I
am
always
a
big
fan
and
supporter
of
Mugg
and
Bean,
it
is
my
favourite
restaurant
with
my
favourite
dish,
but,
Mugg
and
Bean
Harrismith
was
very
disappointing.
I
always
order
the
exact
same
dish
every
time
I
go
to
Mugg
and
Bean
because
I
know
exactly
what
to
expect
and
how
delicious
it
is
going
to
be.
I
believe
the
chefs
at
Mugg
and
Bean
Harrismith
might
not
have
the
same
recipe
as
every
other
Mugg
and
Bean
in
South
Africa
regarding
the
'Sesame
Chicken
Strip
Veg
Bowl'
because
there
were
quite
a
few
big
differences
which
lead
to
a
very
disappointing
meal.
Firstly,
there
was
no
soy
sauce
-
it
was
served
with
sweet
chilli
sauce,
after
which
I
had
to
request
soy
sauce.
Secondly,
the
waitress
brought
me
a
BBQ
basting
sauce
and
said
that
they
do
not
have
soy
sauce,
which
is
strange
as
I
have
never
had
that
dish
without
soy
sauce.
Thirdly,
the
only
vegetable
that
was
basically
in
the
dish
was
bitter,
cold
cabbage
-
I
was
lucky
if
I
had
5
thin
juliette
slices
of
bell
pepper.
Fourthly,
this
was
the
first
time
I've
had
the
rice
served
as
basmati
-
which
there
was
no
issue
with
and
it
had
some
peas
and
carrots
in,
so
at
least
there
was
a
bit
more
vegetables
to
cancel
out
the
bitterness
of
the
cabbage.
Fithly,
the
chicken/beef
strips
are
usually
smothered
in
a
sweet
sauce
-
my
chicken
strips
were
so
dry
and
over-fried
they
tasted
like
cardboard.
Lastly,
there
seems
to
be
no
care
for
hygienic
work
practices
as
I
found
a
hair
in
one
of
my
chicken
strips
which
put
me
off
of
my
meal
completely.
I
would
also
like
to
recommend
to
the
manager
or
owner
that
if
you
are
serving
a
bottoms
drink,
please
make
sure
your
waiters
check
up
enough
on
the
table
in
order
to
actually
fill
the
drink.
Our
waitress
came
once
to
take
our
orders,
then
she
brought
all
our
drinks
at
once
and
I
hadn't
seen
her
again
until
she
brought
the
food
which
left
me
with
an
empty
glass
for
about
20
minutes.
Afterwards,
she
also
only
came
to
our
table
once
everyone
was
finished
eating
and
brought
the
bill
-
I
could
have
had
5
bottomless
drinks
in
the
time
that
we
sat
there
but
the
service
was
so
terrible
my
drink
was
only
refilled
once
as
the
waitress
never
came
to
the
table
to
check
on
our
drinks.
Also,
after
bringing
the
bill
and
sorting
out
the
payment,
the
waitress
just
left
us.
We
had
to
go
look
for
her
in
order
to
ask
for
takeaway
bags
for
the
other
leftover
dishes.
I
am
very
disappointed
in
the
quality
of
food
and
service
of
Mugg
and
Bean
Harrismith
and
they
will
most
definitely
never
be
seeing
my
again.
This
is
not
the
type
of
quality
that
Mugg
and
Bean
is
known
for.
