We stopped to spend the night in town and we had an early dinner here. Great service, cold beer, and nice facility.

We had a magnificent meal at Oppihoek on our way to the Eastern Cape. Everybody's meal was perfectly cooked and delicious. We had really tender and juicy Fillet, the Eisbein was cooked to perfection, the chicken schnitzel was tender and tasty, and the nachos just perfect!! The owner and staff were also very friendly. Our waitress was 10/10. We will certainly be back again.

Ordered smoked pork ribs, however it was plain pork ribs. Not a problem I guess but the manager/chef/owner defensively ranted about us not appreciating his signature dish and that the locals love the dish. Well we are not locals and will never visit again.

Friendly staff, family friendly, love the atmosphere and brilliant, creative food. A wonderful experience.
