Big rooms, well priced, friendly check in. No noice from highway, even fresh milk in the fridge

Exceptionally warm hosts. I enjoyed a tour of the historic Victorian Rectory. Spacious room, sensitively decorated with antique furnishings, my favourite being the art deco bedroom furniture. Well placed just off the highway midway between Johannesburg and Durban. It was a much-needed and welcoming resting point on my drive from Gaborone to Durban. I hope to return.

Beautiful setting, lovely hosts, incredible coffee and a general relaxing and homey air. View of Platberg and location near fantastic areas such as the Golden Gate National Park and Sterkfontein dam make for a fantastic holiday base.

The place is homely, the hosts were great to us. Kids enjoyed playing tennis and we had fun.

Beautiful, warm and cozy space with hospitality from the host. The bed and the pillows, the best we have ever experienced. Definitely coming back.
