Best Bengali Food Hotel in Guwahati, you'll get any Bengali dishes here undoubtedly. Thalis are so damn tasty and has included so many items that you don't have to add any other dishes or items. If you ask them for extra papad, chutney, salad, dal or whatever you want ; they will surely provide you. Do not feel hesitation!! Pet bhar ke Khao😀 In my thali : • sada bhat (plain rice) • plain dal • mix veg • aloo potol rosha • misti kumurer bora (pokora) • sutki chutney (dry fish) • aloo posto • pudina chutney • salad • aloo bhaji • aloo seddho • papad And lastly chicken curry ✨ The food was absolutely tasty 😋

A must visited bengali restaurant for food lovers in guwahati. I ordered the basmati thali which comprised of unlimited rice, dal, salad, one mix veg, soya bean sabji, papad, dried fish chutney, aloo pitika, pudina chutney, brinjal fry. I ordered the katla fish (local) the prices are nominal. Restaurant was full of people where one can seat in first floor or ground floor. Overall a good experience.

Ordered from swiggy their veg thali and sahi paneer, the quality of food is very good , every item they serves tastes like you are at the comfort of your home , the paneer was very soft and the gravy was well balanced overall it is a very good place to have thali , i can eat that on daily basis i would say , no over oil in food like other hotel. Good job 👏

This is a tiny place on a hidden street and our driver brought us here when we requested local food. The food is lovely, thali has a wide variety of items and the staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. Second helpings are provided generously. Atmosphere is relaxed and just how a little local place would be, this is obviously not a fancy restaurant. It is small, neat and clean.

Probably the best Bengali Hotel I’ve ever been to. Fish is the specialty of this hotel and there’s a variety of fish available, both local and chalani. But even if you take just a Veg Thali then you’ll get a lot of items. The items which can be seen in the picture of the thali is just represtative. You’ll get extra papad, besan-brinjal fritter, dried-fish chutney (shidol), and variety of other sabzi/bhaji. You also get an option in rice (Aijong or Basmati). All of these you’ll get at a very good price. A must recommend for all.

The hotel atmosphere is nice and clean. But what I expected in terms of food quality is really not met although it is good compared to other hotels. Rice and daal quality is ok but other sabji is as usual. You can visit there for lunch of course but you should take it as a premium hotel.

If you're going for some work to Guwahati. And you're at Kamakhya Railway station. And if you feel hungry or super hungry, then you can try this place. It's a super delicious Bengali restaurant and it's upto your expectation. Normal Veg thali is super fine.

Good hotel for lunch and dinner.. Rice thali is tasty but can be improved. Stuffs are sightly cold and so the taste is not coming up to the mark... Overall is a good experience I had

Completely Unhygienic restaurant , with smell all over in dining area. Not suggested for vegetarians and even families to avoid, visiting the same. I visited as guided by locals to get good food, but after visiting the restaurant and prima facie experience on table and food serving ,I left the place and eaten outside in small eatery. Overall not a good experience, it may be good for locals due to their different food habits.

Food was delicious once upon a time but the same has been detoriated nowadays. People throng this place because of the name and it's brand. The atmosphere is good for family but lacks in taste of its food whatever you order.

Good place to experience Bengali Cuisine. A veg thali is enough to fill your tummy. No extra charges for extra fillings. Just seat and eat. Good behaviour too. One can experience the ambience of marriage reception at this place. N.B: Finding the place is difficult initially. Dont rely on google map just ask passers-by, you will reach quickly.

If you are a Bengali food lover staying in Guwahati, then there will be nothing better than Maa Manasha Hotel. But food quality in Maa Manasha Hotel is very poor during dinner time. So if you like to have delicious food, then only come for doing lunch only.

Maa Manasha Hotel is a well-known Bengali restaurant in Guwahati, Assam. It has been serving delicious and authentic Bengali cuisine for many years. The food is always fresh and tasty, and the service is prompt and friendly. However, the one downside of Maa Manasha Hotel is that it can be a bit overpriced. The dishes are not excessively expensive, but they are definitely more expensive than what you would pay at most other restaurants in Guwahati. Despite the slightly high prices, I would still recommend Maa Manasha Hotel to anyone looking for a good Bengali meal. The food is excellent, and the experience is worth the extra money.

This is literally the best hotel where you get good Bengali food at a pocket friendly price. The food is great and well cooked. The staffs are well behaved and the waiting time for your food is also very less. I have been eating in this hotel from my childhood and still I can assure that this is the best in the area. If you visit this place and want to have a good, authentic Bengali meal then this is the place.

Good food, visited a lot. Thali is value for money.

  • 5/5 Rumpa D. 6 months ago on Google
The perfect Bengali lunch one can ask for. Their staff is super courteous and service is also fast. You can taste the freshness of food and every item is very delicious. Difficult to find it's match in any other city.

We always did swiggy now went for lunch..worth it...bengali food💯 Mutton chicken fish basmati thali all for 2 was for ₹860 only.. Service is also fast

Smell of toilet around the seats. Shop is in a dingy lane which has never seen sunlight. Filthy and dirty Thali is if Rs 150 and one bowl of rice is Rs 140 , they are simply looting you at the name of sweet gestures of service. Food taste is full of oil and tasteless

Well it's pretty much great the tastes are fine not bad but better than average. I like it the dishes but there's like management problems. I get it there's too many people but there needs to be management done like i ordered paneer but i didn't get it because the person that I ordered the paneer probably forgot. Anyways it's nice

Amazing food and very cheap. Best mutton in town. Not good to dine in at, but you can always order online. Pretty fast delivery too.

  • 4/5 busy b. 8 months ago on Google
All the fish dishes were good and the quantity served was also generous. I felt the rice was undercooked . The place being inside a market is slightly difficult to reach and also not very hygienic.

  • 3/5 Kanishka D. 1 year ago on Google
Food quality is good. Located in a very congested place. No parking available. Old fashioned. If you want to have non veg items at a lower budget then you can visit.

  • 1/5 Philashon M. 9 months ago on Google
Fraud Behaviour!! I ordered a full plate mutton which along with others, but they sent a half plate instead I paid the amount and the delivery was made. It was a very unethical behaviour from their side. i believe this is not the first time they did this. Very unprofessional behaviour.

  • 4/5 Debasish C. 1 year ago on Google
The food quality is very good. They serve enough quantity of food in a plate. It has many options like fishes (different types), meat etc. The service is also fast. The place is clean but the ambiance is not that great. The toilets need improvement.

  • 5/5 Rumi D. 10 months ago on Google

The food quality is superb over here , the staffs are well behaved and efficient though during rush hours they tend loose track of their customers .

Food and service was good but found this tag inside the dal bowl. Seems like a beverage tag. So dicey about the hygiene.

I had my first lunch in guwahati and it was fabulous just because of the food offered to me and my wife. People are nice, food is excellent. If i get chance will visit again and again for lunch and dinner. I wont forget the taste which i enjoyed most. ❤️😍🤩

It is a Bengali restaurant serves various Bengali traditional dishes .one thing I must say about their cooking it's taste great. If you are in kamakhya & you love Bengali dishes then it's your must go restaurant. Don't forget to taste their "Shidol shutki" a popular dish of Assam and Bengal.

Nice place to have Bengali Cuisine. Food tastes like homemade. I've been here a couple of times and the experience is great. Highly recommended for lunch if you are in the vincity.

  • 4/5 Debabrata B. 2 years ago on Google
Well a hotel food cant be like one's own home. But this one... Bengali style thali and additional items like mutton, chicken, fish and more. But one thing to NOTE. You dont get snacks. Not even Tea.

  • 5/5 Prashanjit K. 2 years ago on Google
Very good thali available here.. lil bit costly but a class taste.. if u ever visit in Kamakhya station or maligaon then must visit here for lunch.. i am sure u will addicted with thali

  • 5/5 barnali d. 1 year ago on Google
I have never visited the place but have ordered food from there a couple of times. The food is terribly awesome and best part is most of the items are traditional bengali food which you do get to eat on a daily basis ... but can get from here at a reasonable price. The most interesting part of it is that while ordering online food with almost everything you order you get extra items which are not even mentioned in menu.❤️❤️

  • 1/5 Daisy B. 1 year ago on Google
Too overrated. Found a chicken hair in curry. Previously the restaurant was really good but now they have become very unhygienic. Not ordering again. It was my fav restaurant but now I would never visit or order.

Back in 2015-2018 when i used visit this hotel the meal served here was very delicious and was worth the hype but now it has became pathetic. Maybe its the over popularity so they serve whatever they want to. If someone would ask me now about this hotel i wouldn't recommend at all. Unless they change their chefs and improve their service.
