As part of your ticket purchase for the Girona Cathedral, entry to the Girona Museum of Art is included. Most of the art exhibits are of Cataluña's pre-renaissance art. The exhibits are well organized, and many works are incredibly beautiful. I suggest you take the audio guide as the exhibits make more sense. We enjoyed the visit.

Nice museum, art mainly limited to Prerenaissance. Be sure to request the discount pass for the other museums in Girona.

It definitely worth a visit. A lot of romanic and gothic masterpieces. The picture i'm posting is kind of a 3D artwork, a sculpture composed to be hung as a picture, i think it's XVI century maybe? There is a funny museum note, about this Saint Sebastian.

Insightful museum about the history and developments of religion and art in Girona and fringes of the Catalunya region. I've learnt immensely about the history and art pieces of San Felix by the likes of Juan de Burgunya and the masters before him. Highly recommend this place for an eye-opening and enriching experience.

The museum's is nothing special, only Catalán artists and history. The only reason we visited is that if you buy a ticket for the Girona Catedral, they force you to buy a combined ticket, at the museum office.

What a wonderfull museum, the collection of romanic figures and capitals are of un unprecedented beauty. In addition to this you can see medieval and renaissance tabloids and pictures, in particular the altarpiece of St. Feliu

A very vast and unique art museum! Which display marvellous pieces of the history of Girona from Romanesque all the way to Renaissance style. The audio guide really helped us focus on the little details of the statues and paintings so we could appreciate it more! Luckily it was all in English. We would highly recommend playing all the recordings at the main entrance (WiFi works only there) so that you can hear them while walking around each room!

Skip the religious bits and go straight to the modern artists.

There is an interesting collection of catalan art through history. I would recommend it, especially if you enjoy seeing decorative art. I enjoyed the visit overall, but one thing kind of soured our experience: there was a rude security guard who actually YELLED at my family when we tried to enter through the direction that we were directed towards by the staff who checked our ticket! We later saw other people enter in that same direction, so I still don't understand why he did that.

Nice and cool in the hot weather! There is a lot of early religious art, which can be a bit repetitious, but also some other exhibitions of Catalan artists which, although they aren't likely to set the world on fire, were quite interesting

Small and repetitive musuem with a small variety of works available to see. A barely passable place to kill time.

This museum is another must-see for visitors to Girona. However enjoyment of its richness of exhibits is inhibited by the complete absence of a paper guide in English or even in Spanish (Castillian) which is why I have awarded this ocation four rather than five stars. For me the highlight were the astonishing (and huge) altar pieces, the illuminated manuscripts and Neapolitan paintings, but there is really so much to enjoy here. A free downloadable audioguide is available but does not do justice to the museum.

😠 I don't know why people say this is a beautiful place worth visiting! This is just a metal bridge (for pedestrians), nothing more than that. Even though it was made by the guy who built the Eiffel Tower in Paris; guess because of that.
