustration a family will go through if a member is here for a more serious illness or is admitted through the emergency section because the waiting is excruciatingly long and torturing. All-in-all, I would say the less you have to come to this place the better. Illness combined with a long waiting time is a recipe for disaster.

    System very bad, even you paid in emergency reception but their system doesn't have any record, and charge you again if you didn't keep the receipt and keep it in mind that you have paid. Doctor i met is different during my 5 times of visit, each doctor each treatment style, and carpark is the worst ever.

    2021 Staff OK. Some staff quite rude and some staff friendly. Environment always super crowded. Parking horrible, usually parking at fee parking area. The hospital system suck, everytime came to check up. patient have to waste time queue and register before check up at the clinic. didn't know what's the function. because Penang general hospital didn't do like that. Service just OK. Not too good. Had a ceaser maternity surgery here. the doctor stitched my stomach tilt. Overall 4/10

    I was in Kenanga 1 Wad. At 7.00am 15th Oct 2023 I observed the truly professional performance of 2 young trainee nurses - whose names I didn't have a chance to get - tasked to change the uniform and sheets of the relative in Bed 23. They went about their duty in a very skillful and efficient way with great teamwork between themselves. They also ensured the patient was always in a safe state throughout the process. Their dedication deserves commendation and Iwish them well in their career. I was in fact in-and-out care-giving to an elderly relative during 9-20 Oct 2023 in the Wad. Thanks to the surgeons, doctors, nurses and general service providers, the relative is now discharged. During his hospitalization most of the nurses and doctors provided professional and competent services to him. I particularly want to thank the nurses Norsharizan & Norhayati, and physiotherapists Faza & Wani for their excellent dedication and professionalism. They showed self confidence in communicating with patients and their family members, took time to do great jobs. Their conduct are good examples for other competent caregivers.

    It's a big, modern hospital, equipped for almost any patient. For a government hospital, that is commendable. However, that also means literally everyone goes here because you only pay RM1. From the parking lot to the doctor's room, it's packed like a sardine can and there are just not enough staff to handle everyone's cases on a scrutiny, which is understandable. Only come here if you MUST or if you are referred by a clinic to come here. I'd say Sungai Petani is due for another government hospital.

    My mum fainted in toilet and vomited. Waited from 5pm to 7pm to meet Dr. The Dr did ecg n some blood test n ask to come at 11pm.the nurse ask to come at 12.30am, result pending n at 2.30am the result still pending.once met the Dr he said everything is normal. He didn't even give any pain killer or muscle relaxant even though my mum complained of shoulder pain. Not even any La to sooth her pain.very bad experience. Pity my mum.

    Most of the psychiatrist Dr here are not even kind especially the female. Mostly will argue with you and you will have to listen and accept everything without them accepting or acknowledging the patient problem first., also depends on what Dr you will get. You will most probably get more depressed coming here. I prefer Pantai Hospital. 4 years coming to this hospital but still not a lot of improvement even though eating the medication consistently. The Dr will always change when you have an appointment and they will most probably ask you again to explain or how are you diagnosed. Today is the worse Dr I ever met in the field of psychiatrist. And because of her, i will no longer visit this psychiatrist at this Hospital. This Dr will not even try to believe your story. They are very firm and strict when talking, not even soft spoken, so I don't understand how this kind of Dr are treating people that have emotional problem.

    Too late to review pt.. my mom went to this hosp to see Dr in emergency dept. My mom c/o numbness over body n mouth.. unable to talk properly.. category as green zone pt.. my mom also had severe headache too.. bp high 150/80 but still nvr seen by Dr immediately, almost 3 hrs+ waited there.. ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผ still no response.. I just decided to bring my mom to private hosp..it's my personal review on wat has happened to me n my family. Totally dissapointed.. hope the hospital can tk any action on giving better service..

    Bad Service In 2019 my grandmother masuk then nvr come out, the nurse even ask our grandmother to leave or transfer her to other hospital due to lack of bed/seat within 1st week. In 2020 my uncle also masuk this hospital then mampus due to head injuries then recently my friend's father also masuk due to intracerebral hemorrhage, when they arrived the kecemasan there the nurse ask them to wait but after that they waited like 4-5 hours then only the doctor come and check my friend's father's situation then he told them its too late and now my friend's father's situation is quite serious rn.

    Best to come via public transport or e-hailing as carpark is limited. Expect long queue at most counters and clinics unless you reach there very early and you belong in the exceptional category. Nevertheless the service at point of contact be it administrative or clinical is good, as good as, if not better than some private hospitals. Cost is ultra cheap or free for regular check ups and medications. Getting your monthly (or other frequency) medicines is easy via pre order and collect, drive thru or by post. In all, you have to decide whether your condition allows you to wait longer to get an appointment for a check up or some procedures. If yes, then this hospital is for you.

    The treatment was nearly take 5-6 hours to a patient Each stage must wait between 40-30 minutes Sometime it's can reach 1-2hours And the reason always same too many patient So disappointed to take one treatment need to spend 1/4 day at hospital Tragedy betul tiz hospital

    Bad hospital management! My dad admitted to ward but sorang muka doctor pon ssh nk nmpk. My dad's condition worsen cuz he didn't get enough care and attention from the doctors. My dad is in so much pain but all they do is the iv drops. I really hope this hospital can improve their management and care for the patients more.

    First of all the customer service is very bad and unprofessional. Second of all, even though THEY were the one who set an appointment for me to see the doctor, they have the audacity to ask me why i came when the doctor is not available like bffr. Lastly, they gave me medication without checking if the meds were necessary and I didn't even get to see the doctor that day, (not to mention i paid to see the doctor) do i need to elaborate more?

    Very bad in handling service and management. Too bad compare to other government hospital. Last week i go to other hosp. and we need to wait for some time ( quite long) but it worth and satified bcs we understand this is government. But here in HSAH, in wad kenanga 1 very dissapointed of waiting too long time. Need to CT scan so patient need to fasting. Fasting then cannot proceed with CT scan. CT scan need to postponed on next week. See we waiting for long time without "kepastian yang sahih". Next , patient already been told by senior doctor maybe to discharge on the next day. From morning we waiting till afternoon, senior doctor said again to the "that doctor" can be discharge so please proceed with the prosedur ( i understand that senior ask the "that doctor" to proceed with discharge thing la in quick. But until evening 5.30pm , no 1 letter or note , status of discharge give to us. We waiting from morning unting 6pm. Fuh. Then other doctor below "that doctor " did it. "That female doctor" very bad. I saw her personalities bettween patient also bad since yesterday. For that doctor,remember your responsibilities. i just want to appreciate The nurse and MA, they are very good and also the senior doctor.
