Frö takes you on an amazing Nordic food experience that is both delicious and innovative. The service is not only excellent but we loved chatting with people who work there about all of the details of each ingredients in our dishes. Ambience is cosy and welcoming. If you are a food lover - I highly recommend you visiting Frö when in Sälen.

My partner and I were lucky enough to get a table at frö during our ski holiday during Easter, and we must say: Wow....just wow! All the courses and wines were outstanding, and the service was top-notch! We could not put a finger on anything we would have done differently, and (without bragging ;) ) - we've eaten at both The Alchemist and Noma. Only the highest recommendations from us!

Had an overnight stay and dinner at the lovely Frö restaurant. Was our first proper trip away with our new baby and it was truly wonderful. The location is magical. The summer season brings a clam to the landscape. The food spoke honestly of the environment and the tasting menu was a journey that was well balanced with a beautiful selection of well sorced produce. The staff where so accommodating to the baby being with us and made us feel very comfortable. Wine list is priced well with lots of interesting bottles to choose from. The restaurant is worth a journey to experience. 5 star experience!

Best fine dining in Sälen and quite possibly in all of Dalcarlia. Unique, locally sourced menu.

I had really high hope going to Frö, the food and service was above and beyond those expectations. I am vegetarian and the food choices where impeccable. I believe this is one of the best food experiences I have had. I am quite used to going to high end restaurants and this was nothing but fine dining, in a relaxed and fairly casual setting. I would recommend this to anyone, but if you have a fine palette then I couldn't recommend this enough.

Had the pleasure of dining last weekend and had a wonderful evening, the food and service were impeccable. Particular praise to our waiter, she was excellent. Have the gin and tonic.
