Liberty plaza is a shopping mall situated in kollupitiya, Srilanka. It is situated in R D Mel Lane. As a busy area, I would like to say first, this shoppong mall have a great parking space. They have two stories for parking. The first floor is for the vehicals that come for the appartments. Second floor is for the customers ho visit for the shopping mall. Bit it charges 50 ruppes for every 30 minitues. I went there last week to buy a new phone. I had to park my car there for 1 hour and 18 minitues. They charged me 150 rupees for the parking ticket. Some one can say that it is okay to charge that much amout for a safe parking. Bit i think it's little too much. Cause we are going for the shops in linerty plaza to buy stuff. They should provide free parking for the customer. Anyways, Inside liberty plaza, you can access to many shops, like mobile phone shops, Curtsin shops, Grocery Shops, electronic shops, Sport accessories shops etc. They also have a food cabin where you csn dine in or take away. There also a play area for kids too. Good plac to hangout with your lobed ones as well as shopping. Reccomended to anyone.

Recently bought an i phone 13pro max for Rs. 240,000.00 but within two months found out they have done some alterations and sold the phone. When I inquired about it they do not give a proper solution was just wasting my time by giving me dumb rectifications and sent me around for more than 3 days as they know what they have done. Still no solutions given to me for more than a week now. Only just wasted my money. Liberty Plaza was the first modern shopping mall to be built and commissioned in Colombo in the mid 1980's. It was quite an upscale place at that time. The upper floors were residential and the lower floors were commercial. It retains the same plan even today. Over the drcades little has changed in the main structure. It houses the Keells super market and uptown department store. Most others are small tenants or small outlets of the big businesses. Phone/ phone accessories shops are everywhere. Though Liberty Plaza has somewhat aged it still provides a pleasant shopping experience to all types of shoppers whether they are looking for shoes, clothes, phones, gifts, gadgets etc etc. By the location it appeals to shoppers taking public transport as well as taxis - easy accessibility to both types of shoppers. Liberty Plaza also boasts of a fairly large multi storey carpark. Buying stuff above a certain value at selected tenants can exempt you from parking fee. During the shopping seasons (April, December) one might struggle to find a parking lot because it can be so crowded.

This is not the most exciting shopping mall in Colombo but in fairness lots of improvements since my last visit, trendy coffee shop and a wider range of branded products on sale, the specialty seems to be mobile phone sales and repair. This is mainly a mall for the locals the food hall is nice and a decent supermarket. Special mention to the tea shop Basilur a great place for everything tea related especially as gifts, very friendly and helpful staff.

It's a bit similar to Majestic city but not like unity plaza! You can find many mobile shops, sports goods, liquor, DVDs & games, utility items & clothing shops. The good court is not that bad. The thai express is good & I can only recommend that place for food. They have a big clothing store called 'Uptown' in 3rd floor & it has everything!

I had a great experience in this mall . Great deals and discounts are available hear. They have a best theatre with very good sound system. This mall Is very clean . Security system is good and the whole management of this mall are working had to give there customers a great shopping experience. In every Christmas time the decorations on this mall is very beautiful. However foods are very expensive and the taste not good at all. I give only 4 stars for only this reason. I'll recommend this mall while you are planning for any shippings.

This mall is very famous for buying mobile phones and it's accessories as well as other electronic products. There's a food court available within this area and very affordable and foods are worthy for the price.

Many shops available. Including kellss super and food court. Most of the shops are moniker phones and other electronic items. Adventure gear shop, wine store with many local and foreign brands. Clothing shoes, perfumery shops, cosmetics shops, intimates shops, jewellery shops, tea lounge, shoe shops and premium stationary shop included.

Nice shopping mall with various shops. I visited a shop for buying umbrellas. The girl who led me was so sweet and able to help me out and packed it well. There is lot of parking areas and shops to enjoy. Due to the recent bomb blasts the security checkups are very severe but good for the safety of the customers.

They have revamped the place (basically given it a new face and much needed face lift) you can find a lot of shops with a lot of cool tech gadgets mostly and few places to eat. If you want to buy some nifty tech gadgets this is definitely a place to go but be aware that there is a bit of a high mark up for the tech gadgets. It's the place to go when buying mobile phones but it's hard to find which store sells genuine products and which doesn't. It's convenient because all electronics are under one roof. Liberty Plaza itself is pretty rundown and poorly maintained. It's easy to get lost in the building. Would be better if there were maps and if the building was maintained better.

A very good place to find a good mobile. I couldn't believe the number of mobile shops there were on the 1st floor. Many clothes shops have disappeared now apart from 3 or 4. Only one eating places on the 1st floor! A big change since my last visit in 2019!

Good place for electronics and accessories purchases. Not a convenient place to spend time still, recommended due to the availability of variety of things but, not all the shops are reliable. Elevators doesn’t work all the time. Parking is very inconvenient since their parking fee is not reasonable and even the public parking slots on the road are always full.

They have charged 2500 for car park 3.5 - 4 hours. I have been to the uptown but the bill amount should be 15k in order to redeem the car park fees. It’s totally unfair and very disappointed. 2500/= is a huge amount to the car park. Hope the management will be consider this and rectify their mistake and amend their car park procedures. Very unhappy! The entire day with family gone upset because of that issue.

One of a largest modern shopping mall in Sri Lanka. It should be the first shopping mall with electric escalators. More shops available for various types of products mainly clothing stores, mobile stores, electronics stores food courts and etc. Ample parking area available at basement floor, but you have to pay more than on street parking fees on Colombo municipal Council area. The important thing is there security staff to monitoring vehicles therefore it is an safety space for parking. Anyway recommended location.

It's like an all in one mall, which is convenient at times. The only problem at the liberty plaza mall is that there should be more chairs for people to sit and a MAP. I cannot stress how many times I got lost in that place. At least a big map at the entrance or somewhere would help immensely.

Liberty plaza is one of the oldest malls in Sri Lanka. Now we have less young crowd in the area with the initiation of the new malls. But still there are several plus points here. It is in the heart of colombo and the stuff are affordable starting from food to movie tickets. There are bank ATM's, a small food court (most with local food), a small theater in the opposite side, roots inside for juice, uptown Kandy one of the main attraction for shoppers, and so many reasonable priced laptop and mobile stores. It is facing the main road. Vehicle parking is available but make sure you do not park for more than 5 hours.

Finally i found & bought green shoe from liberty plaza shoe shop. Fixed price. Service is much not satisfied cashier need prominent work mind. Price is okay. More shoes available in variable colours
