Lovely food, although the greeting was questionable as we were harshly scolded for not answering the phone and apparently almost risked to lose our reservation (nobody mentioned that we should confirm the reservation the day itself). Given the price you are expected to pay, you are expecting to get an A+ service vs being reprimanded the moment you enter the restaurant

Traditional Valtellinesan restaurant. Beautiful location and elaborated dishes. We particularly enjoyed the pizzoccheri. Quite expensive, but what you pay is what you get.

Newly renovated guest rooms. Kitchen still outstanding with local dishes. Try the dried meat bresaola or fried cheese with green salad chicorino! Risotto is also very good but very rich with cheese. All in all high five for a very nice evening! One piece of advise. Parking is limited. Perhaps you can find a space above the cave where a second parking lot is. Reservation highly advised!

OMG!!! Amazing food and service. The best meal I had, while in Italy for a week. Try the blueberry grappa as a way to end your meal. You won't ever regret going here. It's in a cave in Northern Italy.

One in a kinda experience that everyone deserves to try at least once. Let's start with the location. It is a crotto, which means old Italian style restaurant. The indoors is very cozy, traditional and you feel so welcome and comfortable. The food is sophisticated but still tastes genuinely Italian. The portions are formidable and flavors and taste combinations are wonderfully blended together. The staff is kind, precise and professional. My wife is celiac, the staff remembered from the beginning and they do all their best to make her comfortable. In my wife, a opinion it was the best eating it experience she has had since being diagnosed with celiac.
