Very good sushi Review based on 14 biter Shogun sushi

5 stars, with comments. Top 3 overall in Malmö. The best nigiri sushi in the city. The quality and size reflects in the price. Whenever I have business in VH this is my choice to eat at. The staff is friendly but not too chatty. The salmon has the perfect amount of meat and fat. The pokebowl is also very delicious with a generous amount of fresh salmon. The miso soup that is included in the lunch is good, if maybe a tad too salty some days. I've had sushi around the world so I definitely know what makes good sushi. -Removed a star since it's too crowded during Corona. No obvious markings on the seats you can't sit on. I understand they want it "fancy", but it's really too many people. I counted 14 people in that not too big space at the same time sitting and eating. And then there are also people waiting in line. -Fruit flies are occasionally seen which makes me worried.

I had the chefs recommendation, chicken katsu bowl. It was great, I would definitely recommend it. Price was fair, quick service and the size was solid. Will comeback if I am in the area.

Best ebi tempura I’ve ever had. Crisp outside and tender inside. Not gummy at all. My daughter enjoyed her salmon sushi and nigiri (I enjoyed the rest of it). Husband ate his in one quick go. Miso soup was also very tasty, unlike any we’ve ever tasted. Mochi ice cream dessert for the win—pretty delicious, and refreshing. The restaurant is quite unassuming and you may also miss it while searching for turning torso but it’s is cozy inside and good pit stop. Food quality is really top notch (really good value for money) and our server is also helpful and friendly. I’d come here again and recommend to friends.

One of the best sushi experiences I've ever had. The waiting time is rather long, but that is because they make the sushi on demand which makes it very fresh. It is also rich in details, like decoration and sauces, which really show that it is just made and made care. High quality fish and ingredients, and prices that are excellently adjusted. Can only recommend it!

One of the best Asian restaurants in Malmö!!! You can enjoy a well-balanced mix of Japanese and Chinese cuisine, both with delicious sushi options and noodle warm dishes! Very friendly staff, always smiling, kind and fast to serve. I will be returning again to eat more sushi and other mains!

Food wasnt good at all... they got alot to work on. Ingredients, tastes, flavouring, etc. All else was great!

Good sushi, not the best. As a student I’m one of those people that completely hates when restaurants charge you for tap water. Sure they need to make money but you come there to eat which for me is supporting enough not some free tap water they take straight from the tap. And they even charged us 15 kr per person. Ridiculous, this makes me not wanting to come back.

Hervorragendes Sushi! Toll angerichtet! Sehr nette Bedienung. Alle waren dort sehr bemüht, dass es uns gut geht, auch wenn die Kommunikation auf Englisch etwas abenteuerlich war. Wir hatten uns extra eingelegten Ingwer bestellt, bis wir merkten, dass bei jedem Teller etwas Ingwer drauf war. Das spontane abbestellen des Ingwers hat ohne Probleme funktioniert. Eine absolute Empfehlung. Bei den Sushirollen wurde auch nicht am Inhalt gespart. Kämen wir aus Malmö, würden wir wiederkommen.

Excellent food for the price (129sek for the bento and 89 for the sushi mix - lunch prices though). We had the thickest slices of sashimi we ever had in any Japanese restaurant.

I came here to eat lunch alone today. Was met with very good service from start to finish by the young waiter serving me. The food was both good, filling and worth the price I would say. The only time I felt a little uncomfortable was when I had a run in with an older employee, but that might have been a misunderstanding. Overall very satisfied and will be returning to try more things on the menu.

Excellent executed sushi! Very tasty, very friendly, all good! Last star saved until the neiborhood becomes more coosy, in no way to blame the restaurant that the endless construction sites and parking lot doesnt make for the perfect setting.

I love this place, they give so much detail to the food.
