It is an oldest community centre supported by the Ariyalai community. It was established in the year 1949. They are running free lessons on the following areas. (1)) English language. (2) Sinhala language. (3) Tailoring. (4) Facial makeup. (5) Cake icing . They are planning to organise classes for children to train them to practice Hindu religious traditions and good moral. It serve the community of Ariyalai. They own a library where most of the daily news papers are presented for the public to read free of charge. They organise functions on special occasions, games and cultural shows and competitions . Presently the community centre has decided to build an upstairs building with 3 floors at a cost of 65.2 million Sri Lanka Rupees. They are looking forward for financial support from their community for the above mission. Let their mission be a great success.
