Great hotel considering it's rates and the service is outstanding. The location is strategic between the charming Gent and the beach town Knokke, whereas the hotel itself is on the countryside.

Very good hotel and breakfast!

We have enjoyed everything about the hotel. The hotel is located in a beautiful green area in between Ghent and Bruge. The staff were very nice and breakfast was fabulous with a variety of items Value for money was also very high.

Can’t believe the breakfast at Cleythil, it’s amazing! the service and attention to detail, including looking after the kids, is second to none. The family room was also huge and comfy. The location is in the beautiful countryside, perfect distance from Bruges or Calais if you’re travelling back to the UK. But I must emphasise, the service from the receptionists to the chef was absolutely fantastic.

It has been one my home away from home in Maldegem. The people are amazing. The breakfasts are fantastic, and the beds are comfy.

Nice clean, quiet, and comfortable

Beautiful hotel in a peaceful green surrounding. The rooms and the rest of the hotel were very clean. Lots of space in the room and a Nespresso coffee machine is at your disposal for when you wake up. The bed was comfortable. Excellent choice of beers in the bar. Lots of parking space and a restaurant is at your disposal on site. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come back.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Rooms are clean and tidy. There’s a bar downstairs with different drinks and few snacks (great pizza!). Perfect place to stay for one night 👍

Fantastic welcome from the hosts at this lovely hotel. Situated between Ghent and Brugges, we used the hotel for a stop before visiting Brugges and our return to the UK but we could have happily stayed for a week! We had booked a family room which had an excellent set up with a king-size bed downstairs and a few singles upstairs, along with a TV area; the room was very spacious. The host greeted the children with bath toys and bath salts for children which helped them feel very welcome. The included breakfast was very good and again the hosts had set up a table for us with colouring etc for the children in advance. A definite gem and would recommend highly.

This was the cleanest, most tranquil peaceful hotel of our entire 5 month vacation in EU. We can't wait to go back. The owner was personable & the hotel is gorgeous set in the countryside

Great little hotel. We loved the extended room which accommodated our family of 5 easily. 2 adults downstairs next to the ensuite and the 3 kids upstairs in the massive lounge area. Attached restaurant was a bit pricey but overall lovely place.

Despite the lockdown protocols, the staff did everything possible to make my stay comfortable and relaxing. Lovely hotel, beautiful setting and large rooms.
