Short review, go somewhere else, anywhere. Long review, ordered the recommend grilled tray and madras with chicken and garlic nán bread. The grilled tray way so so. Warmed, store bought veggie with the protein on top with a bowl watered out sause that I never have seen in any Indian place before, taste as bland as it looks. The lamb I eat half, to dry and could not finish. The madras is supposed to be spicy but this was unbearable and not even the most spicy on the resturants spice scale. Did not taste anything but chili. The nán bread was boring, strewn pieces of garlic on top and baked in a pizza oven, burned underneath and pale on top. Only ok thing was the rice in comparison. Also no changing table in any of the bathrooms. Had to leave our son in his wagon to go find a properly equipped bathroom elsewhere.

Should have taken the 1 star a bit more seriously 😐, I never write bad reviews but I couldn’t stop myself when it comes to Green Chili. I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Green Chilli. The service was painfully slow, leaving us waiting for an unacceptable amount of time. To make matters worse, the menu was a complete letdown. The food lacked any sort of flavor or authenticity, and the limited options were a far cry from what I expected. It is by no means an Indian restaurant, I mean when a meal portion has hardly 20ml curry in it, why do you even take orders for naan for the same portion, what do we eat the naan with, water ? For people who have given more than 3 stars, I bet these guys have never set foot in an Indian restaurant, I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a quality dining experience.

Great paneer, good service, perfect location

Cold food and dirty tables are the highlights of this place. The waiters work very slowly and let the left over food and dishes stay on the tables for a long time. The sallad was so old that the leaves were almost shrunk. The price is too much for a place like this. Sadly the location is good and people would come back here blindly, but in reality it should be put down.

All in all the food was delicious. The service was unsatisfyinf though, our server coulndt remember our order. He wasnt rude but he wasnt friendly either. When he wiped a table he didnt do it properly and he didnt take the empty glasses with him immediatly (which doesnt really make sense). The whole staff didn't seem like they were enjoying their job. Tables stayed dirty a long time after guest left. The food was pricey but i think for the location it was okay

The restaurant seemed nice. Therefore we chose it. The table was not clean. The waiter put the plates without cleaning. She cleaned after our demand. The toilet was very dirty. These were about the hygenie. There was not wifi... I ate butter chicken. It was so so good. The rice came extraaaa. Therefore it deserved there

The service was very poor and the food was below average with very less quantity. The food wasn’t warmed up. I wouldn’t even keep this restaurant as my last option.

The place is not clean, overpriced for what you get and a disappointment. The prawn tandoori was not properly grilled. The salmon was bland, the chai had no spice, just milk. Service was slow. It’s a good location but a let down. Gives Indian restaurants a bad name for such low quality. It could be so much better if they cared a bit more rather than being a tourist trap.

!!Excellent food/excellent staff!!! This was actually our first time to visit an indian restaurant coming all the way from UK.I and my companions were quite nervous on what to order but due to the amazing service of a dark coloured staff from Africa(Guy) who recommended suitable meals for us,we were absolutely appreciative and happy..His service were top notch and a big kudos to him.I watched him for a while and realized he was at the service of almost every guests that evening. He is indeed a big boost to your restaurant. Thanks!!

We arrived before 9.30 and the restaurant didn't shut until 11. We were told we couldn't have starters, I think because we were too late. The drinks and food took a long time to arrive but the food was actually good. When we finished the waiter came up and pushed the card machine at us before the table had been cleared and we weren't offered dessert or coffee. At that point everyone had disappeared and no one said goodnight to us. Just not very welcoming to be honest.

This place gets busy, so reserve or go early. I enjoyed my prawn puri and the mixed tandoori grill was very nice indeed. Only the garlic naan was a disaster - like a dry underdone pizza. There was a jackdaw flying around the tables, so even if I didn't appreciate the naan bread, he did!

I popped in for lunch on a recent trip to Malmö and I was not disappointed. The staff were charming and efficient. I ordered at the bar didn't have to wait long until my delicious meal was served by a very pleasant waiter. The chicken balti was delicious and plentiful. I had ordered a naan bread which arrived fresh and delicious - but an extra portion of beautifully cooked rice also arrived. Together with a drink, my bill total was 219 SEK (£16) which I consider extremely good value! I had plenty to eat and everything was very enjoyable **I note a previous review which says anyone offering more than 3 stars must never have set foot in an Indian restaurant - and would like to say that I have dined in Indian restaurants all over the world - many of them in India! I will definitely return when next in Malmö.

Nice atmosphere and excellent price. The food was good (not phenomenal) but good although the portion sizes are quite small.

Well this was unexpected. A properly spiced curry in Europe. With really nice beer as well. The restaurant is in a row of busy out door eateries in the small square in Malmö - it's easily missed. If you're in Sweden and want an authentic curry then this is the place to head for. Recommended.

I came to visit this place because of its location and sadly it wasn't up to the standards because of the following; The food was cold The tables were left untidy when customers left the place during my entire visit (I was there for an hour) The waiters didn't communicate either in Swedish or English so it was tricky to order or get recommendation I was so happy about the small steel bowl on top of 🔥 but it turned out to be empty and only for show The food looks good in the picture but it was really expensive and it didn’t taste half good

We had lunch there today. You can choose 2 dishes out of 5. Comes with rice and sallad. For the price it was ok. Decoration didnt impress. Neither service but staff was friendly.

Good food but a bit expensive. The spices level are always one level up than the one you ask so be careful. Dont expect real indian taste. Dont order butter chicken, it is too sweet. Naan are the best

Food was good, but the wait was way longer than average and the only pleasant staff member was the runner who collected our empty plates. won't go again.

The waiters did not really talk to us (no welcome, enjoy your meal etc). The food was good. The toilet not the best.

The food I ordered was the same but this time it was rushed, uncooked and raw. I felt like throwing up. Also I don't know what changed from my last visit but the whole place seemed empty and kinda falling apart.

Negatives: Overpriced; you pay 35 krones for a garlic naan and you pay 11 krones for tap water! Not that much rice. Positives: My main dish was very delicious, I had the Kong Prawns Goa Style. I asked them to do it without Chili and they did. So it was slightly chili. The waiters were nice & attentive.

Prices and spices have gone up! This used to be a favorite place of mine but either there is new management or the chef was exchanged. Even the courses that are supposed to be milde was spicy (not extremely, but still). The kitchen planning seems off an the bread where kind of cold (on more than our table). Still the tastes are ok and I will give it a new chance because I live close, otherwise I would not return.
