This is my most beloved hotel in Kalutara.

We enjoyed our stay at Karl Holiday Bungalow. The beach is just a walking distance from the bungalow, the swimming pool is quite big and very well maintained. The man who is managing the property, Dil, is very friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to help and assisted us with some of our requests and he is very friendly! The cook's food is truly delicious especially Sri Lankan dishes from their menu! Just one thing we lacked was having a kettle in a room to make tea or coffee in the room.

I was in Karls Holiday Bungalow for a longer stay. The hotel is so excellent and the service of the staff was full of loving kindness and care. The food was made fresh and was so tasty. I enjoyed the pool, which is really amazing and the Hotel Garden is like a park with beautiful, tropical Plants and flowers. I had a kitchen and a own fridge, which was so helpful and I felt very free with all the facilities. I thank the owner, the manager and the staff for all their efforts to make my long stay in Sri Lanka an unforgettable and pleasent time. Rosy

Good choiceto stay in calm place in Kuluara. 5 steps to the beach, clean and calm surrounding. Hosts are kind, you can easily communicate with then in English. Breakfast were ok but you can also do it on Your own, there are fridges for guests and kitchen. Pool is great and clean.

Very nice and friendly atmosphere, rooms are clean and you have a possibility to cook on your own. They serve also food, we have tried only breakfasts and they were okay

We were here for four nights for rest and recreation following a 2000 km drive around the country. As per other reviews, the a/c and room were excellent, the pool was marvellous and the sunset from the balcony stunning. We bought fresh fish off the beach and cooked in the kitchen. The gardens, pool, rooms and outside areas are clean and pleasant. Dill, the manager was helpful with local directions and allowed us to use the bungalows washing machine. Our car was securely parked off street near our unit. Recommended.

Ihan superhyvä! Saat olla rauhassa jos haluat, saat myös palvelua jos haluat. Ihana aamupala hienossa puutarhassa. Voit myös itse tehdä ruokaa keittiössä, kauppa on kävelymatkan päässä. Karl bungalow on erityisen siisti paikka huoneineen ja uima-altaineen. Suosittelen lämpimästi!
