I think this was my first mall experience when I was a kid? My school was near by so yeah this mall has so many memories with it. Now the shops are not that crowded. New malls took all the good shops I guess. Movie Theater is one of the best in town. Always a legendary mall for many including myself.

Health guidelines for Covid19 is strictly followed. Due to pandemic movie theatres are closed. A game zone for kids can be found at the basement area with the food court. Washroom facilities are available. ATM facilities can be found at the ground floor. Stairs, elevators and escalators facilities are available. Parking spaces available at the premises. Unfortunately no proper area for seating.

When I saw the mall that year. I was fascinated and missed my country back them. That time it's December and it's family month celebrating. The visit I had was short but it was memorable. The mall was lively according to seasons and as per the local it's always a festivity in there.

Beautiful entrance, friendly security. The arcade stuff was very helpful, they were very patient as we even took a little extra time while playing the game. The food arcade was rough as it didn't offer variety of food. If you are interested in local cuisine this won't be a problem!

Good place for watching movies. The staff is good. The washrooms are clean and good. Online seats booking available there. I recommended Online booking. The price is okay and reasonable. However, the sound system did not meet the highest expectations. But the seats are very comfortable. Here you can get a moderate 3D cinema experience. The "Majestic City" in operation will be a unique concept in Sri Lanka providing diverse facilities of a high standard under a single roof for the people. Therefore, Ceylon Theatres Limited as the main promoter of the company along with their nominees had to take up the unsubscribed shares. The funding support given at this time by Peoples Bank was invaluable.

A place where you can get a very good service. There is a good space for parking.. there is a very friendly team of employees. Although the price is a bit high, you can buy quality Apple devices.. There is a very free and clean environment.

As called MC in short, the Majestic City shopping complex consists of many shops, including clothing, mobile phones, accessories, perfumery, computers, other electronic devices, gifts, watches and so many more. This place has a whole underground floor just for dining and there are so many cuisines to choose from. The prices are not that high too. There is a place for your kids to play while you shop, at your own risk of course. Leaving your kids alone in a gaming arena wouldn't be a good idea. It consists of a great cinema complex at the top level of the building with several different theatres. Some of them have 3D screening features as well. Tickets are not overpriced. Good shopping experience with so many needs you could fulfill under one roof.

Majestic city has stood the test of time and been around for a long time. It has a huge selection of shops and outlets that attract numerous consumers. I was interested in surveying the selection of eateries in the basement. There are many brands and with different cuisines. The most popular seem to be the Thai, Malaysian and Sri Lankan (Vilasa Cottage) food selections. A little more of unique names would enhance the pull to this location. There is also a stall for Elephant House with its famous hotdogs and ice cream.

It also has a large seating capacity. Majestic Cineplex, which gives you a fascinating cinema experience and is maintained by The Ceylon Theatres Pvt. Ltd. is also in the house. A kids fun arcade where your children can play and enjoy is also near the food court.

Majestic City still offers the service it once did during its hay day but they do need to modernize. Yes, the early 2000s architecture is nostalgic but I think it would fall out of favour in the coming years if they do not change.

Majestic city food court is one of the oldest food courts in the country with loads of wonderful memories for 80s and 90s generations. It has a great variety fo cuisine from burgers, Chinese. Mongolian. Thai, Italian. Then also has juice and dessert. It's a good hangout and the prices are also reasonable.

Majestic City has a nostalgic feeling for me personally. There is a whole generation who grew up visiting the Play area, food court, cinema hall & many shops here. And its happy to see the place get modernize to current standards. ❤

Quite a run-down place as it is pretty dirty and dull however there is an extensive range of shops that you can go to as well as it has all of the main shops that you might need from an electronic shop to a grocery store. Another positive about this place is that it has a lot of security and covid precautions that have been put in place but do take note that some of the shops have closed down due to the Covid pandemic.

One stop shop but not any more. Majestic city competing with top high street out lets. The tempo and the ambience changed recently or its the after effects of the pandemic. I would go for many reasons. Easy by the main road, plenty of shops to choose from. Price depends on the brand you are after. Nice experience though.

Mostly famous for tech items, but contains almost all items including a super market. Includes a food court in the basement, parking and a 3D movie hall. Since its close to the bambalapitiya railway station, its convenient to come by the train as well.

Went to this place in a current situation in sri lanka. When it comes to food in here was good not bad at all but price was too high(i think bcuz of the current situation in srilanka right now). Place was good and planty of space are available. And i tried a vanilla milk shake from a shop(don't remember the shop name) it wasn't worthy for that price.

Majestic City, also known as its abbreviation of "MC" is a shopping mall like the One Galle Face (OGF) and Colombo City Centre (CCC) which is situated in the heart of Colombo just like the other two! As I have gone to all these three shopping malls several times, I was able to recognize some unique features and if I am to compare those unlike OGF and CCC, MC has the largest food court in comparison and here, by large means a huge number of customers can be served at a time compared to the other two malls as over one to two hundred seating facilities are there. Food is in good quality and quite tasty and prices are a bit above average but not too expensive and at the same time the servings are quite adequate for the customer, means a normal ice cone is bigger than one from an average ice cream shop or a cart and this can be said to the food as well. However, I didn't find a lot of variants of food like, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, etc. There were fried rice, Nasi Goreng, noodles, bbq meat, sausages, coffees, fruit juice, coke and things like that! So basically, from a 1000 rupee a one can eat a good meal with a drink for a change from an everyday meal. (A nasi goreng is about 650 rupees and quite delicious than those from other shops because you get fried mushrooms or chopsuey, a bullseye egg, a spoon full of fantastic chilli-paste, a piece of chilli chicken or bbq chicken and some delicious sauce and this is better than any nasi goreng I have eaten🤷‍♂️). The place also has a handwashing area and washrooms. Apart from the food there's a Cargills food city at the ground floor, directly infront of the main entrance and 2 Commercial Bank ATMs are there just right to the main entrance as the first thing you will find. To the just left is a KFC you can even use to exit the shopping mall. The entrance to the shopping mall has a metal screening machine but you can take your bags inside if you carry a bag or a handbag. Yesterday (14th of March, 2022) at the exit of the MC (which is also the main entrance), I noticed some old hoboes verbally harassing women, especially white foreign girls and women and I think the shopping mall security should be more aware on this and clear out their entrance from such a disgrace (This is also the reason for me not giving 5 stars!). Finally, I felt like this is a shopping mall which prioritizes accessories and devices compared to other 2 malls as there are many shops of fanciful and exotic accessories and devices like PlayStation latest versions and even Binoculars and Telescopes🤷‍♂️ Overall, it's a good place to find many things you need in just one place! Prices may be high but the quality is good!😊

All kind of stufs here in one place and computer & computer stufs are lot here. The food corner (floor) is awesome and there are evey kind of foods here to eat. The parking area is not recommended to park your vehicle specially bikes. The chargers are very high 🤣🤣🤣. Best place to have fun with friends ❤

The economic crisis has made some shops close i think and a lot of the high class has shifted their hangout to newer places so one can do their shopping at your own pace. The shops still have items but the prices are not bargains but not too expensive i think if you are willing to sacrifice fashion for practicality... the food court is still active with a decent selection..
