Food was not to our expectations. Flavorful rice birayani but the mutton was very hard and dry. Mutton curry same, no tandoori or kabab starters. Bitter salad 🥗. Enjoyed the king of good times kingfisher beer 🍺😉 Had a big expectation from review from others but was not up to expectations

We went there on an impulse, seeing the reviews. We ordered paneer tikka butter masala and chicken kadhai. The paneer was hard as pebbles, I found it a uphill battle having to eat all chunks of paneer. The chicken tasted as if it was stored in the freezer for a couple of weeks. You would think they would atleast de-frost the panner/chicken before adding it to the gravy. PS. The garlic naan was exquisite and the 2 stars are for the garlic naan.

First time here. You can sit indoors and outdoors. Alot of people go here so booking is recommended. If not you can also order through food services. Food, was good. Spices were ok. Authentic. Have been to better Indian food places in Malmö. Price, average. Interior, comfortable seats and space. Recommendation, sit outside. Service, average. But when we were there there was a lot of people. Just a bit slow. Staff were nice and polite.

An amazing dinner, surprised to find such authentic and well served food (the samosas are out of this world). In a nice cozy place. Sameer was absolutely nice to us and even explained how some items are supposed to be eaten, street food India style! ❤️🇮🇳

It was good experience having lunch on hot summer afternoon . Would love to have ala carte menu in lunch .but sadly we had to be happy with lunch menu . Chicken Palak was the standout dish . Price of cold beverages little on higher side .should not be more than 25 sek but it was 32 sek. Over all it was good experience . Situated in a happening street in Malmö . Attracts huge people

... had lunch at this restaurant last Saturday and the service was good. The food was pretty good and portion was large enough so we shared some meat dishes and palak paneer with vegetables samosas as starters. The mango lassi was yummy as it wasn’t too sweet.

A colleague suggested this restaurant to me while I was visiting Malmo. A quaint Indian restaurant with friendly service. A nice cozy terrasse out front serves as a great people-watcher in a colourful neighborhood. Don't be fooled by the size of this restaurant, the kitchen is producing terrific dishes. I started with veggie pakoras, which were crispy, light and fluffy. Along with a Kingfisher beer. Then I moved on to the main course(s). ;) Because I was indecisive, I decided to try a few dishes. Chicken Tikka masala, tender and flavourful with a good amount of spice (heat). Luckily we were sitting outside because I could feel sweat pearls beading on my forehead. :) Butter Chicken was slightly sweet and buttery smooth. More delicious rice needed to soak up that liquid gold! ;) Accompanied all this with some perfectly tender naan. And for good measure, another pint of Kingfisher. :) TBH, this was enough food for 2 people. But I was excited! If you are looking for a nice relaxing place to enjoy some home style Indian fare, this is the spot. Delicious and relatively budget friendly. I suggest sitting on the terrasse when weather permits. Not even a week back in the country, and I am already facing the vagueness and, sometimes, outright inaccuracy of ethnic food on offer. I visited Kontrast with a couple of friends and two of the dishes we ordered are staples of Indian menus around the world. And yet, something was off: my Chicken Madras had a strange sweetish aftertaste that I've never experienced anywhere else, while my friend's butter chicken has a weird yellow colour, while tasting - alas - too much of butter and little else. A highlight was my mango lassi. Very good. But why on earth was no regular lassi on the menu?

Super friendly staff. Excellent food. Not your usual Indian dishes. Great to see some other dishes than you normally have in your run of the mill restaurant. Highly recommend it.

Food was nice but there are so many better places, especially considering the high prices. Went on a weeknight and had to wait for ages for the food to come, it wasn't even that busy. Ordered the kids a (no spice) korma, and of course, it came spicy. Had to send it back and ask for the butter chicken. Meat hadn't been cooked long enough, still rubbery. Pishwari naan was overly sweet, like just sugar in there, like a dessert. Won't be going again. Recommend Delhi instead 👍

Tried many different dishes and they have all been delicious. The customer service is also excellent, and the one time the staff made a mistake with the order they fixed it quickly and added a bonus dish as well. Highly recommended!

Nice Indian food, great hospitality and awesome interiors that make feel you are in an Indian restaurant. Food is not spicy, we tried Paneer tikka masala with Butter Naan and it was really nice.

One of the nicest India restaurants in Malmo. We have tried the chicken biryani option which we really like. If you don't like spicy or you don't want the food to be super spicy, you need to let them know because the default is too spicy. It was also a bit tricky to find it since when the tent is open the name is not visible. Price was ok and the staff were really welcome.

Amazing Indian restaurant with authentic food! Found it hard to find good Indian food in Skåne but this place is definitely recommended. The owner is really nice also and helpful when ordering - they even did a custom dish for me which was YUMM. ☺️

Really good Indian food in the Middle of Möllevångstorget. Was not possible to get table outside in the for once nice Swedish weather. Ordereded some mixed starters where a chickpea mixed thing was the best. We shared two dishes on three persons and that was just enough together with a garlic naan (really good). Many reviews complain on slow service. It was ok, and perhaps what you can expect at Möllevångstorget when it is nice weather and many people want to eat out

Amazing, probably the best Indian food I have had in Scandinavia. Their lamb dishes are really to die for. Good to dine in or takeout.
